Also be over charged ($150 for swapping your old rim to a new rim that you brought with you) then this is the place for you! Terrible service and experience. I had a nail in my rear passenger tire and a very slow leak in my front passenger tire. I came upon this shop and am glad I did. I used to use Bruce's Tire in Gilroy but they are not like they used to be. The people at Gomez were professional and friendly. I am a car guy and am particular about having things done correctly the first time. For me I took the tires off my own car and brought the wheels and tires because I torque my wheels down and I have never experienced any tire shop doing that except for Gomez. I observed them torquing another customer's wheel. They patched and plugged my rear tire and plugged the front with the slow leak. My tires were fixed correctly to my knowledge. I called these guys to ask them if they could patch or plug my tire and they said they do a combination to ensure that it won't fail. I had an expensive tire and they could've taken advantage of me but they didn't. They charge me $50 to plug and patch a truck tire for a Ford lightning. This is a $300 tire. The guys took my tire off, mounted it and put my spare back which was not easy. I gave them a nice tip because it was well deserved. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Been coming here off and on for a few years. But the last two times have been frustrating. 2 weeks ago I came in for an alignment and it took 2 guys to take turns to figure out for an hour and a half. Then when done the kid with no personality shrugged it off and said "eh it's good enough". They said I needed new struts and quoted me an outrageous price. Thankfully I know how to do car work myself for a fraction of the price. So then I went in today to get 2 new tires after replacing my struts. Prices have jumped from a year ago when I last bought tires here but I still agreed since I was only getting front tires replaced and mine were horrible. After waiting for 40 minutes I see the tires already on the rim without showing me what kind they had in stock and see they aren't all terrain tires like the 4 that were on the suv. So now I have 2 all terrain and 2 touring. Wtf, I figured they'd try to get the same type of tire as was on there at least. I don't know if they changed ownership or what but after years of going there I'm done with them. The newer hollister location where I live seems to be no better. DON'T go here, save your money. I went in with a flat tire and was told I could get a "like new" tire for $120 so that's what I went for. Got my new tire and went to San Jose for an appt then came out to a flat tire. I stopped to get air that cost $2.50 and went back to the tire shop for them to tell me the "like new" tire has a hole in it and they didn't check it with soap and water for holes before they sold it to me. So of course I asked the owner for some of my money back because it's clearly not a "like new" tire with a hole and now a patch. Had I known that before then I wouldn't have bought the tire. His only solution is for me to pay $55 more for a new tire. There's no quality check or check at all on their tires so you're taking a gamble with your money here. Not a good businessman and I'm sure businesses like this won't stay open for long. read more

This is the most Mickey Mouse operation I've ever seen. I went there to get tires for my truck on a Sunday because they were the only place open near me. I wasn't expecting it to take very long because they weren't busy at all. I wait for about 4 hours, their alignment machine kept malfunctioning. This happened about 4 times while I was waiting. The rookie that was working on the alignment couldn't figure it out and the person that looked like he was in charge just kept mumbling to him instead of helping. I finally left unhappy only to realize weeks later they had left off or not fastened a lug nut. When I went back to get the missing lug nut they tried to put on one that was a different color. When I said I wanted a matching one they tried to spray paint one to match. After I left I got half way home and got called back because they wanted to check the rest of their work to make sure it was a one off. Do not come here! read more

Whenever I call American Tire, Bruce's Tire, Good Year's etc...in Gilroy they never have a tire size for my 2019 Camaro. They always have to order it which takes 3 or 5 days and charge $200+ PER TIRE. Called Tony and he had Two Michellin run flats + installation for $70 cheaper than the rest of the guys. Telling all my friends and family about this guy. And if your ever stuck on the road. He can help you with a tire mobile service that Ive also used. Great company, dependable, great priced. I stopped in to get a tire that was going flat fixed a few months ago. I was recommended by my niece who experienced great service there. A gentleman named Jose immediately approached when I stepped out of the car. I proceeded to tell him my issue and thought I was going to need a new/used tire. These guys royally screwed up my truck.I'm st ill not done fixing it . well into the thousands. I got quoted a good price for tires on a performance truck. Got there different budget tires. And a huge price hike for the install $10 per tires. So this sux but then I go to drive off and the truck won't roll. I asked them to look at it they said it was the p brake. I go back give it gas and I'm dragging both front tires no p brake in the front., turns out they put the tire balance weights on top of both calipers destroying the spindles calipers and rims.
