I asked to reschedule for Saturday or Sunday because his website said he was available both days from 10-3 he said not available. He didn't want to do it for a reason unknown to me. I asked for the $60 deposit back but apparently I was the one that canceled on him so I don't get the deposit back? Even tho I woke up to a text saying he can't come today or any time this weekend because he doesn't feel like it. I've had to argue for the deposit and I'm still uncertain if I'll actually get the $60 back he doesn't see to be the most trustworthy. Genuinely so scammy he's the reason people don't trust mechanics because they behave like this as soon as it's time to actually to business. He was so pushy about booking the appt too saying if I don't book right away it will cause "delays" whole time he's the delay. Super rude, super unprofessional, super bad attitude in general.

I live over in the Santa Cruz mountains but was over the hill for errands. My battery died (or so…read moreI thought). AAA gave me a jump but my A/C, dash and power windows and stereo wouldn't work. The AAA towing guy said it was my alternator. I didn't want to drive back over the hill with a bad alternator so I started calling auto shops around where I was that were actually open on a Saturday. I called and spoke with Gary. He got my information and was able to find an alternator for my Hummer H2 (OEM at that) and said to bring it in and I could be up and running in two hours. I dropped off my car and went to the pizza place next door to eat lunch and wait. A little while later I got a call from Gary and he said that the issue wasn't my alternator at all. It was my string of lights zip tied under my car connected to my battery. The light strip had come down and was dragging on the ground and essentially shorting out my battery. Once he disconnected it from my battery everything started working again. The level of detail they went into to find the true issue vs just putting in an alternator was very impressive and just shows true integrity and customer service. I wish I lived near by them cuz I would definitely make them my primary mechanic. For anyone looking to bring your car in for work, just know you are in good hands. I highly recommend them.
