i had the best Pedicure of my life at Lee Nails. Amy was wonderful and so attentive. I didnt feel rushed and she actually let me soak and enjoy my coffee before she began my pedicure. I appreciated that as it was a rough week and I just wanted to chill for a moment. I have been back twice since then and the people are all so nice and warm. The place is super clean. They also do a great job on eyebrows. read more

never again I paid $81 for a gel set with no chip color, and a pedicure. I've gotten this device at other places the most I've paid is $65. I believe they make up their own prices, i understand the place is clean and nice but what good is it if clients can't afford the outrageous prices you have. I'm officially done with them on can go somewhere else near by in the neighborhood for less. read more

I had an amazing experience here. I got a no chip manicure and Jenny did a fantastic job. She made sure my nails were clean cut and even. I loved her professional work. If you go ask for Jenny!!! read more

This place just opened and I am very impressed. Fantastic customer service, clean atmosphere, and fun staff. My nails were done quick and they look beautiful! The polish selection is amazing! Can't wait to go back! read more

Beautiful space! But I didn't like the gel the used on my nails. It lifted within a few days, then soon after peeled off. I got the deluxe pedicure ($55) and it lasted a long time, the massage was nice, but she didn't spend enough time on my toenails. I need someone to get in there! My only complaints. Seems very clean though, lots of room and chairs read more

I just moved to Rogers park about a year ago and have not found a nail place in the area. I typically go to this place in the loop during my lunch but since I had been off all week I needed to find a place. I sometimes go to a place off of Lawrence and western but is quite a ways from me. My BF actually recommended this place because he knows someone that works here so I gave it a try. I walked in and was impressed by the cleanliness and how nice the place looked overall. I was greeted immediately and was asked to pick out a color which they have so many options. They can do basic polish to specific designs. I opted with the matte finish since I had never tried it before. I originally wanted to go with a dark red but was advised that I should go with a dark purple because of how the matte finish would look. Anyway .. Danny did my nails and he did a great job ! He was very thorough and detailed and took his time. He made great recommendations and overall was just fantastic. I would recommend going to him if you want a job well done. This will definitely be my new nail place ! read more

People are friendly, but wide variation in my satisfaction with the mani-pedis that I get there. The range is from just okay to fabulous, so ask for someone experienced. read more

The staff is friendly, efficient and competent. The salon is spacious, clean and inviting. I was offered options and offered water or tea. My pedicure made a rough day feel better and the massage chairs are brand new! Check out the new grocery store - grab a quick workout and then TREAT YOURSELF! read more

Nope. Never again. The tech rushed through the process; did a terrible job clipping, smudged my polish twice, and took personal calls while working on my nails. I was there on Friday and by Saturday afternoon I took the polish off because it was terribly chipped already. Their pricing is below market. You get what you pay for, apparently. read more

I've only been there once, but I was very impressed! Very reasonable prices. Very clean. Very nice folks. This is my new go to place for manis and pedis. read more

Bad customer services and infected my nails. I went in, the place was empty I was getting my nails done by Amy and I told her that the acrylic was too thick and she was filing my cuticle. She said ok. After I washed my hands I noticed that the old nail (I was getting a fill-in) was not filed at all. It still had dirt, glitter, air pockets and bubbles under the new acrylic. I told her I would like it done over because it causes infection. She called the manager and I told him the same thing. He says what do you want me to do I said I would like you to fix or soak it off and start over. He said if we soak off I will charge you. I said I will not allow you to charge me to give me an infection later. He said why didn't you tell her before she started. My sister spoke up and said she did but why should have to tell a nail tech what to do. He told my sis I am not talking to you it's not your nails don't talk to me(I was surprised at his horrible customer service). As he was standing over me he had his finger in my face telling me that I should have said something. My sis stood up and told him that he was a man and he should never approach a woman the way he did. I told him that you will fix my nails because you are the one that messed it up. As I went to his station, and he was putting on his gloves I said no wonder it's only me in here, there is horrible customer service. He told me just leave so I left. Never will I come in here to be disrespected again. read more

This was experience was great! However they were a little pushy or maybe the situation was confusing but i had a gym class at noon and they were insisting I get a fill in but i explained id be back . However Tina, Which i do not see as a option for a tech as she did a amazing job! i will def be back and maybe give them a try with their no chip manicure as well. I just have been going to the same person for years and he is fantastic but the pedicures are nothing compared to this place and it is a clean and luxurious looking place. you wouldnt think it looks the way it does by looking from the outside. read more

Service used to be good, until change of management. It's a hit or miss, but my last experience was so bad, I will no longer be returning.

If you get the organic pedicure and you add $30 you can get a gel treatment on your finger nails. Being a guy, I didn't know where to turn (I didn't need false nails) I loved all the attention I was given. I loved the paraffin wax treatment and mask to my legs. I really liked it but it was my second time here. The first time I was here I didn't know about their other services and got the basic package. While I was there I got a wax on my feet and eyebrows. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Long wait times and was not able to assist me even after I waited over an hour never again will I go back

Honestly, the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. My nails were filed unevenly, and the polish was applied way too thick to ever dry. I had to ask the tech to smooth out the top coat on one of my nails because it looked like she just put a drop on and left it... I also had to ask her to clean up the extra polish on my skin. I have been there a few times in the past and it's been ok, but I don't think I will be returning in the future. read more

This is a scam of an operation. I received a $100 gift card purchased by a friend and Chin, the owner, refused to honor it at the Howard location. He instructed me to go to their location on Touhy and they wouldn't honor the gift card. I was told to go to the location on Devon and speak with Jenny, the owner, who didn't honor the gift card either but all (4) locations including the one in Nagle are STILL SELLING GIFT CARDS BEWARE! read more

I honestly can't say enough about this place, my partner and I try to go once a month and every time we are treated like royalty. The manicures are great but the pedicure is really where it's at, get the ultimate package and you will be treated to not only getting your nails done but many rounds of feet and leg massage, a paraffin wax for your feet and even a hot stone for your feet and legs followed by a hot towel wrap. It's so relaxing I have no other words to describe it. Go now you won't regret it! read more

I was a walk in during the week because I saw their special, I got a manicure. First of all the guy greeted me and told me to pick out a nail color and said the wait would be 10 minutes, I waited 30 minutes. He kept telling people the same thing and people would walk out after 20 minutes, but I decided to stay. The lady that did my nails seemed very rushed and was hurting me the whole time. Manicures are supposed to be relaxing and it was very stressful. I also noticed that she did not use clean tools or even new tools on my nails, it was gross. I told her to just file my nails down and not to cut them, she went ahead and cut just ONE thumb. My nails are naturally square shaped and she made that one thumb round and the rest square. My nails are too different shaped now, it looks weird. When she went on to paint my nails she kept messing up because of how fast she was trying to go. Theres still nail polish on my cuticles, I could have done a better job myself. Im very disappointed that I even paid for this service. read more

I really want to like this place, mostly because it's close to my house and I can always get in quickly. However, I can't justify the cost anymore ($38 for mani and pedi) given that my nails are always chipping by day 2. The main problems I've noticed is that 1) they don't "wrap" the nail polish around the tip of the nail so the top edges start to wear down almost immediately and 2) they extend the polish to basically on top of the cuticle, so as your nail grows, the polish pulls away, leaving a "flap" of polish that's not stuck to the nail at your nail bed. This snags every time I run my hands through my hair, and eventually the whole "sheet" of polish pulls off the nail. I've been several times with several technicians and the same thing happens every time. This last time they also didn't put clear coat from edge to edge so it's like a matte perimeter around each nail... For quality of services I'd give 2 stars, the extra star is because the salon, as others have noted, is very nice inside. read more

I have been here 3 or 4 time maybe 3 months ago the customer service was awesome, cool and relaxed greeting. Yesterday, I treated my mother to getting her nails and eyebrows done. The very moment we walked in the door it was like we were attacked on what we wanted done as if it was hella busy and I needed to get people in and out fast. I've never seen this lady there before but I have never felt so rushed. The moment we walked in her first question to my mother was what color what color what color, over there, over there without any greeting. But first experiences was more like a spa, you were calmly greeted with a smile, then you were asked how can we help you (they actual allowed you time to answer the question) and escorted to where you would sit. This was the sole reason I chose this particular establishment but now that I've experienced it yesterday it has lost its spa like atmosphere with the services at the front. No thanks, looks like they're going for the more ghetto clientele. read more

I've been going to Lee Nails for a few months now, but I don't know that I'll be returning. I used to get fantastic no-chip manicures here, but that last few times have been awful. First there was the manicure where my polish looked wavy and uneven. Then there was the manicure where I got buffed so much it cut my skin beside my nails. This last time was the nail in the coffin. My tech was buffing my nails and (again) cut the skin next to two nails. No apology even though I reacted and she could see that there was blood starting. Then, while she was trimming my cuticles, she tried cutting into my actual skin! I jerked my hand back because it hurt and she said, "Ooh, sorry!" I placed my hand back down and she tried to cut the same place! I jerked my hand back, said "Ow! That's actually my skin you're trying to cut there. That's why I jerked last time!" She seemed kind of un-phased by this and just moved on to another nail. It was bleeding a little and she didn't try to clean it up herself, she just told me to go wash my hands. The manicure itself wasn't even good this time. It chipped on day two, so I won't be returning anytime soon. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Let me say this is my first time leaving a yelp review and it is because I went there yesterday to get my gel manicure removed and have not stopped thinking about it since. I went in to this nail salon to get them put on and told the woman I was hoping to grow my nails under. A few fill-ins and several weeks later I go to her to get them removed and she clips and pulls my nails aggressively leaving them not only brittle but uneven. I was not even offered gel nails to be soaked off. Obviously, I would rather a significantly less painful and damaging alternative if I knew it existed. Not only are my nails as short as when I started but they need to re grow entirerly. Definitely will not be returning, becuase no one should have their nails removed this way in a professional shop. read more

I only stopped in because the place I was in the area. I got an acrylic fill and they look terrible. Way over priced for a crap job. I'm going to another place right now to get them fixed. The girl literally filled them, filed them and then put a clear coat on. Usually there are a few more steps. They look rough and not even good. I will never go back. Waste of time. The place I usually go is cheaper, faster, and I get a very good result. read more

On Feb 12, 2016, I came in to get my mani-pedi. It was a very bad experience.I have been going to this salon for a couple of years, but this is the first time the owner, Jenny, was there. While I was getting my nails done, she decided to mop the floors and put water from the rear of the shop to the front of the shop. A customer needed to be rung up so instead of finishing the mopping, she left the water on the floor- no sign, no warning, nothing. I went to go wash my hands in the back of the salon at the sink and fell flat on my face, slipping on the water since I was wearing the sponge flip flops they give you for your pedicure. It was fortunate that I did not slip backwards or I would have cracked my head. Instead, I twisted my leg, pulled a hamstring, and landed on my elbow/shoulder. Jenny did offer to call an ambulance, I declined. NEVER DECLINE. I had the presence of mind to take a photo of the floor. I paid for my services (yes, they were not comp'd) The next day I was so sore. Jenny never contacted me to see how I was doing. After 2 days, I called her to tell her I was still in pain-her response... call my insurance agent. I filed a complaint w her agent. It was declined because she had a lying witness who told the insurance company I tripped on my on pants. Ladies... please tell me how that could be when my pants were rolled up to my knees from the pedicure. Her negligence has caused me a lot of pain and it has taken 3 months for it to subside. Jenny could care less about her customers and I never even got an apology. An apology would have gone a long way while I had to still work with leg cramps for 3 months. I think people should know how she treats her customers. read more

Very impressed by this salon. The interior is clean and a step above what you might expect from a mall nail shop. They do no-chip gel polishes. Nice chairs and clean equipment. Professional and efficient staff (they were thoughtful enough to ask when I came in around lunchtime whether I was on my lunch hour and might need to get in and out quickly!) Glad to have them in the neighborhood and definitely recommend them! read more

Used to like this place, but not anymore... I walked in on Saturday afternoon (which I do understand is busy time for them). I saw a line of 4 people waiting and asked how long is the wait time for the no chip manicure. The owner just told me to sit down like there is no wait at all. I realized that it will be a wait time anyway because all of them were busy and 4 more people waiting so I decided to go shopping to the next door Jewel Osco and told them I'll be back in about 30 min hoping that someone will be available for me by that time. When I came back, the guy was indeed available but more and more people were coming and waiting so I could tell they all were in a great rush. My no chip manicure was made in 20 minutes!!! I could feel that they just don't care about the quality of the service they just want to take more customers and get more money. I paid $35 for non chip manicure that start to come off the next day!!!!! So if the staff or the manager reading this just know that your job first of all suppose to be a good service and not the quantity of people that you can take per an hour because for example, I will not come back anymore even though I used to be a regular customer ... read more

I have been going here since they first opened, and I can say that everything has gone down hill over the last two years. Tonight was the end of my patience. No one was waiting when I walked in, so they filled the tub for my pedicure. The water was way too hot (really? Don't you all do this for a LIVING??). My polish on my toes is on my skin, and you know how when they trim your toe nails and then paint the ends? Umm, nope. Not any more at this place. My manicure is not any better...you know how they put cuticle lotion on and push your cuticles back? Ummm, nope. Not any more at this place. Done. With. Them. There are too many other better places to go. read more

I have been getting no chip manicures and pedicure (along with eyebrown and lip waxing) at this salon for approximately 1 year now. Their no chip manicures last me anywhere from 2 plus weeks up to 5 weeks when I can't get over there. I highly recommend this nail salon for their cleanliness and quality of service. All the girls are professional and super friendly. I always ask for Lily and just love her and her work. read more

I had seen this place before but I have my regular salon that I frequent. However I decided to go here today, and I did not regret it! Micheal is the name of the tech who waited on me. The leg scrub/massage and hot towels on a cold day it made me so special. Just the decor alone is well put together and the design/color scheme is so inviting! What a treat! I will reccomend this place to all my friends,.The staff is warm and friendly. So refreshing on a snowy day! Prices are reasonable and please tip in cash its so worth it!! read more

Had a very nice pedicure and brows experience here! Great to have a high quality place in the neighborhood.

I have been going to Lee for quit some time. The salon is clean and beautiful , the staff is friendly and I have always been happy with the end result. Due to having been so pleased with them it makes this review tough. On January 4 I was charged for a pedicure and gel manicure. I knew I had not been there in months due to an insane work schedule. I immediately called and the owner answered. As soon as I started to speak she began to explain there was a major issue with their credit card machine and all transactions between end of October and mid November never finalized which meant they were never paid. I felt horrible for them so I spent the time going through text messages to see if I was there during that time frame. if I had been I would have gladly allowed the charge to remain on my account. Then I called the bank and I was informed I was in fact there on November 8 and those charges did go through. So much for credit card charges not finalizing during that time. I informed the owner of what I had discovered and she told me I would receive a refund and a call back. That was over 2 weeks ago. I now have the pleasure of getting a new debit card and changing my card number on the many accounts my old card was attached to for payment . The real issue....why did they have my card number on file?! Not legal and very shady! read more
