I NEVER thought I would be the type of person to write reviews, but this place truly deserves one. So I am taking the time to write one! because other people definitely have to check this place out! I went in for a pedicure and a no-chip French tip. When I left, I wasn't completely satisfied the tips were a bit crooked and too thin, and the French base was more milky white instead of the neutral pink I prefer. I didn't say anything at the time because I'm pretty shy, and I didn't want to come off bratty. After showing my nails to a friend, she encouraged me to call and get them fixed. I was hesitant because I didn't want to come off as someone who complains, but I'm really glad I did. The receptionist was incredibly sweet, super apologetic, understanding, and accommodating,. She encouraged me to come back in and insisted they could fix them . When I returned, another nail tech gladly fixed my nails exactly how I wanted them. Not once did anyone make me feel uncomfortable or like I was being difficult. They were kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming the entire time!!!!!! Great customer service makes all the difference, and they really delivered!!!!! I truly appreciate how they handled everything . I was super happy!!!!! Definitely recommend this place! read more

Oh, so many good things to say about Glow Nails!!! This is my favorite nail salon I've ever been to in the Chicago area. I started coming here shortly after they opened, having randomly stumbled upon their Instagram with only a handful of followers. Right away, I was impressed with the clean and beautiful space, quality, pricing, and welcoming staff. All of the nail artists there are 10/10, kind, and talented! I've never had a nail salon where the techs remember what we talked about weeks prior. I have greatly enjoyed getting to know the entire team!!! They truly make the salon what it is and bring the best energy. Due to the salon's focus on natural nails, my nails have gotten longer and stronger. I've loved every set I've gotten, and the girls have let me try new trends, such as cat eye and fairy dust. I've loved exploring different nail ideas, and the artists at Glow always do an incredible job executing any ideas you have. I've also had a few great pedicures here. The pedicures have been so relaxing, and my feet always look incredible after, no matter how rough of shape they were in when I walked in. I appreciate the time and care they put into all their services. I have recommended Glow Nails to so many friends in the area and will continue to do so!!! This is the only nail salon I will go to after trying so many over the years. None compare to Glow Nails. It's partly the small touches, such as technicians wearing name tags. The friendly service makes me feel comfortable and is always combined with high quality on my manis and pedis. Keep up the amazing level you have attained! read more

Live near by, didn't know glow opened. Went to today and was very impressed. It's a big space, everything is clean (which is important for me when I look for a nail spot) I was able to be seen by the owner which was nice because she chatted with my friends and I and she was very personable. She was honest about pricing and if we truly didn't need something and how it may or may not look. read more

The salon was clean and looked relatively new, and the manicurists were very pleasant. They recommended a few colors for me that I really loved! Linda is kind, patient, and incredibly wise. The best pedicure and manicure I've ever received, and the vibe is calm. My no-chip manis usually last more than three weeks! They only work on natural nails, and they do give you a small discount if you pay in cash. Try them out! read more

I wish I could pick this place up and bring it back to Texas with me. I had a gel pedicure that was amazing! They fit me in last minute and were METICULOUS about everything. I had Alice and she was phenomenal! I was stuck between two colors and she showed me how both would look before I made a commitment. I've had my share of basic and fancy mani/pedis and this place really does a great job of bridging the gap - it's clean, well lit (not piercing blue-white light that some places favor, those give me a headache!), well stocked, the technicians know what they're doing. They are on time, friendly, but not so much that you can't relax and enjoy your respite. I *never* trust a nail tech to pick my color, but I've twice found that the Glow tech found a better compliment to my skin tone than I did - so now I'm just letting her decide. They were patient with managing group events when I went with friends, and again with my daughters. Parking is easy, proximity great. They book by appointment - and don't take walk-ins - so you know you're getting time set aside just for you. I encourage you to give them a try. read more

Just had my fourth visit. Another meticulous no-chip by jenny. My manicures last three weeks, and polish removals are gentle with zero damage to my nail beds. Really big selection of colors. My cuticles don't peel at all which I experienced every single time i have had a manicure before coming to Glow. My first visit was with Lynda (an owner i think) and she was also very thorough, with the same care and no cuticle issues. If you want a quality manicure that lasts, this is your place. Do yourself (and them) a favor: make an appointment -- they've had to turn walk-ins away because they're booked up! read more

I've been to a few nail salons and this one is by far the best. I got a pedicure and the gel x nails. This was my first time getting gel x and the nail tech (I wish I didn't forget her name) walked me through the whole process. Both ladies that did my toes and nails spent a lot of time and precision to make sure my toes and nails were wedding ready! I'm in a wedding and needed a more nude and neutral color. The place was very clean and only 5 minutes from where I live. If you're in the Albany Park area highly recommend! I called on a Monday morning and was able to be seen in the afternoon. read more

I could tell based off of how patient and understanding the owner, Lynda, was on the phone when I called to make an appointment, that this would be a positive experience. My partner and I came to get our nails done (pedi for me, mani for him) on a whim. Staff was incredibly friendly and immediately make you feel like a regular (making conversation, calling you by name.) When getting my pedi, the tech made sure everything was how I wanted it, from chair massage to nail color. This was also the first pedi I've ever had where I didn't feel embarrassed for the state of my feet (I'm on my feet A LOT and haven't had a pedi in two years.) Long story short, we WILL be back. I stumbled across Glow Nails yesterday by chance and funny enough came to find out that they are the sister location of you and co nails that I have been going to for my pedicures for years. I have been looking for my new "nail home" for a while now and I definitely found it.
