When I asked about getting it fixed, she seemed upset and made me feel uncomfortable for simply asking for the service I was paying for. Unfortunately, the ombré was also not done well. One of my nails broke afterward, so I went back to have it fixed. While I was there, the technicians started talking among themselves, and it appeared they were discussing me and my request to have the nail repaired. They were all looking at me, and I was left sitting there for a while. It was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. I have been coming here for a while, but ever since Kevin left, I honestly feel that the quality of the service and the overall experience are not the same. When you pay for a service, you expect the work to be satisfactory and to be treated respectfully when you have a legitimate concern. Unfortunately, that was not my experience this time.

And you get what you pay for: if you upgrade to a more expensive pedicure, they really spend a lot of quality time on your feet. But even with the classic pedicure, I feel like they take their time with the massaging and clean up of my toes. Although the place is not very large, that's kind of what I like about it. I don't feel rushed and I feel like they know me well enough to know how to service my nails nicely. I will state, I'm not a super picky person. If you're looking for a specific rare color, a weird design, etc this may not be your place. But that's fine with me because I like it better when it's slow and I can do a walk in. LBVS. The color I chose was a deep burgundy, almost dark brown/purple, not too far from my usual preferred colors in the fall. It was ZGel 84 "Camp Ground." The salon was pretty full, and I was seated promptly at a station next to another client. There were two stations side by side that flanked the side wall. The other wall were pedicure chairs. This seemed like a popular place, and while it's not a hot-hand-towels sort of place, it was a good quality mani for a decent price. Hanna took her time and carefully filed and shaped my nails to the shaped I preferred, and was gently with my one broken nail that was a little shorter than the others. There are TVs with cooking shows playing (perfect, for me) and I was in/out without issue. I was satisfied with my mani and Bella Nora seems like a reliable salon! Judging by the good reviews (which is how I found and chose this place) and the quality of their services, I will be back!

I appreciate that they did not try to upsell me, but I do think it would have been nice to have more services such as a bit more of a massage or some more scrubs. It was quite basic and I wasn't offered other options. I was then moved to the manicure table after the pedicure was complete. Like the pedicure, it went by quite quickly. Not that it is necessary, but the staff really made no attempt to have a conversation at all. I'm OK with it, but they could have come across a little friendlier. No one was rude at all, but it just wasn't the warmest environment. As far as the manicure, I liked the color, but the gel dried unevenly with a few bumps here and there which annoyed me. They do accept walk ins but plan to call before coming in to make sure they have time for your service. i have been there when they cannot accommodate a walk in. But if you call they will schedule you pretty quickly. The prices just increased to $55 for a regular mani/pedi but I think that is competitive with other places. The nail techs always take their time and I leave happy with my nails.

Now, my cuticles are irritated and bleeding and the polish is chipped and peeling and she refuses to see me to remove it. I will probably patronize this business in the future but will stick to the nail techs that I prefer. The salon itself is clean and free of clutter. Some of the women that work here use google translate app to communicate, so be prepared for a slight language barrier when explaining what you're looking for. If you are looking for friendly and bubbly nail techs, this is not it. They are very direct, take their time, and for the most part, do excellent work.
