If I could give 0 stars I would! I may not spell her name correctly, but Daeria is awful! first, the salon is constantly changing their prices. Their nail polishes are clumpy, the sinks where they perform their pedicure was dirty, the lady pulled out an old filing instrument that looked like white powder was coming out, and sanitation is not a priority. I'm surprised their still in business. I told Daeria that I knew my nails were still wet, and she insisted that my nails were dry, even after I told her that my nails felt sticky still. I called to let her know, and not once did she apologize. Daeria had the gaw to ask me if I needed to come back to fix them.. I told her of course yes and she was like fine and hung up on me... save your money go else where. read more

I've been coming here for 8mos and I've loved my no-chip every time from Cindy and Darae. It's lasted 2-3weeks every time! The last lady that did them (the last 3x) does them too thin! She soaked me too long my nail beds burned, the foils we're so tight it deformed a few of my nails. She did 3 coats of polish AND 2 top coats. It's VERY translucent and 3 chipped on day one. I got them done Wednesday evening, I have a weeding tomorrow and my nails look awful. My thumb broke bc of the damage. read more

Very nice nail salon. They were kind enough to take me late on a Sunday, graciously, without a fuss, and with no wait. Cindy was super sweet and did a great job; very gentle and pretty thorough, perfect polish. Slightly pricier than I'm used to; $35 for a pedicure with a very short massage (but it WAS late in the day), so $42 with a tip, and no sign up with prices, but the paraffin wax on my heels was indeed a "nice touch." Everything was very clean & sterile, individually wrapped buffer & file, large color selection. Will be back when I'm in the area again. Was a lovely treat after a year of no pedis! read more

Reviews were mixed but I'm new to the area and it's conveniently located down the street so I thought I'd give it a try. I definitely will not go back. I paid 40 + tip for a no chip manicure, which seems to be standard but this was definitely not worth it. The manicurist was a little rough on my nails and they are lumpy and there are several tiny holes in the polish. I couldn't tell while in the salon lighting but when I walked out into the daylight, it was pretty bad. Hard no from me. read more

I've been going to this salon for years. It's clean and the instruments are well sanitized. The customer service is great, they can almost always accommodate me and the friendly workers remember everyone's name. They have lots of colors to choose from and several services. I give this joint 2/5 stars. Hygiene: lacking. They need to use those tub liners for the pedicures and individual utensils. They use same stuff on everyone. Pedicure: they didn't cut the cuticles at all. Also didn't buff out the heel callous. They did do a nice parafin thing at the end. Polish: no top coat I won't come here ever again. read more

My Mother in Law has been going here a while. She stopped in today for a pedicure, had to wait 1/2 hour. Then they started her pedicure. Someone came in that had an appointment and they stopped working on her & left her sitting there another 1/2 hour. When it was time for her to go she paid the fee, but no tip because they left her sitting there. One of the other ladies wouldn't let her our of the chair until she tipped. My mother in law is 88 & tiny. She felt threatened by that lady. She left a $5 tip just to get out. She won't be back. That is elder abuse. They are lucky we weren't there! read more

My happy feets are thanking me for bringing them to Nice Touch Nail Salon: we moved to Chicago a bit more than a year ago, and since that time on advice from my neighbor that i've been coming to Nice Touch Nail Salon to get pedicure done. Today's experience (and all the previous ones) has been very good - the sink where i was about to get my feets soaked was lined with disposable liner as soon as i walked in and greeted by Darae. The stainless instruments were the top of her workstation soaking in rubbing alcohol, and she pulled out the brand new disposable mail files from the sealed package in front of my eyes.. never a doubt it's been used before. The selection of nail polishes is to satisfy anyone's desire. But most importantly the attention and care Darae has given to my feet (is the water too hot? How short would i like to have the toenails cut? any special attention is needed? and yes - my ingrown toenail didn't seem a nuisance to her, and she worked and worked on it to make sure the pains go away. Needless to say, for ur pedicure needs and wants, i wholeheartedly recommend visiting this place. And ask for Darae. read more

I had the best experience today for a pedicure with Darae. For decades one big toe has been one of those super thick, growing sideways nails that many older people have (I'm in my 70's). I have been going for pedicures for as many decades using many different salons. Today, my "hide-my-feet-while-wearing-sandals" days came to an end! Darae had to coax me into letting her "redesign" my nail, assuring me she absolutely would be able to get it looking normal. I was ABSOLUTELY floored that she delivered on her words. I am SO happy! I really wanted to like them. Nice people but I've had better manicure and pedicure at another local nail salon. This place is a little bit cheaper than the other place, but I am not as satisfied. I feel like my pedicure was rushed by the technician. This other girl came before me by a min or so but I was finished FIRST. And you can see it from the pedicure results. My nails were not all covered by polish. If I'm paying someone else to do my nails, I would expect perfection. read more

I could not be any angrier at the owner. Let me say this.....a bad bad businesswoman. This place was chosen by me three years ago out of convenience. I work long hours and the salon is closer to my work. The girl who did no chip and then pedicure that very first time was the reason I kept coming back every single month for the past three years. I was happy with the service and no chip always stayed perfectly fine for a month or so except this past week. No chip was done by a new person, not the owner like usually. The girl was very friendly and polite, I thought at the time she was doing a good job. Well I was so wrong. No chip started to come off in 3 days. I could see there were my real nails showing through on the tip ends. By the time I came back for a re-do, I had no nail polisher on 5 nails. So, I went straight to the owner complaining that there was a bad job done by the girl last week, and I needed this to be fixed. Asked for a pedicure as well which I was happy to pay for. She took me in right away and did the job herself. Time will show, but it was done as it was supposed to. So I asked her how much I owed for a "damage". She replied $60. For a minute I thought I misheard her. I asked again. Yep, peeps, she charged me for a shitty job last week, FULL PRICE!! In my head I was cursing but slowly swallowed my pride and gave her $60. Wait...this is not the end. She asked for a tip!!!!! She reminded me that I gave her only $60 and nothing on top. Wtf??? I own a business myself. If I treated my clients like she did me today, I would lose all of them same minute. Wow...need to find another place. Ugh read more

Have been coming here for a couple of years in and off. I usually get the no chip mani and it lasts me 3-4 weeks with no chips at all!!

Went here with a friend for pedis. What a terrible idea. The place was a ghost town. That should have been the first clue. The pedi chairs aren't nice, and the water looked weird. The lady giving the pedi did a terrible rush job. Beware! There are much better places to go around here! read more

Ugh. I really wanted to love this place. The ladies were all super friendly and it was clean. However, my coworker and I went on our lunch break, and even though there was only 1 other customer in there, they literally didn't start on my friends' pedi until they were already 20 minutes into mine. The most disappointing aspect is that they didn't do as well of a job exfoliating as I've experienced elsewhere, so my toes look dry again only 5 days later, plus they didn't cover all visible parts of my toenails with polish. I got my nails done on Saturday and 3 days later they were already chipping! The woman took a really long time to paint my nails and the paint was very uneven on some parts. I have been to a number of nail salons in the past and this one took the longest and the manicure is the shortest lasting manicure I've ever paid to get. A friend brought me here a few months ago. Comfortable. Friendly. Walk-ins welcome. Such a nice place. Open on Monday's, which is a plus.

Fantastic nail salon! Walked in, no appointment, and was helped right away! Very comfortable place and Cindy took great care of me. She took her time and made sure my nails looked wonderful. They always do a great job and will fix any chipped nails within the first week you got your nails done. I don't understand the first review from a few years ago. Obviously, if you are rough with your hands, your nails are going to chip. I highly recommend this place and I do not plan on changing to a different nail salon anytime soon. I am a die-heart yelper and before I try any new salon I read the reviews. I had an extra hour waiting for my significant other to get out of work and tried Nice Touch Nail Salon for the first time. I was in for a no-chip manicure and the young woman who was working on my nails was really nice. Unfortunately, not even 10 hours later- my index finger was chipped. Not even a week later all my nails were starting to chip and I was able to peel the coat of nail polish off without a problem. The service was good but unfortunately the product was not. read more

Stay far away. I went in for a manicure, and to soak off my acrylic nails. She burned me with the electric file three times, then shoved my finger into the acetone. The owner was fighting with another client about prices and my manicurist got up in the middle of my soak off to work on someone else (one of her regulars I assume). I sat there for 25 min waiting for her, so by time she came back I told her we could just skip the the manicure. She quickly half assed my soak off then told me my total was $40. I gasped! My 5 year old got her toes colored (15$) and soaking off acrylics were (25). Most ridiculous prices I've ever seen. I'm usually so easy to please but this was such a horrible experience. read more
