    Pan fried buns
    Kelly W.

Located in the food court of the GW supermarket! The place offers a lot of different types of dumplings, buns, Asian style meat pies/pancakes. Service was pretty fast for us even tho they only have a chef and a front counter person. We ordered the pan fried pork buns, xiao long bao and a pork and radish bun. Both the pan fried buns and xiao long bao were very juicy! A little disappointed on the pork and radish bun due to it was cold when we got it. We saw the buns have been sitting on the counter hence that's why it was cold; it would have been better if they can heated up before giving it to us. Overall, the food was decent and I would def revisit when I am in the area!

I was at The Square food court with my Mom the other weekend. She normally likes to buy food from the same old food vendor because it's the least expensive which is fine. I prefer to try different foods despite of the cost as long as it's still reasonable. I chose to give Lee Fu Ji a try. It's a Mom & Pop place. They took over the spot where Wei's Kitchen used to be. Hence, they are fairly new to the food court arena. Their specialty is pan fried pork dumplings, pan fried pork buns, beef rolls, spicy wontons, various noodle dishes, and more. They also sell frozen items in larger quanities. Restaurant front was bright with big pictures of the food items for ease of reference. I went with a few food items... 1. Seafood fried rice - good amount of seafood and excellent wok flavor 2. Pan fried pork dumplings - slightly oily, but fantastic juicy pork filling 3. Pan fried pork buns - slightly oily and great tasting pork filling 4. Seafood vermicelli - didn't get the wok flavor and too soy saucy unfortunately The lady who took my order was nice, but she did not speak much English or at all. I mainly pointed to the items. I don't why, but it took a long time for my order to be done. There weren't a lot of people... I think I was one of 2 or 3 customers at the time. Anyway, I wasn't in a rush or anything, but my Mom was done with her food before I got mine. Prices are reasonable. They just need to work on their speed of service. Good luck Lee Fu Ji!

very salty n the filling in it small portion . very little chives n scrambled egg. $12 not worth it also again very salty compared to restaurant in China town. i prefer Vietnamese or Taiwanese.

Nice dumpling, noodles, beef roll type of restaurant replacing Wei's Kitchen. Not to be confused with Liu Fu Ju, which recently closed in the same shopping center. Bags of frozen dumplings also available.

Just stumbled in here looking for some Asian food. Too many choices. I ended up getting a shrimp noodle that had bok Choi and a soy sauce flavor. $9.99 big portion great deal. Also thai and Vietnamese food stalls if your friend wants something else while you eat here.

Cheap and good taste. Nice service. It was delicious. I have eaten a few times. Recommended frozen dumplings, which are great, thin skin and big filling. Good quality and low price. The owner is very nice, if you need anything, tell them

Thin and crispy pie dough and super juicy on the inside, so you should definitely eat it over a bowl to catch all the soup.

Won't allow to change some food on banquet menu, just had to add another dish. Food came out fast & with big plates, hardly any space on table, waiter just left it on top of 2 serving trays. They didn't care that serving plates were still full. The beef loc lac was tough, deep fried fish sauce tasted weird with their sweet sour sauce, pea sprouts which I was trying to change to another dish but couldn't, sure enough was so fibrous & chewy. The special fried rice was so full of all different kinds of meat that it was like a meal in itself. With 10 different dishes it would have been better to serve plain white rice. Felt service could been better for 18% service already added on bill. Tea was even charged. Had to ask for menu at cashier & was told already at table, asked for waiter so we can order, had to ask for water, spoons & forks or to have some serving plates taken away to have more space at table. There were few waiters & feel that they were not attentive and restaurant was not even busy. Even parking lot was not full but there was courtesy valet parking & girl was insisting on parking the cars even though several cars was starting to line up. I would never recommend or return to this place again. Just disappointed that my guests did not enjoy the food as well.

The place was bustling for a good reason. You must try their seafood of course, its in the name. But especially the house special lobster noodles. The plate was ginormous and could feed up to 10+ people. Flavors were all there too. I also had the red cod for $50/pound. While it was good, the cod costed $150 and didn't have much meat. Top notch service.

Heard about how popular this place is so came with parents for mother's day weekend for dinner…read more There was already a line outside at 6:30pm and they have a tablet outside to add yourself to the waitlist, which is very convenient. And they have some chairs for people waiting. The wait wasn't too bad, around 25 minutes or so and they text you when the table is ready. They have a very nice interior design and not that many tables inside, but they do a good job of serving food fast so the wait times aren't bad despite the small space. There is a ipad at your table once seated so you can directly send your order to the kitchen instead waiting for the waiter. We got the Wagyu Beef Chinese Burger, Kurobuta Pork and Crab Meat Soup Dumplings, Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings, Stir Fried Noodles w Angus Beef, Dry Pot Cauliflower, and Sweet and Sour Kurobuta Pork Ribs. The waiters here were friendly and attentive, giving extra napkins and refilling our water cups often. The food was served in like ten minutes which is fast. I liked the Wagyu Chinese burger the most since the beef is stir fried very well and seasoned very flavorfully. It is just pricey for the size. The soup dumplings were all pretty good with good meat quality and dumpling skin. Each soup dumpling order only comes with 8 which isn't too bad for the price. The cauliflower and stir fried noodles were both pretty good too, very flavorful. The porb ribs were just average though and pricey for only 8 pieces that are not very big. The flakey beef rolls are also very good. Comes with four per order and the meat quality and skin was just perfect. Overall, this is a pretty good spot for soup dumplings and noodles, and I highly recommend the Wagyu Chinese burger. The portions are a bit small for the price but the food quality is good. I can see why there is always a line outside. Their service is also great and fast. I liked how they help pack your leftovers to-go for you. Will come back again!

It was about 15min wait time. Inside, they had the AC pretty high so it was kind of cold. You order yourself using their tablet already on the tablet. Servers are quick, providing good service. We ordered several dishes: -wagyu beef burger ($15.98): only 2 halves but very juicy and tender beef (5/5) -beef wrap ($12.98): comes with 4 pieces and filled with lots of beef, not greasy with crispy outside (5/5) -soup dumplings ($15.98-$17.98): price ranges depend on the filling with lots of soup inside (5/5) -XO sauce stir fried green beans ($14.98): decent portion but nothing spectacular (3/5) -steamed vegetable dumplings ($0.99): was part of their Mother's Day special. The sauce was rich, slightly tangy, and baked perfectly into the rice. I swear I only come here just for the baked tomato rice and getting chicken was a nice surprise because I usually would get it with the pork chops. SO GOOOOOD. The braised tofu with mushrooms and broccoli was also really solid. It's comforting and really well seasoned. Brick toast was really good too. Crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside, exactly how it should be!!! The only thing was the pear chicken soup that was a whopping $12.99 for a smalllll bowl. It tasted delicious but the price was not worth it for how small the portion size was I really love this spot so much. The bread was so soft, buttery, and perfectly toasted! The chicken in there was also cooked to perfection. Last time, I got the pineapple porch chop bun The staff was also really efficient (expected nothing less).

We were…read moreable to call ahead earlier in the morning and ask if we could be on the wait list or reserve a table. They told us they could reserve a table for us at 6pm. We originally were hoping for 7 or 7:30, but based on how busy and popular this place is I can see why they said no. Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. We ordered one of the set menus for our party of 7 and it was spot on! As you can see in the pictures we had all the "classics". Our set meal could easily be enjoyed by at least 10 people. We had so many leftovers! The food was all well prepared and sufficiently seasoned. Portions of each dish was plentiful and everyone will be able to get enough to satisfy. My favorite items: lobster (duh!), kung pao chicken, pork chops, and shaking beef. The seafood soup is a great starter, and don't forget to add a little vinegar and pepper! Great restaurant in the SGV. This location is much bigger than their Rowland Heights restaurant, but the food is exactly the same. This is a great alternative to the popular Newport Seafood, so don't sleep on this place!

Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.
