Lee Bidy Shop was one of the options I was given by my insurance company. I looked at several different companies and Lee's got consistently great reviews. They were well deserved! I spoke to John and he set up an appointment for me the same day. They repaired my car quickly (unlike other body shops in the past who have kept my car for an excessive amount of time...until the rental car $$$ was about to run out). The repairs were done very well. John was really helpful when I was picking my car up to make sure I got all of my items out of the rental car. And even helped me look for my I-pass when I couldn't find it. I would definitely take my car here in the future and highly recommended them. read more

I am working for a non-profit agency in the Aurora area. I brought a company vehicle to this shop to get an estimate on removing some graffiti. I was helped by John Haskell, and he looked at the damage on the vehicle. He gave me a printed estimate of $907.59. Being in the body shop business, John appeared to be an honest man working in our community. I took the vehicle for a 2nd estimate, at C&J Auto Care and was amazed to see the preparedness of C&J as he came to my office with a spray bottle. Upon assessing the damage, C&J sprayed the graffiti, and it was gone within seconds! In addition to wiping away the graffiti, C&J also offered to wax the car to make it look similar to its previous condition. I was charged only $70.00 for the graffiti removal and wax. I originally came to Lee's Body Shop because I was under the impression they had the knowledge and experience to assist with my needs. C&J Auto Care is not a body shop, but they had better expertise and were much more honest about the labor costs to fix my vehicle. The quality of work succeeded my expectations! Lee's Body Shop is full of con-artists trying to take advantage of naive customers. Charging $700 in labor when the entire project took an hour, tops is ridiculous. It appeared to me that they were trying to make easy money off the hard working people of Aurora who work in non-profit. read more

These guys are top of the line SCAM artists. I took my vehicle in to be repaired and they charged my insurance company for all the work they did NOT do. When I noticed something was wrong, I contacted the owner to ask why my car was riddled with fish eyes and told him that I was taking the vehicle into an accredited Mercedes Benz Body shop, Wizard Werks, he urged me not to and recommended that I bring the vehicle back. He stated there was a new painter and that they would buff the fish eyes. Would you bring your car back!? I had no interest in expanding on the damage to my vehicle. Wizard Werks was able to determine that the vehicle was not prepped properly prior to painting. If I were given bran new parts, I should have seen a manufacturer smooth finish, not a car riddled with fish eyes, misaligned headlights, an unsecure bumper/grill along with mismatched paint. What bothers me the most is that Lee's Body Shop found their work to be acceptable. No ethical accountability whatsoever let alone courtesy for their consumers. read more

I've worked with John on multiple occasions (unfortunately), as have most of my family members, and none of us have ever had anything but a great experience.
