A scam with endless hidden fees before you arrive. I initially booked a windshield replacement…read morethrough Safelite for my 2021 Lexus NX 300 (base model) and was quoted $472.22. Once the appointment was finalized, the total quietly increased by $39.99 for a recycling fee to dispose of the existing glass, something that should have been disclosed upfront. If you're replacing a windshield, it's obvious there's already one in place, so the lack of transparency here feels deceptive and intentional. To make matters worse, I received a follow-up email claiming I now needed to pay an additional $495 for ADAS recalibration, bringing the new total to $1,045.96. My vehicle does not have windshield-mounted sensors or a front-facing camera, yet they insisted recalibration was mandatory or they wouldn't repair it. I even confirmed with my dealership. This is a classic money grab, adding hidden fees and pushing unnecessary services on customers who may not realize what their vehicle does or doesn't require. I ended up going elsewhere and paid significantly less without the bogus charges. Disappointing experience overall. Safelite should do better by being honest and upfront, not relying on sneaky tactics to inflate costs.

Last week, I scheduled my windshield to be replaced. I showed up for my appt and was told that I had the wrong glass. In my opinion, this could have been avoided if they had better customer service and if I would have been able to speak to someone over the phone while scheduling. The employee who told me it was the wrong glass then proceeded to order me another glass and told me to come back today. I came back today for my appt, took off work, and took an uber back home. 30 min later I get a call saying that the glass is still the wrong glass and I have to schedule again. Not only did I waste the morning for a 2nd time and have to arrange early pickup, but the employee who had confirmed my service and who was here this morning was nowhere to be found, so I didn't even receive an apology. I have used Safelite for many years prior to this experience, but after today, I will not be using them in the future.

Not necessarily a really nice place, like the dealerships where it's comfortable with fake leather seating and choices of fresh brewed coffee by machines, but there were plenty of seats, though a lot of customers (was 3-4pm) but the guy I was greeted with was very helpful in every way - no BS Anna's to the point. This is not the Beverly Hills Rolls Royce dealership, it's a windshield repair and replacement shop! My chip and small crack was deemed to be very minor and he recommended that I don't do the repair as it could last a month or the lifetime of the car. Since I have coverage, he said that if needed, windshield replacement is covered by insurance so just schedule another appointment later when needed. But if I really wanted to, I could still do the repair and or replacement. I decided against the repair and will come back later per his suggestion, which saved me time and maybe some money too. Since I got great advice and saved allot of time, I'm more than happy on the 4 stars. And will come back when I am back in the area and need to do windshield work on my car. Also, since it is wintertime right now, service at your site might be iffy due to weather and availability (there were allot of customers at this location, and it's winter). I'll be back for sure!

I called the store and was assured a tech would still be out even if it was after the window of time they gave me. Ok- cool. No problem. Then the Rep put me on hold to get ahold of the tech only to get back on the line and tell me a tech was never sent out for my work order and it's now too late in the day to have someone come out. I called back to reschedule and was told "well you should've called after you didn't hear from anyone." Dude what? Lol Rescheduled with a different location at a later date.
