I made the mistake of trying a new place for a brakes job. The bill was over $900 for front brakes…read moreand pads!?!? That was with a 20% off coupon. Then 4 months later the brakes were bad again. They replaced them free of charge. This time it only lasted a year. I didn't give Belle another chance. I went to my regular place I trust and have gone to for many years. The same brake job was done there for $300. They couldn't even identify the cheap brake pads I got from Bel Air in the photo attached. Side note, Belle told me I also needed a new headlamp, but it was just loose and I could tell and fixed it in a minute. Stay clear of this place, they can't be trusted.

A scam with endless hidden fees before you arrive. I initially booked a windshield replacement…read morethrough Safelite for my 2021 Lexus NX 300 (base model) and was quoted $472.22. Once the appointment was finalized, the total quietly increased by $39.99 for a recycling fee to dispose of the existing glass, something that should have been disclosed upfront. If you're replacing a windshield, it's obvious there's already one in place, so the lack of transparency here feels deceptive and intentional. To make matters worse, I received a follow-up email claiming I now needed to pay an additional $495 for ADAS recalibration, bringing the new total to $1,045.96. My vehicle does not have windshield-mounted sensors or a front-facing camera, yet they insisted recalibration was mandatory or they wouldn't repair it. I even confirmed with my dealership. This is a classic money grab, adding hidden fees and pushing unnecessary services on customers who may not realize what their vehicle does or doesn't require. I ended up going elsewhere and paid significantly less without the bogus charges. Disappointing experience overall. Safelite should do better by being honest and upfront, not relying on sneaky tactics to inflate costs.

I scheduled an at-home visit based on the information on the website, which stated that cracks…read moreunder 6 inches could be filled. My crack was within this limit, as I had measured it. However, the technician who arrived the next day claimed the crack was too large to be filled. I have home security cameras and observed that the technician merely glanced at the crack before leaving. This was quite frustrating, as I needed the crack repaired promptly to prevent it from worsening. Keep in mind I also paid $158 for this service and was not REFUNDED. Consequently, I contacted the Berwyn shop to have my entire window replaced. Technician David handled the replacement and did an excellent job, providing clear instructions on post-replacement care, including how long to wait before washing the car. While I probably wouldn't recommend this company overall, as it feels like the Walmart of window replacements, I must say that David was excellent in his service. Technician is not at fault
