Definitely recommend! My wiper cracked my windshield in 6 places and since my insurance denied the claim, I had to replace it on my own. I found Viper glass on yelp and let me tell you......they are the best!!!!! Very responsive and polite. They came and replaced the windshield while I was at work. Seamless job and super clean! They even cleaned my car mats! I am super impressed. The second day, we had heavy rain. No leaks , no issues ! They are very price competitive and much better than any franchise out there! You won't regret hiring these guys!

Excellent service and great prices! Gave me the best quote out of all the shops I called and had next day availability. They were able to replace my windshield in under an hour. My hood had flown open on the freeway and smashed my windshield. They really went above and beyond, and offered to do a quick fix on my hood latch until I can get a mechanic to replace it. Didn't even charge me extra for that. Did a great job cleaning the glass out of my car too. I would highly recommend them for their service, responsiveness, and prices.

I had a broken tailgate glass and asked a couple of quotes on yelp, German from Viper replied very fast and give a very good price, based on the number of the reviews, I scheduled appointment with him. He arrived with his van, did a very professional job, but one of the parts on the truck accidently broken. He assured me that he will take care of it, a couple of days later, he found the parts, drove to my house and get it fixed swiftly, voluntarily gave me some discount. I think that Mr. German is an very professional and honest person, he really cared about the business and clients. Highly recommended. read more

Thanks to the craziness of the Dan Ryan Expy, the windshield on my Honda Civic got a chip. That chip then turned into a small crack, which then spread into the width of the entire windshield, needing a replacement. I am pretty protective over my car and want to ensure I get the best service, so I did some research and came across Viper Auto Glass. I called them and they answered right away and were very quick to give a quote, which was very reasonable compared to a couple other quotes I received. They were able to slot me in for a next-day appointment, which was perfect, as I feared the glass cracking even further. It's also super convenient that they come to you - a mobile service! Viper Auto Glass texted me when they were on the way so I knew to be ready. They called right before arrival, which they arrived promptly, about 10 minutes prior to the appointment time. There were two guys who carefully got the windshield ready for installation. They unpackaged and cleaned the new windshield, then it was time to take my broken windshield off. They had all the tools to make it a seamless experience. They removed the trim pieces, then the windshield. Once the windshield was removed, then cleaned the surrounding area and applied the glue. They then placed the new windshield on, and reattached all my trim. They also gave me the option of adjusting my windshield wipers, if I wanted, but I opted against it, but that was definitely a nice bonus service. On top of this, while one guy installed my windshield, the other cleaned my floor mats, windows, and mirrors. It's really full service! Once the windshield was in place, they gave it a fresh wipe down and reattached all my items that I had mounted to the windshield, including my I-Pass, stereo microphone, dash cam, and rear view mirror. Viper Auto Glass truly goes above and beyond, and I HIGHLY recommend them for windshield replacements. read more

They came out to our house when they said they would, did an efficient yet meticulous job replacing our windshield and making sure everything was clean and pretty. Viper Auto Glass replaced my windshield today. They were responsive, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. I'd left some expired parking stickers on the old windshield and they saved them for me, just in case. They left my dashboard and steering wheel cleaner than it was when they arrived. My mom's car got broken into. Right around the Christmas holiday season. With a broken window and a stolen tire at 5AM we were desperately waiting for shops to open to remedy the damage. Got a couple quotes some reasonable some not so much. The earliest someone could come out was after Christmas, that left my mom windowless for four days. I messaged Viper Auto Glass and German got back to me within minutes. When we got on the phone he was willing to come out same day in the rain! We agreed for him to come out next day early in the morning. Nine in the dot he was here. The staff is very humble and now a days when corporations are taking over the economy, it felt great to know I was supporting a small business. Work was done in less than an hour, they left my mom's car spotless from broken glass and he asked me to look over the work done and made sure I had no additional questions. He even went as far as to offer assistance if he knew of anyone that could help us with the tire. If that's not going above and beyond for your customer, I don't know what is. read more

Our windshield cracked and I found Viper Auto through excellent Yelp and Google reviews - they are all correct. Germain and his assistant came out and within 45 minutes or so had a brand new windshield installed on my car. Paid him on the spot and it looks as good as new. He's also very responsive. I would recommend them to anyone who needs glasswork done for their car. Completely fair and transparent pricing, no gimmicks, etc. He gives you a quote, comes out and fixes within an hour. read more

These guys are awesome. We had a cracked windshield on Dec. 31 last year and they came out in lousy weather--after three other services told us they were either done for the day or not interested in the work--and fixed it in what seemed like five minutes. German and Juan are men among boys when it comes to auto glass repair. They were incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. And the quality of the work was great. Less than 24 hours after the windshield was fixed, the car was on its way to Minneapolis (with a driver, of course) and battled through rain, sleet and snow to get there--and the windshield stood its ground. If I could, I would crack my front windshield once a month so I could hire Viper more often. read more

We had to get our windshield replaced after a couple cracks. German was very quick to respond to my request for a quote. Which was right on the dot, no hidden fees or extra taxes added on. He communicated with me quickly throughout the whole process. I even needed to move our appointment last minute and he was very understanding. I received a call the very minute I was going to leave my house for my 8am appointment (mind you, it's an hour away), that my repair couldn't be handled at that location. Very frustrating. This ends well, however, because I was able to have my windshield replaced at this Morton Grove location. And before I could get cracked windshield #3, I sold the car. TLDR: lots of back and forth to get windshield repaired. Also, cost of windshield was $2500, so you can understand why I wanted to go through insurance and use Safelite. Also: trucks and landscape trucks driving on Edens without covers = bad.

I said "do you think this is funny" and he said "yeah". I was warned to stay away from Safelite and I realize now why. Totally unprofessional.

After an epic hail storm broke my van's windshield I called to get a quote from Viper Auto Glass. Since German's quote was considerably less than all the others I had, I booked an appointment for the next day. German was pleasant and attentive on the phone, and when he showed up at my house the next day he was ready with a smile, and all of the proper equipment to do the job right. In addition to doing an efficient job for a good price German cleaned the dashboard, so my car looked better than when he arrived. Viper Auto glass replaced my windshield a few weeks ago. They did an excellent job. We talked on the phone a few times and set up an appointment at my home. They called me about fifteen minutes before the scheduled time to let me know that they were on the way. I had some concerns about about the rear view mirror assembly, which has a camera in it. They had told me it could be a problem when the camera was disconnect, but 90 % believed it wouldn't be a problem. I had removed the assembly and when they installed the assembly and reconnected it, it worked perfectly. I would highly recommend Viper Auto glass to anyone who needs a windshield replaced. Needed to replace the windshield on my Ford van, for the second time since purchasing it in 2016. I found these guys here on YELP. German, the owner responded very quickly, was on time for the appointment, and came in at least $100 lower than the big chains. The crack occured in April-2022, I got some quotes from the large chains, but they were more than double when I had this done in 2018. The large crack was slowly growing, and I wanted to get it taken care of before winter hit. Odds are, if I keep the Van for another 4 - 5 years, I will be hiring German again. So my windshield got hit by a tiny rock on Lake Shore Dr and before I knew it the small hairline crack was close to 24" When I contacted VAG (lol) the gentleman I spoke with got back to me within minutes with a quote of $495 and he will come the next day and install the windshield. which was a lot cheaper than I've been quoted from BMW and safelite. The next day he did show up on time and the job was done within 2 hours...AMAZING! My X2 with rain sensor windshield is complete again thanks to VAG......lol Great prices with exceptional work, I will always use you guys. read more

Viper was so easy and wonderful to work with! They responded to my messages quickly, were knowledgeable, and fast. Most importantly, the price they quoted me was the actual end price! As a woman, it's so important that I feel safe when it comes to things/spaces that are male-oriented. I felt very secure and cared for. Excellent front windshield replacement by Viper Auto Glass, just under a week ago. German was a pleasure to work with; fair pricing, flexible on schedule, very courteous and professional. He came to our house to replace the windshield. He also disinfected the car after he finished the work, a nice touch. My windshield got dinged by a rock last week, and by Wednesday morning it had turned into a significant crack. Contacted German Wednesday morning, and he had it replaced by Friday! Other companies couldn't even give me an estimate by Friday, and that was only if I brought the car to them to do the estimate. Highly highly recommend them!! They were prompt, reliable, quick, and professional experts. They were able to come out the same day my windshield broke and replaced it in under an hour. They even caught an error done by the previous company who replaced my windshield and corrected it. A great value especially considering all the above they did. We couldn't be happier with Viper Auto and German's team's service. Our rear windshield suffered an impact and was on the verge of hundreds of pieces. Got a huge crack in my windshield and Safelite wanted over a $1000 to fix it. I found Viper Auto Glass and got an AMAZING deal. German is amazing and the fact that he's mobile is also great! It took maybe an hour for my windshield to be replaced, and they even cleaned my car mats. German is highly intelligible and answered all of my many questions.
