Their work is good but their communication is less than stellar. They didn't let me know when my car went into repair and I had to keep calling them for progress reports. Then when I came to pick up my car when they said it'd be ready- it wasn't. The owner was really nice and went out of his way to accommodate me at the end though. If it wasn't for everyone being nice in the office I would give one star. Just got my car back after over a month in the shop for hail damage and there are circular scratches on my roof from the PDR. Both Gerry and Bonnie were so pleasant and easy to work with. Gerry was very detailed on explanations and helped so much in dealing with the insurance company. Bonnie kept me consistently updated on the progress of my vehicle. The repairs done on my car were superb and after they also detailed it, at no extra cost, the car looks brand new! stay away from countryside customes!!! we now have 2700.00 of repairs to our car that was clearly due to there fault! they will not pay even though jeff was told by bmw that the damage was due to a gasket that was missing on the part they replaced!we had our bmw fully detailed along with replacing some parts ( for cosmetic reasons only) initially we had returned our car there for a few minor issues we needed to be attended to, but we were overall happy, our bill was 2500.00.after three months of having our car back with some heavy rain our electronics stopped working. we took our car to bmw who informed us that our trunk was full of water due to the gaskets on the part they replaced had been removed and not reinstalled!! bmw said there was no other reasons those gaskets would of disappeared other then when they replaced the roof trim! jeff told matt from bmw that it would be bmws fault for not providing the gaskets when he order the replacement part! bmw have put in writing that there is no other way these gaskets went missing other then be removed! clearly there was only one company that worked on that part since we bought it in 2008 and that is countryside customes!!! jeffs response to me when i asked to speak to the owner was ( the owner does not want to talk to me) and when i said i was going to take him to court jeff said ( good luck proving we did it!!! ) read more

I'm so thankful for this place and Jeff. I was in an accident and having a really difficult time dealing with the insurance and he made the process as smooth as possible and fought on my behalf. They go above and beyond on their work/repairs. I had a scratch on the side of my car that wasn't related to my accident and they fixed it no charge. They also detail the car before you pick it up. Almost forgot they arranged my rental car to be a similar model to mine instead of the standard economy car. I can't say how happy I am with their service. Well, I picked up the truck Friday and the repair was mediocre. The gap between the panel that was replaced and the window was clearly, visibly wider than the original when compared to the other side. I could fit my finger into the gap. I asked them to line it up better and they made an attempt and said it is because of the panel, not the installation. Eh. Whatever. It was supposed to be genuine GM parts, should't it fit the same? Or at least well? The GOOD part was they are polite (for the most part) and they did clean the vehicle inside and out very nicely.The 'rental car' issue is still not resolved so I am keeping my fingers crossed they don't jack me too much for that since it's not my choice that they had my car from 5/29 until 6/20! Totally recommend Countryside Customs. I too had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff and Steve. Recently I slowly..... slid into the back of a SUV with my 2010 Camaro smashing up my front spoiler. I was devasted. I belong to the Illinois Camaro Club and several of the members have used Countryside Customs and always rave about their work so the decision was easy. With never being in an accident before I had no idea how this works, I took my beautiful car there the next day. I went into the office and Jeff was there smiling and ready to help out. We walked out to the car and Jeff took over. I broke down and this man was about as sympathetic as could good be. It felt good to hear that "it's not as bad as you think" and "as long as you're okay that's all that matters" Jeff checked my spoiler and explained how it will be repaired and vowed my car will be back to it's original glory. We went back into the shop Jeff wrote up the estimate and explained everything to me in detail of how this whole process is done from the estimate to dealing with the insurance and doing the repairs. Jeff was truly patient with me and answered all my questions and I wasn't crying anymore !!! I had to get some fender damage repaired through my insurance. I selected Countryside Customs because a family member recommended them. They did a great job on the repair. More importantly their service was outstanding in that they arranged for a rental for me, stayed open late so i could drop off my car as well as pick it up without having to take time off from my job (i commute downtown daily), kept me informed of where they were in the claim and repair process, had my van done on time, and delivered it to me in immaculate condition - vacuumed and cleaned the interior! I can't even pay my kids to do that... Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the repair and the claim process. When i picked up my van, the shop owner was there to ensure i was satisfied with the work and to answer any questions. While the fender damage was not pleasant, the repair process was great thanks to these guys! I highly recommend them. read more
