Great communication from beginning of inspection, recommendation and estimation of resolving the issues. Fair pricing and great quality work performed. Very courteous and knowledgeable staff with professional customer care. Was very comfortable with my experience in working with them. Highly recommended if you feel intimidated by other shops you have worked with or considered. Josh and the staff are very friendly to deal with. read more

Truly above and beyond work! Not only did I drop in after 2pm but they were able to install my factory wiring harness beautifully the same day! Amazing communication all day and A+ service. I will absolutely be going back! read more

No response... perhaps my project is not interesting to them but at least respond. Or it could be yelp is so expensive for leads they don't want to. Either way sort it out for better response / service. read more

Great customer service and very polite when deciding on what type of lift kit I should get for my Jeep

I usually only give bad reviews because I feel and see very poor quality work in all different trades. I'm honestly disappointed and have truly no idea how people stay in business. Randy, Brian and his team at Wildside just get it done right. They bring light back to the trades. Im just so pleased with everything they done so far. My Rubicon JT has a lot done so far and much more to do. They got 2 phases done with some minor complications due to item coming in damaged or missing a part in the a set. Phase 1, I was informed of 2 speakers damaged from the set so they put in something temporary so at least I can enjoy the upgrade. Phase 2, I had some adaptor that was supposed to be in the kit and fresh out the box came in short. With in these 2 phases they got so much more done which I would need to write a book about. They are just great people with great personalities. Truly raised with integrity, pride, love and passion for their trade. We need more businesses like theirs. Thank you Wildside for making me love my JT again. P.S. I will upload photos when complete unless Randy beats me to it lol. read more

Need ANY work done on your Jeep? Looking for reasonable prices and a team with PHD level knowledge of your precious rig? Look no further! Words cannot express how satisfied I am with the work done at Wildside. Before discovering Wildside, I had window shopped other shops closer to me in the NW suburbs. All of them were making me hesitant to let them work on my Jeep. Some of them were asking for an arm and a leg, others weren't knowledgable about Jeep basics, and NONE were hospitable or passionate/enthusiastic about helping me determine the right setup.. I felt like I was shopping around at Used Car Dealership. Once I connected with Wildside Jeep Customs, I knew I made the right choice. I DROVE AN HOUR AND HALF just because of this gem of a place. And I would do it again and again.. Staff: Brian was quick to accommodate my jeep. They were in constant communication with me to make sure I had everything I needed to make my dream mod come true. Dan was the primary mechanic to work on my Jeep. When I had ordered the parts for my lift, Kevin found cheaper prices (under retail) that saved me hundreds of dollars. I never had to hesitate to reach out to him (even after shop hours) and he was always ready to help. The man has a gift. I finally had the peace of mind knowing my jeep was in good hands. Dan and Kevin are geniuses with their Jeep knowledge and skill. He knows how to treat your baby. Words cannot say enough for how thankful I was to have him work on my jeep. You wouldn't trust a nobody with your baby....think of them as a team of neurosurgeons when it comes to Jeeps!!!! They even worked after shop hours because of how passionate he is working on Jeeps. These are the kind of people you want to work with. THANK YOU GUYS! TLDR; Modding a Jeep is fun, but. It's not the kind of work you want to hand over to any shop. Looking for peace of mind, quality work, reasonable proces, and a staff that works night and day to leave you content? Jeep Wildside Customs is the shop for you. read more

I just had a 3.5" lift put on my 2018 JLU. These guys did an awesome job, I couldn't be more satisfied with how it turned out. The pricing was more than fair. They pass on discounted pricing for all the parts, everything including the TeraFlex lift, wheels, tires, computer chip, etc. was all invoiced to me below retail and I didn't have to haggle with them at all. They make their money on the labor and the rate is very fair. No upselling on parts. Service was amazing. Kevin followed me home and we pulled over a few miles from the shop where he climbed under my Jeep to make some minor adjustments to the steering (so I wouldn't need to come back). This was at 6:30 on a Friday night.... its rare to find guys that care this much about the quality of their work. I couldn't recommend Wildside enough. read more

Awesome service! Randy walked me through the whole process, which resulted in my Jeep being modified to my liking and within my budget. I am very happy with the results. It appears from my results and what I saw with some of the other projects in the shop that these guys can do just about anything with a Jeep. read more

John, Kevin and the crew kicked ass! Very professional, fast and fun to work with. Gear heads, artists and custom Jeep experts through and through. They really care about their work. I will use them for sure moving forward. I had my 2016 JK Rubicon upgraded with a 2.5" Teraflex lift with 1" front spring spacers. 1.25" wide wheel spacers. Fuel wheels. 35 coopers. Teraflex HD complete spare tire carrier. NEMESIS Fender flairs and Artec inner liners. They also blinged out my spare tire brake light to an XKGlow light ring. Looks amazing. These guys are the real deal. read more

I'm a repeat customer and I don't have much else to say other than these guys are just flat out awesome. Both times Randy had suggested ways to upgrade items on the Jeep where I would immediately feel the vehicle driving/riding smoother upon leaving the shop and he's been spot on each time! Thanks again guys! read more

Can't say enough on how helpful Randy has been with everything from the first time we spoke all the way till I was driving off the lot. Always keeping me in the loop with everything and having a lot of insight on what routes I could take. Couldn't be happier with the results and the amount of quality customer service I have received from Wildside has been second to none. They have earned a loyal customer after this 1st experience! read more

If you need anything done to your Jeep, these are the guys to call. They previously completed our lift and new wheels. This time they replaced the radiator and did a great job. They also warned us about some other problems we need to have checked. Did not try to sell us on anything, just let us know. Super friendly and honest work! We will be back for anything else the Jeep needs! read more

I rarely post reviews but felt strongly to do so given the great job the team did. Shout out to Kevin who was excellent and hooked up a winch, front bumper, rear bumper, aux lights and other new toys for my Gladiator. They finished the job through a snowstorm and were very professional and communicative throughout. Nice to see the work in progress with pics and videos, helped make decisions on the fly and gave me piece of mind. Will be back for more mods. Thanks guys! read more

Stay away from Wildside Jeep Customs!! They do unscrupulous business and try to use their knowledge to charge you for addition things. They will preform a "full inspection" in which they will find things which they claim are "broken". They use the asymmetry of mechanical knowledge to cheat their customers. Also, Wildside is dishonest with the status of your Jeep. When I arrived to pick up my Jeep on the agreed upon day (we confirmed the night before) it turned out that very little of the work had been completed. Not only was the work incomplete, but the staff didn't even to bother and let me know that my Jeep would not be ready. As I tried to better understand the situation, two of the workers began to accost me saying it was my fault for coming in on the agreed upon time and that I should've waited for them to reach out... Furthermore, they are incentivized to sell you parts which may or may not be a good fit for your vehicle. They recommended a sound system for my car (which I purchased per their recommendation) only to find out it was not the correct system for my car. Anyways, I am writing this so other people can avoid getting ripped off by this unscrupulous business. Stay away from Wildside Jeep Customs!! read more

If you own a Jeep Wrangler and need some work done I highly recommend Wildside. John and Cody know everything there is to know about Jeeps with over 25 years experience. They can do everything from performance and suspension to the little upgrades you always wanted. Cody reached out to me while building the suspension and exhaust that he noticed my brakes needed work. They were able to fix the brakes as well. Plain and simple give them a call it's well worth it!!! read more

Went to Cody to do a small lift on my 2019 Wrangler and he was super responsive, gave good guidance/advice and fitted the lift quickly and at a reasonable price. Will go to him again for other bits I want done and would recommend to anyone looking for mods to be done by someone they can trust. read more

John was awesome! I have a 3 inch teraflex lift installed on my Jeep and I was experiencing a clunking noise in the right rear of the Jeep that had gone undiagnosed by another shop for over a year. John threw my Jeep on the lift and he gave it a full blown inspection -- We probably spent a good 2-3 hours going over the Jeep. John was very thorough and informative. Long story longer, he diagnosed the issue and fixed it FREE OF CHARGE. John is a good guy. He will definitely get my business going forward for all things Jeep related. Highly recommend his services. read more

Kevin is awesome! I echo the review that said, Kevin is an electrical genius!!!! I went to Wildside Jeep customs to have a subwoofer/amp combo installed in my Jeep Wrangler, it was supposed to go under one of the seats, but the way the Jeeps are made now, they have a vent under the front two seats and the back two seats drop down when folded down, but Kevin made it work and the sub is still completely hidden and I have full use of my trunk space! Kevin is all about customer service and ensuring the customer is happy, he listens to your request and fulfills them as well as he is transparent and will let you know if anything needs to be changed from what was discussed. He did such an amazing job!!! Thank you Kevin! I also met John the owner, and he is also a really good guy! Wildside Jeep custom is the best, I got to see a lot of their custom work and all I can say is you can't go wrong bringing your Jeeps here! read more

I can't say enough positive things about Wildside Jeep! I am not a jeep or an audio guru and needed some help in how to upgrade the audio system for my 2020 Jeep Wrangler. I worked directly with Kevin and from providing multiple production suggestions to working to get us scheduled quickly I could not be happier with the process or the outcome. Wildside was recommended to me by a friend and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone else for any jeep related services they provide. Great service and extremely responsive and helpful from start to finish! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Wildside Jeep Customs. I have been considering putting a lift and tires on my Jeep for about 3 years and when I finally decided to do so I started googling Jeep shops in the area and found Wildside. I sent them an email asking a few questions and had a response right away as well as a call from the owner John with some advice on parts, he also encouraged me to come in and take a look at the shop and test drive a vehicle before making any decisions. When I got to the shop it was quickly apparent that John and Kelly are first class individuals that treat you like you are their only customer. I never felt any pressure to make any modifications beyond what I was looking to do. John and Kelly showed me all of the options that were available to me and helped me create my idea of a Dream Jeep. Throughout the entire process they answered any and all questions I had and Kelly was a trooper bearing with me though all my last minute changes! Also, special thanks to Michael Chrysty for top quality work and attention to detail on the final product. Three major takeaways from the experience: 1. Do it right the first time, listen to John's advice 2. Don't think twice about the Mickey Thompson Tires, they are unreal and you won't be disappointed! (I was a skeptic until the test drive and seeing them in person) 3. If you can, go for the Powdercoat Suspension, it really gives the Jeep a custom look and will separate you from the pack! I will be a repeat customer for sure. Thanks again. read more

I came in and consulted with Cody about a suspension lift for my 2014 jku. He was very knowledgeable and I was very conveniently able to leave my vehicle with them for the installation while I was out of town. Upon receiving my vehicle I met John the owner who was great. John related that he noticed that my factory tire carrier was cracked and since he had some extras he installed one gratis. I was more than impressed with the treatment I received. Solid and friendly guys there all the way around. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Can't speak highly enough about John and his crew at Wildside.  I went there for 2.5 Teraflex coil lift because I was looking to get rid of the rake and add some after market bumpers.  I wasn't planning on getting bumpers that day but John had some really nice Teraflex bumpers in stock so he added those to the Jeep.  He also ended up putting on some very bright LED lights on both the front and rear bumpers and hooked them up to inside with an A-pillar. John has a really nice and clean shop that looks well run.  Him and his crew are very friendly and professional. The work they do is extremely well done...no cutting corners and taking the time to make sure that everything is done right the first time only time. You can tell that they enjoy working on Jeeps from the attention to details on their modifications. John is always willing to work with you and will be straight forward on any modifications that you want to do. He'll steer you in the right direction so that you'll get the best out of what you're looking for. I plan on doing more work with John in the near future and will keep this post updated. Highly recommend Wildside for any kind of work large or small. read more

John is super knowledgeable with Jeeps and always looks after the best interest of the customer. I've gotten my brakes repaired along with new shocks installed. John also hosts his own Jeep meet every year as well that I'm trying to make it to one of these years. I was referred to Wildside by a good car friend of mine and I will cut right to the chase, stop wasting your time and money elsewhere. They're transparent with your bill, they do excellent work, and they will price you out for whatever caliber of build/parts that you need for your jeep. I have never had this level of care and attention given to my Jeep before, and given all they do is jeeps, I was extremely impressed and reassured of their capabilities. Cody and Mike we're who I had the pleasure of working with on some front end steering and death wobble issues. If you're in need of some simple maintenance or it's time to take your Jeep to the next level, get an appointment with Wildside today! read more

I would not Recommend this shop to Anyone. Poor Quality work and over priced. Charged 300% OVER MSRP for Parts. He wanted to keep my Old Carburetor when I said no he got mad and put a hole through it with a Screw Driver & Hammer. Then had the nerve to call me and tell me. Totally Unprofessional. I ended up having to fix my bike my self. BEWARE!!! Go Some where else!!!! read more

I took my JL to have a lift kit installed, John and his guys were knowledgeable, right on target with the labor and rate, and did an excellent job on the install. As a mechanic for over 40 years, I would reccomend Wildside to anyone looking to have a lift kit installed. Could have done it myself but John's quote for the install was more than fair and I'm more than happy with the results. I would definitely reccomend you give Wildside a call before you decide to have aftermarket products installed on your jeep! read more

Kevin did an incredible job fixing my Jeep Cherokee. Before finding WildSide Jeep Customs, I tried another 3 places. One of them, no confidence at all. The mechanic didn't have experience with jeep. The other 2 from dealers, I just asked (rip off, so I ran from them). After a long search I found WildSide, 1 hour from where I live, but I didn't mind. I value costumer service more then anything and Kevin gave me the best. He was prompt, and professional. Since the first call, I felt confidence in Kevin, even more when he opened my car and started to check the engine problem. In that moment, I knew I could trust to leave my car there. Kevin updated me with everything, sent photos, and explained the problem with he injector. He was clear about prices which is reasonable for the location. Kevin also returned my car at the same day we had scheduled. Now my car is better then ever and I can't describe how happy I am that I found you guys. Thank you so much to John the owner, incredible person who made me feel comfortable at his shop, and for having Kevin in the team. Any doubt that I will be back? Now I have trustful professionals to take care of my Jeep. I Highly recommend. read more

First off let me start out saying how great John was to work with. He's a great guy with a ton of knowledge, humor, and he's not going to screw you over. Him and his mechanic know a lot about Jeeps and provide great quality work at an affordable price! Most shops take forever to get repairs done but he had my jeep in and out in less than 24 hours and I had 3 things that needed done. I would highly recommend Wildside Motorsports! I have brought a few sleds in to get work done on them a few times now. I have a couple of snowmobiles that I had when I was a kid and wanted to keep them for my kids. Long story short, they needed quite a bit of work. Wildside was able to get them back up and running in a day! If you go to a dealer most likely it would take week or more. John and the guys at Wildside Motorsports are up front, straight up honest people to work with at a reasonable price. read more

I found an ad for this repair shop on craigslist.com, which seems fitting because I found the motorcycle and moped I needed repaired on craigslist as well. I also found several other ads for repair on the same site. I called them all, but no one picked up and I am one of those weird people that hates leaving messages. I hung up on all four. Only WildSide called me back, and I didn't even leave a message. I have to say that is it so refreshing to meet an owner that is hungry for business. He isn't desperate for business. He had a shop was full of all kinds of motorized things that needed repair when I visited my bike. He is HUNGRY for business, and there is a difference. They really want to work and not sit around while charging you 2 hours labor for something that takes 30 minutes. He didn't charge me storage fees when finding parts for my rare motorcycle took several weeks. He didn't charge me to come pick up my two bikes because I had no way of getting them to him. He also dropped them off and showed me how to ride the Honda scooter and how to start the motorcycle free of charge. He also showed me how to winterize both, free of charge. This is one of those guys that is in it because he likes what he does, and I really appreciate that he spent the extra time showing me how to instead of just dropping them at my doorstep and charging me for doing so. I never rode anything besides a car and a bicycle before I met John, and I told him that I knew absolutely nothing other than the carb needed cleaning on the Honda, only because I recently worked on a go kart. Strangely enough, he forgot to charge me for the carb cleaning at first, so he didn't charge me for it. He could have just added it on the bill as he was on the phone with me going through the costs, but he didn't. I value honesty, and I will definitely call him again as soon as I break something else. I'm about to call him about the go kart, too. I know he can fix them and I think I did something wrong. read more
