Updating my review. I spent $100 on mani and pedi and the manicure chipped in two days. Very disappointing.
Honestly one of the worst nail experiences of my life. First of all the owner told me I didn't need a new set when I told her I would like one. The owner did not do my nails, another woman did, and when she was filing down my nails I could see that it was lifting and needed to be replaced. She tried to convince me that it was just under my fingernail but that's impossible because the discoloration was in the middle of my nail. She eventually after huffing and puffing agreed to give me a new set after she ripped off an extension from my nail with no acetone. She treated my natural nails poorly, did not cut my cuticles, filed them down too much, did not offer to cut them until I said something, and when she did cut them she did an awful job. She fixed it once I said something and she saw me taking a picture - she had an attitude and told me to take a picture of the fixed nail. I did not. She then began attaching the gel x nails and well I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. One nail is crooked, there's gel stuck to my skin, and one nail isn't fit down to my cuticle. This all happened ten minutes ago and my nails are already lifting. I paid, did not tip, and do not recommend going to this salon. They are rude but more importantly they are not good at their job. The vibe is bad.
Went to Leann's for the first time and had a great experience. Everyone was very friendly. My boyfriend and I both got gel pedicures and are very satisfied.
I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience to prevent others from a similar experience. I just moved here and was looking for my new go-to nail salon. I went in for a Gel-X set with a thin French tip, done by Leann (presumably the owner). I've been getting my nails done for years, and this was one of the worst experiences I've had. Within five days, my left thumb nail became loose. The next day, the right thumb's French tip chipped, and the same day, the entire left thumb nail popped off. Also the filing and shape were uneven, plus it's clear that French tips are not her strength (See photos). I called to address the issues, but she immediately became defensive, claimed she hadn't done any Gel-X that week, and said she doesn't guarantee longevity--fair enough if the set had lasted two weeks, not barely one. For $90, I expected much better quality and service. She refused to offer any solution. On top of the poor work, she called her employee "stupid" and snapped at her, saying "What is wrong with you?", for making the simple mistake of getting the wrong shade of red. I feel that was unprofessional, mean, and was quite frankly uncomfortable to witness. I felt horrible for her employee and feel ashamed that I didn't say anything. Out of the entire negative experience, this part stuck with me the most. Despite scrolling throw numerous photos on yelp of perfectly manicured nails, with a high level of skill and quality, my experience, plus the fact that the salon was empty on a Sunday, makes me doubt their transparency and whether they were the artists responsible for the work in those pictures. I strongly advise avoiding this place to spare yourself the frustration and disappointment I went through. Feel free to scroll through my nails after only 7 days.
Stopped in on Saturday morning, conveniently Leann's was right by my hotel and was able to fit me in for a pedicure. I opted for the deluxe pedicure, which included a sugar scrub, hot stones. and paraffin wax, which felt heavenly. I hadn't treated myself to a pedicure in years and was delighted that Holly provided excellent service. Leann was also in the shop and it was nice to meet her, she was very friendly and accommodating. I also have arthritis in my hands pretty bad right now and asked if I could add a hand and arm massage, which they were able to accommodate for an extra $15 for 10+ minutes. Next time I'm in town visiting family I will definitely stop by.
Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience. I came in expecting a simple gel manicure, but the technician aggressively over-filed my nails until they became extremely thin and sensitive. One finger was even cut and bled during the process, and no proper care or apology was given. Within one day, the gel started peeling and lifting, which clearly shows poor technique and lack of care. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. not only is the quality terrible, but it also damaged my natural nails and caused real pain. I truly regret not reading the reviews beforehand because many people mentioned the same problems. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their nails or safety.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The employees were very rude and tried to get me to add on other services multiple times after I said NO. On top of that, I paid extra for no chip and my nails are already chipping a week into having them done. I could've gotten regular nail polish instead. Trust me there are wayyyyy better and cheaper salons to go to. I wouldn't go there again if it was my last option on earth. They honestly need to shut down go back to school and start over.

I really appreciated these ladies for redoing the nails without any additional fee when I unintentionally messed them up while there. I could tell that both women took their time with them. They trimmed my nails to make them even, and were attentive. My nails were done nearly a week ago, and I have been told that they still look new! A coworker had recommended them to me. Glad I went.
I am dumbfounded at how horrible my nails came out and appalled at the behavior of the salon owner and her employee (or daughter?). I came yesterday 5/5 to get a gel mani and pedi yesterday, and my manicure was genuinely the worst manicure I have ever seen. Not only were my nails filed into different shapes and lengths (too short, crooked, rough edges, scratchy) , but the polish was uneven, bumpy and SO thick. She filed my nails so hard I was left bleeding. Nails aside - I have never encountered such an impatient, aggressive, rude, and unprofessional salon owner. I left the salon as I was the last guest and they were closing, fully knowing I would have to come back to get them fixed. I came in today, 5/6, to get my hands redone after calling because it is actually comical how horrible they look. When I came in I was met with more impatience, aggressiveness and disdain for the fact that THEY did a bad job at doing my nails at the nail salon that THEY chose to open up. They seem really unhappy to have guests at their salon that don't just agree to whatever they think is best. Ex: I KNOW my nails are scratchy and uneven because I can feel them hurting my skin when I touch anything and can see that they are filed diagonally (?). Leann does not agree and says that my nails look fine to her and I am "picky". She began by reshaping my nails which required filing them down so short, none of my nails matched and when I brought this up, the owner pushed the nail file at me and told me "do it yourself". If I wanted to do it myself I wouldn't have come to a nail salon. I also kept repeating that I was not trying to upset her but my nails are SO scratchy, uneven, and I'm BLEEDING. Her tone was dismissive and annoyed, then angry and confrontational even though I repeatedly said I was not trying to be difficult I just wanted my nails fixed OR taken off!!! I would have gladly went somewhere else if they took them off but I spent $60 on a manicure and have an event in 1 day! It is not a nice experience for me to have to come in twice while being berated and spending my money to walk out with nails that are physically scratchy and clunky. I also don't appreciate being spoken down to which seems to be the only way this lady communicates. After I did not bow down to her demands on how my nails should look, she had someone else (maybe her daughter?) do my nails, and she was equally rude and begrudgingly finished my horrible looking nails. After painting my nails the wrong color and trying to gaslight me into believing it is the correct color, they finally finished another horrible nail job. At this point I was so exhausted with how they were speaking to me that I just wanted to leave and would have paid them at this point to just never touch my hands again. All in all I got to spend 2.5 hours being disrespected and getting the worst set of nails I've ever had. Walked out the 2nd time AGAIN with uneven nails, more bloody fingers, and a now headache from this horrible experience. Don't come here, please.
This place is the worst nail shop I've ever been to. DO NOT GO THERE! 1. They are more expensive than other places (straight after my appointment going to another place to fix them) to find out the price difference. 2. The owner and staff were very impatient when you point out issues. You are paying for a service and should reflect on their work. I left the appointment with crappy nails. Gel polish was not painting evenly. They did not remove my previous polish properly and just keep filing my real nails so thin to the point it burns. They did not do the final orange polish filing before painting the colours on so everything is patchy and uneven. The photos look better but in person is SHOCKING.
Amazing quality and attention to detail! Leann is one of a kind! So so hard to find a skilled nail tech, and pro! She is the best, suggests great colors based on skin tone, and super special art details. I can go on and on. She's super nice, great person, and truly cares about you, it's not Just a transaction. They last so long, and they take great care of your on nail in the process! Must save and come by for all of your nail needs! Great energy!

I don't recommend this nail salon. Inconsistent and absolutely poor quality. They don't listen to what you want. They just do what they have in mind and keep telling you at the end, at the and when the end comes, it's too late since it will not be what you asked for. The hygiene is lacking as well. I had a really bad experience. They have zero customer service and I'll never go back. They do a very low standards job. Even people who gave them 5 stars when you see their posted pictures, you can see the inconsistent and poor quality. I regret for going there and hope others don't make the same mistake. read more

3rd visit here and they Over charged each time! When I told LeAnne, she priced me different for same set I got last time, She said, no honey, it's same! Ugh NO it wasn't!! My nails was a hot mess and, LeAnne knew that too so instead of removing what looked like wrinkled nail polish after putting it under heat, she used my original colored I picked to cover over it! My full set nails was hideous! It was all over the place, some were fat almond shaped, not shaped well, it was a mess! Will not be going here ever again! Also they now don't accept cards! My 1st visit they accepted cards, which wasn't too long ago! Now it's CASH ONLY! You have to go next door to get cash!! They should let people know beforehand! read more

I am giving 3 stars because the shop was clean and I was greeted warmly. They charge way too much for mediocre quality. I got a gel pedicure and noticed that the tech finished my pedicure pretty quickly. Now, I realize it's because she did not fully cure the gel polish. The picture shows my toe the same day (today) I got the pedicure. Very disappointed because I spent $55 plus tip on this. read more

The vibe was amazing!! As soon as I walked in they got started right away, very kind and very understanding aswell. I wanted short but cute nails and they understood the assignment! I was even so satisfied and happy I went back and gave them a tip. I will definitely return for another set. read more

COVID updates: It's my first time back since shelter in place and boy am I finally glad this place is open. Leanne is the best around. For health and safety, she's made updates to the shop that include: -masks required -temp checks upon arrival -hand sanitizer upon entering -outdoor seating for waiting -each station and chair now has a glass divider -rigorous sanitization between clients Overall, I definitely feel safe with all of the measures in place to ensure customer safety. Thanks Leanne for all of the updates! I'd recommend calling to make an appointment! read more

Requested a regular pedicure and gel extension manicure. Somehow got convinced that acrylics would be better because I can get them filled, while gel x is a one time deal. They proceed to start giving me a gel pedicure (costs $15 extra) after I stated twice I wanted a regular one. It was very clear they were doing whatever they could to get me out of there asap. The acrylics came out sloppy and were rushed. I asked for them to be cut shorter and she laughed and said she "wasn't done". They came out entirely too long and crooked. This is by far the most expensive trip to the nail salon I have ever had! Usually I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this felt necessary to say for the sake of others who may be considering coming here. Do not waste your time or money. Only gave them one star because zero stars is not an option. read more

The lady was very friendly but rushed the process, I ended up with nails that were crooked, beyond sharp, and overall just ugly. I have MULTIPLE CUTS ON ALL MY FINGERS from when she cut my cuticles. I pray I don't get an infection. I'm getting the nails removed because they're so painful . read more
BEST FOOT MASSAGE! Tammy really took her time to massage my feet VERY WELL. I'm very happy because the places I've been to only half ass rub your feet! Tammy took atleast 5 min on each leg hitting key pressure points. I read on the wall that this place is toxin free! Very clean! Very nice good service Thank you! read more
Today...drained me. One of those exhausting, just rather unpleasant days. I needed a little self care after work. So, I made an appointment for a quick mani pedi on my way home! The reviews for Leann's were good so I thought I'd give her shop a try. Overall, it was a good experience and the ladies did a FAB job on both my fingers and toes. The only downsides were the small selection of regular colors (lots of gel and dip options but not a lot of regular polish, and what was there looked old and separated) and the fact that it's cash only (I had to go to the atm at the dispensary next door); the cash thing would've been very nice to know beforehand. I am happy to have given this small shop business and they truly did a great job on my hands and feet. I recommend Leann's, but make sure to bring cash and if advise against regular polish! read more

I came to Leann's on my first day off in a long time. I recently went to Mexico, and did a lot of snorkeling so my skin, nails and feet needed some extra tlc. After reading the glowing reviews for Leann's Nails, I decided this would be the place to get things back in order- and I'm so happy I made that decision. I decided to get a mani-pedi with gel, and I did all the add ons- stone massage, hot wax and her new "signature" pedicure treatment for baby feet. This entire procedure took just shy over an hour, and it was the most relaxing experience. Aromatherapy, ambient music and lovely house plants were nice touches as well as a very relaxing massage chair. For my pedicure, I received a pearl infused leg and foot scrub followed by a hot wax mask, and whipped lotion leg mask. This was followed by hot towels, massage oil and a hot stone massage- then a baby foot collagen mask on my feet. The same sequence was then done to my arms and hands. If I only took photos of my before and after- however, see my pictures of how buttery soft and glowing my skin is after this treatment, and how beautiful my nails turned out, too. I love this place. I come once a month for a pedicure. As a man I can't speak to the color selection or whatever, but my wife comes with me and seems to like the colors. The full pedicure with hot rocks, hot paraffin wax and the whole soak, scrub, clip, process is really relaxing. Plus my feet love the pampering. Everyone is very nice, the process is very methodical (I watch my wife next to me getting the same treatment and we get the same step-by-step treatment!) LeAnn, the owner, checks in on us, and makes sure everything is going to our liking. I really like this place, and the new massage chairs are awesome! read more

I would not recommend this place. I would put zero star if I could. We went there because it has 4.5 star on Yelp review but Leanne did a horrible job (see photos attached). My skin is still glued to the nails and they're shaped differently. I wanted my nails longer but she cut it how she wanted it. I asked her if she was going to clean around the nails she responded "you're finished". She talks too much, she was prying, asking my daughter in law about her personal life, where she works, if married, what the husband do for a living, etc etc....telling us about other customers and the returned checks they issued to her. I don't understand the language they speak, but the other employees didn't say a word. She talks to them in their language and they acts like robots. My daughter in law had the dip for the first time. She chose light gray, her toes were painted the right color but her nails were bluish gray. She asked if she comes back the next day to change to a lighter color Leanne said "no, it will be hard to remove the color" and to return in 3 weeks. I think Leanne is the only person that does nails there. Every one else did the pedicures. She over charged us. I had a deluxe pedi, $45 + ($5 for stone massage which i didn't ask for), $50 for a full set acrylic with gel. It should only be $100 but She charged me $115. She charged my daughter $85 for the dip and pedi. When we got home we looked at her prices on yelp we realized we were overcharged. Too expensive for such a lousy job. We should not have left her any tip, but we did. We walked out of there saying Well, we will not ever go back to that place again. read more

Leann did a fantastic job for me! I have been pregnant and taking care of my baby boy for months and I couldn't go get my nails done for almost a year. I had ingrown nails in my feet and fungus. Leann took care of all my nails issues. She even gave me the house signature treatment for my feet. I had these beautiful gel manicure with design for my manicure and French gel for my pedicure. read more

Leann was absolutely amazing! This was our first time in, I was bringing my friend's daughters in to get their nails done for a special event. We called ahead to make an appointment because there were 4 of us (which I recommend). We had 3 full set of acrylics, 2 gel pedicures and 1 acrylic fill done and they all turned our beautiful! The girls absolutely enjoyed the experience and were so happy with their nails! Leann and her team are so gracious and accommodating and just great company to be in when getting your nails done. We will definitely be back! read more

I'm giving 2 stars only because of customer service, made an appointment for 11am on a Sunday , appointment was prompt and seated right away, nail technician was nice , offered me tea or coffee, However once I noticed my nail was slanted and I asked her to fix it, she tried to tell me my nail goes that way , I told her no other places make my nail go that way. I even showed the lady next to me and she confirmed that my nail was most definitely crooked . She didn't even try to fix the issue just proceed to have another nail tech polish my nail and she couldn't even do that right . As you can see from my nail photo, (just lazy )I told her I found them on Yelp . I'll never go back there again !!! Even if they offered me to come back for free... EVER , I guess I have to keep going to the inner city to get my nails done seems like that's the only ones that know how to get it right. read more

Meh. Things i should have spoken up about but didn't and now i am not happy with my nails: Asked for square/round but got square, thickness of acrylic is all different, shapes are different, so much superglue under my nails and on fingers. They totally rushed through the process and kept getting up to help other customers. The polish is pretty, but it's a totally different color than I asked for. Also, fyi, there is no sign and they did not mention when I came in that they only accept cash. I wasn't prepared for that so They made me go to the weed shop next door and use the atm. I was at Leann's salon on Saturday April 6th. I had a "dip" manicure and a "deluxe" pedicure. Total cost $120. Leann the owner did my manicure and once she was done she asked me to go next door to the dispensary to pull cash out from their ATM, she said that they prefer cash because it's better for small businesses. The manicure was mediocre, I could tell something was off. It seemed as though it never appropriately dried. A receipt for cash payment was never given or offered. The next morning I woke up to my nails absolutely destroyed. Monday 4/8 I walked into the salon asking for a refund, she refused. She said she would do them over and I said no I don't want to sit for another 2 hours and not know if they are going to last. She refused to give me a refund and told me to call the police. I thought about it, and it felt silly to call the police so I decided to just ask for a receipt instead. She refused to give me a receipt and told me I need to call the police for a receipt. So I did. She not only wasted my time and money she wasted the time of the police department and the guests in her chair at that time. I am definitely reporting her and her business and I urge you to not waste a dime or your time. My first and last time at this spot. Was visiting a friend on Alameda so thought of getting a manicure and pedicure set to end my evening. 1. They charged $3 for slippers!!!! I get pedicures often and most salons will provide the foam slippers to avoid your nail paint being smudged and giving you time to dry your nails before you leave. These people asked me to change my spot 3 times and I was walking bare foot!! Finally my nail paint was not dry and they asked me to leave cause it was time for them to close and I had to buy the $3 slippers for which they rushed me to pay as if I was going to run away without paying $3. This is after I had paid them for my mani pedi plus tipped them generously (which I should not have). 2. Very over priced for their service. Deluxe pedicure is $45 and does not even offer paraffin wax. Regular pedicure has no cuticle oil or basic scrub. It's a rip off with lack of service!! 3. I got regular manicure, NOT gel and they asked me to leave in 5 min after doing my nails and I exclaimed "are my nails dried" and Lean said yes but they can get easily spoilt .. this was as if to tell me that we will not fix if anything gets ruined. Well then why not let me completely dry my nails before I leave? If it was your closing time then you should not take appointments and if you do then work on hands and feet simultaneously. 4. I was introducing a friend to manicures and she has paint all over her fingers and very unclean job. I was embarrassed to take her to this spot. read more

My first and last time at this spot I need a manicure ASAP so I looked locally and I found this spot I came in for a dip powder and she was about to apply the dip with out removing cuticle she said it's an extra $10 for cuticle remover am like that's fine so it was only $50 for the dip she did a horrible job cleaning my cuticle she did a horrible job applying the dip I wanted to cry the way she applied it so messy also like she was rushing and I was telling her my side don't have dip so then she applied a 3rd layer of dip so that made them worst because all my sides were uneven and she's like I only charged you for dip not the cuticle remover am like thanks but I would of paid it with no problem but my nails look horrible I don't recommend this spot for dip powder read more
TL:DR Decent quality for a decent price. I'm such a stickler when it comes to acrylics and I normally don't get them my first time trying a new shop, so that's my fault. I don't feel great about giving this review because they were nice & have good customer service. My rating is based on the quality. I normally go to a pricier nail shop that never misses but I wanted to try a place closer & easier on my wallet. I don't regret going to Leann's and I would book with them if I didn't have time/money to go to my normal place. I got a acrylic full set with gel polish and one of their upgraded pedicures with callus remover and gel polish. my total before tip was around $110 (compared to $165 at the pricier salon) I removed one star for each service, for a couple reasons. For my full set, the acrylic was thick and uneven. They didn't file them enough & before I got a chance to say anything she threw on the gel polish, it felt rushed. My pedicure was okay. My feet were really soft at first but the callus remove cream made my feet peel a couple days later so I had to scrub them again at home. They didn't over or under deliver, I got the service I was expecting for price. read more

My bestie and I have been coming here once a month for several months now. Leann is the best! We get gel pedicures and powder dip manicures. While my friend wants the same color each time, I have been amazed by Leann's creativity and talent! One time we did an hombre and another we added a subtle gold glitter to the tips. Leann is so fun! We've chatting with her and sharing stories. Our nails consistently look amazing and even better, they powder dip is helping them be healthier, longer, and stronger. We've been spoiled forever and refuse to go anywhere else! read more

I really wanted to leave a better review but the quality speaks for itself. My gel manicure just does not look clean or neat . The gel polish is all over the outside of my nail to the surrounding cuticle and skin. As you may know when you try to peel it off the excess gel pieces it rips off the polish along with it . The owner Leann did my nails and she attempted to file off the excess polish during the curing but it left the edges rough and still didn't get it all. The cuticle edge of the nail bed has uneven polish starts , so it just doesn't look clean. I thoroughly being in the salon , as the shop is quiet with calm music , lots of real potted plants surrounding you. The customer service is great , I was able to have a good long conversation with Leann and but I am not happy with the value of the service . The pedicure was $40 for the most basic pedicure, I paid extra $7 for callus removal and it was just a basically scrub with exfoliant that comes free at other salons . $35 for gel manicure. In total $82 for a pedicure and gel manicure . After tip $100 . It's a bit steep for the quality of the work. read more

Friendly group of women that took care of me and mine. As a 1st timer and massage therapist I could appreciated the service. I passed on a technique and they tried to meet my request of not being soft and gentle with my claws. unfortunately it took every bit of focus to not start crying for being tickled. read more

When they do dip manicure, do they put the powder in a separate container or sprinkle it on so they don't cross-contaminate/?
