I had a great experience! I have milia which are those small whiteheads that won't pop. She removed them all and gave me an awesome facial. She also massaged my arms, shoulders, and upper back (along with my face and head). The atmosphere is very pleasant and calming and you really can't beat the prices. It was $110 for a very comprehensive facial with extractions. I'm very happy. read more

I've been going to Beauty Unlimited for years and Fei has always been great. Her services are very relaxing, she explains everything thoroughly, and overall I've consistently had good experiences with her over the years. She's knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable during appointments. The only thing I will say is that at times I felt a little pushed to purchase additional products that honestly are still sitting on my shelf unused. Besides that, she truly does great work. I'd just recommend standing firm on your budget and what you're comfortable spending. Overall, I still highly recommend her services! read more

Got a gift certificate for a massage and facial. This studio is situated in a quiet Alameda neighborhood with street parking. I had a great massage with Fei. Nice strong hands on my shoulders as requested by me. I have never had a facial before and was very hesitant and did not know what to expect. Boy was I surprised. I asked so many questions as to what was being done to my face, the products, the procedures were all gentle and my face feels great. Very clear Fei knows what she is doing with over 20 + Years of experience. I enjoyed myself so much that I will book another appt. read more

Beauty Unlimited - Front of the salon. - Massage Near Me - Alameda, California

Cute little spot in the residentials of Alameda, make sure you give yourself extra time before your appt to find street parking. When you get to the front door, there is a Ring doorbell. Ring the bell and give her a minute. She will let you in, as the door stays locked. TBH it doesn't really look like a whole lot on the outside or inside but what is lacking in ambiance is made up for in service. Fei offers a really great deal for 1 hr facial + 1hr massage for $179. You can text her to make appts as well, so easy! She takes all forms of payment, including Apple Pay. Love that! Don't come on a time crunch though, as my 2 hour appt actually ended up being 2.5 hours. I'm not complaining because not once did I feel rushed through my sessions. If anything, I was so relaxed, I actually took a whole nap during the end of my facial. I am such an ugly snoring sleeper, so sorry to Fei for having to endure me lol Fei is a talker. At least with me. We talked my entire visit, except when she left me with jelly mask on, and I napped. Personally, I don't mind the chat as I feel like it makes the whole experience that much more personable. She knows about my BD, my kid, and my BF now lmao She does have an accent and I can see how there could be a slight communication barrier but it's really not going to affect the service at all. She is fairly blunt about her observations and she may make suggestions for mole and blemish removals, etc. She even pointed out that I have hella stretch marks lol but I personally had no issue with this. It's like talking to an Asian auntie.. IYKYK. The massage was good. I'm always super tight, so she definitely helped me work out some kinks. The facial was even better, my skin just felt so much more hydrated and glowing and I could swear some of my sunspots are already semi lighter after one session. She doesn't really walk you through the steps, or tell you what she's doing to your face, but if you ask her, she will absolutely tell you. There was a zapping wand thing she used on me, and I asked her what it was. She said it was to seal the pores.. I loved that. My pores aren't smaller but my face does feel more unclogged so facials will have to be in my new skin care routine. I'm new to the facial scene so I do want to explore other options but my experience here was great and I would absolutely come back. read more

Fei is amazing. I've been going to her for facials for years, even before she moved to this location. I first found her when I finished college and my skin was a mess with acne breakouts and scars everywhere and bumpy texture. She completely transformed my skin over the years and I literally get compliments about my skin now! Fei gave me back my confidence and I've introduced her to my friends and family and they all love her. Definitely recommend Fei if you're ready to start your journey to beautiful skin! read more

I've been going to Fei since 2019. I had a lot of sun spots and breakouts. My skin was also super oily. She started treatment for the sun spots with various methods. At first, My face was in bad condition but I hung in there and continued my treatments religiously every month for the past 4 years. I can't tell you what a difference the treatments did for my face! My dark spots are 85% gone and my skin is brighter, less oily and soft! She also took out some skin tags on my neck. I would never go to anyone else. Please see my before and after pics. Thank you Fei! read more

Hubby and I had booked another appointment here since we've been in need of a massage. I booked the appointment for 04/23/2022. On the morning of the appointment, I had received a call from Fei letting me know that one of the other masseuse was out due to a family emergency. Fei asked if we were OK getting our massages back to back instead of together since she would be the only one. We were fine with doing that. Fei is so kind and sweet. She was amazing at getting all the knots out of my shoulders. I didn't even realize how tense I was until she started kneading the knots out. Fei puts the right amount of pressure. I really appreciate her being accommodating and we are definitely going to be coming back for more massages and to get a facial and back treatment as well. read more

This is a no-frills, very straightforward but friendly massage spot. I have yet to opt in for any of their other services, but I return for Fei's massages -- they are excellent. I came to see Fei for a facial and I can see why she has 5 stars! She does a great job in cleaning and extractions. My face feels so much cleaner and my pores are smaller each time I get a facial from her!! She's amazing - I always recommend my friend to her and they all love her. If you're looking for a facial worth your money - she's the one! She's starts with steaming your face then goes on with washing and massaging your face, so relaxing btw. Then she moves on with the extractions. And depending on what she suggests to add on. Such as diamond peel or laser spot treatment and ends with a cooling mask. read more

My wax was excellent. They are so accommodating and kind and did a great job! I'll come back for a facial

Fei was wonderful, shop clean! I called at noon to see if she had an opening for a facial and she said she'll call me back after confirming appointments. Called back right away and she could see me at 4! I was running behind and she was accommodating. Once settled in the bed, she worked her magic. Truly- her hands are magic. She started with cleaning the skin, little massage (heaven) and a steam. The extractions honestly killed me but my pain threshold is not very high, and I do see and feel a huge difference. After this, a cooling gel mask was applied for about 15 min? I fell asleep lol. Once that was removed, she used a light machine that *zapped* the open wounds. Again, low pain threshold here but I managed (with teary eyes). She ended with lotion and aftercare advice. She politely called me out on my bad habits contributing to my skin health, which I appreciate. I'll be back! I also think it's worth mentioning that she has beautiful skin. read more

If you care about your skin then Fei is the person you want to see! I say this as someone who has been getting facials for decades. She is the best and has been an expert on skin for 20 plus years! My skin is healthier, brighter, more youthful because of her. Prior to seeing Fei I had dark spots I was struggling to get rid of. Her lightening treatment has worked wonders for my pigmentation and I can go outside without any foundation and feel my best! Her facial massage and lifting treatment have also given me lasting results. She's also very accommodating and a sweetheart and cares a lot about her clients! I recommend Fei to everyone anytime I get compliments on my skin which is often because of her. read more

Fei is wonderful!! I do not usually write reviews but this is long overdue ! She takes her time with the facials and will make sure you get what your actually skin needs! I always come out glowing and refreshed! People assume I'm younger because of my skin, she works super hard on me because I used to smoke too so she literally reverses the damages! Her machines tighten and lighten my skin, without being evasive - and I have sensitive skin too ! My wrinkles look smoother and skins texture/ pores has improved over time. She does excellent eye brow microblading too , it comes out natural , like you can't even tell! Her hair removal machine is painless and quick, I haven't had to shave my legs/lip/ underarms in so long , it saves me sooo much time ! Sooo worth it !! My New Year's resolution is to come more often so I can keep improving myself ! Thank you Fei!!!! read more

Summary: Care, Quality & Results You must be wondering 5 stars from over 50 people, no way. Well, it's true. Fei is legit! I had some extra time one afternoon and was in Alameda and decided to find a facial spot nearby. I had no expectations coming here, I just wanted a facial and massage and the reviews were great so why not. Well, let me tell you, Fei spent 3 hours on me. Teaching me about how to take care of my face, extracted 12 blackheads from my eyelids, crazy right?! I didn't even know I had them. She showed me what she took out and I was in shock. I love the thought and care she puts into me as a customer. She really cares about your skin and how to get it to where you want. I used the facial products she recommended religiously and had two facials with her within 7 weeks. Look at my photos! My husband sees the difference so you know it's working! Ha! read more

Fei was my masseuse. Basic Swedish for 75 minutes. She fit me in on the day of via text. Friendly, accommodating, informative and just so relaxing. I nearly fell asleep. The outside of the business looks so misleading to the magic that's inside. Very inviting. Thank god I've found my masseuse on the island. read more

Faye is the best! She is accommodating to my same day appointment request. Offers professional advice on facials and skincare.

Needed a facial and massage but kept forgetting to make an appointment. Last night, I was happy to know that Fei had a time between appointments and accommodated me. Truly needed this pampering. She hit all the right spots. My back was so tight but after a while, I felt like jelly. Then she gave me a facial. She noticed that my brows needed to be shaped and that i have some "moustache-y" fuzz. She took care of that, too. She has the gentlest hands. And she made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. The ambiance of soft lights, soothing music contributed to a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I went in feeling achy, left feeling rejuvenated. Best facial and massage. Highly recommended. read more

This is a long overdue review- but I've been coming to Fei since 2018 mainly for facials. First things first, she is super responsive. You can msg her directly on yelp or call/ text her for appt which is always great when you want a last minute appointment or need to reschedule. Second, Fei is super friendly! My first time going to her, I wasn't sure which kind of facial I should get so I just went in and consulted with her and went with her recommendation. I've gotten different facials with her and they've all been great. She really takes her time to give you the best treatment and isn't trying to rush you out of there. She really does care about her clients and wants us to have the best results. Finally, her pricing is sooooo affordable! You honestly will not find a spot that has her price points in the East Bay. I always leave her shop very satisfied and always look forward to booking her again. She also has packages for a facial + massage- I highly recommend her massages as well. read more

Why is this business not at the top of the search list? I'm so glad I stumbled upon the reviews for this page after patiently looking for a masseuse for same day appointments. Fei was prompt, professional and friendly upon initial contact. The deep tissue treatment was one of the best I've ever had and addressed the tightness and knots I have. I recommend this business. Will try a facial soon as my skin needs it. read more

Ok, I'm obsessed. Three days after my facial with Fei, my skin feels and looks so good. I had a massive break out recently. Lots of comedones and stubborn acne, clogged skin/pores and Fei has done such a great job cleaning my face. I will definitely be returning. Fei knows what she's doing! She's so thorough and will do her best to get all the gunk out of your face. She takes her time and doesn't up-sale facials or products - which I'm sure we all love. Also, she even got the pimples on my neck! Ugh, can't say enough positive things. read more
