Such a great company! My boyfriend and I recently moved from our two bedroom apartment in Hawthorne so we thought we would rent 25 boxes and a dolly. They were able to schedule boxes to be dropped off within 24 hours to pack up and came to pick them up a week later as scheduled at the new apartment. They were on time, SUPER friendly over the phone and during drop off and pickup, and our movers were very appreciative that we had used them to move. The boxes easily stack 5 high. I can't say enough nice stuff about Leafy! I moved over the weekend and packing up their boxes was a breeze compared to dealing with cardboard boxes and tape. The boxes were delivered and they were neatly stacked and clean. They were easy to pack, zip tie, and label clearly. Amazing experience renting from Leafy! The company we rented from during our last move was out of biz but I found them on yelp. Customer service has been super responsive and flexible to our changing needs. Initial drop off was a little later than the expected window but we were home packing anyways and they kept us updated. This was just the right amount for a 2 bedroom apartment full of my home accessories and my partner's robot collection. I would dare put these valuables in some cardboard box. Boxes showed up on time. There were a few boxes missing (make sure you count all the boxes before the deliverers leave), but they ran back to get the remaining and had them to me in about 30-45 min. Not bad in LA traffic. At the end of the move they picked up on time. Overall a great experience. The boxes fit a ton of stuff, are super sturdy and easily stackable. So, we are late in the packing game but I plan on making up for lost time! I am SAHM with an 11 yr old and 11 month old. I got a call from the hubby to look into "bin rentals for moves" at 10:00am. Not too happy about having a wrench thrown into my insane day already coming close to an end (nap for baby around 10:30am and again at 1:45pm, pick up 11 yr old at 2:30pm, pick up the house, pack dance clothes for the 11 yr old, meet at our new place for measurements at 3pm, go to dance class 4:30-5:30pm, leave and have 11 yr old dress for dinner, dinner at sushi....did I mention somewhere in between nurse and pack snacks for 11 month old?!). I called 7 places and found out that two of them were in San Francisco only, one is in Georgia and one in Orange County (that wanted $300 for drop off and pick up on top of bin charges?!), the other one was not able to deliver nor pick up, the "big" one was out and could not help until Wednesday and the last one was.....drum roll...LEAFY! I contacted Leafy at around 10:24am and they replied at 11:53am. I spoke to hubby after he got home (5:08pm) and asked them if they can drop off the next day (Saturday) at 11:30am. Not expecting a reply, they wrote back that the could at 6:28pm?! I mean, even after hours they replied!! Today, at 11:42am, I received my 50 bins for my move in 6 days! Talk about service!!! I'm so stoked and also, I found them through another competitors review from a fellow Yelper?! Although the name they mentioned was wrong I did find Leafy! Now that I found them on Yelp, I'm so leaving a long review on just their CUSTOMER SERVICE! Can't wait to move! Did I mention we will be moving in about 1-2 years again?! We got 35 boxes for our one bedroom move and I'm so glad we did! We have more books than one couple should own, and we filled many boxes half with books, and half with other items. They were easy to manage and not too heavy. The service with Leafy was excellent, and boxes were cleaner than clean, and it was the best decision we could have made! read more

Great experience for us & made our move much more manageable! Loved not having the expense & waste of cardboard boxes. We were able to fit 6 boxes at a time in the back of our Honda Element. This made moving more efficient for us. We will definitely use this service again for our future moves & have recommended them to friends as well. Leafy Moving Boxes made my move so much more smooth! I was given a quote, scheduled a time, and the boxes arrived and were picked up on time. I was even given an ETA once they were somewhat closer. These moving boxes make your move so much cleaner, and there is no breaking down 100 boxes (I have a lot of books) afterwards. It also motivated me to unpack faster. Being able to stack boxes 5 high saved so much space in my cramped apartment as I packed and were so much easier to move around overall, not having to worry about fragile cardboard handles at best, and no handles at worst. After wasting a week trying to make arrangements and then eventually getting the brush off from a different green box rental company, I found Leafy on Yelp (incidentally from a negative Yelp review for the company I had been trying to work with). I was nervous, because we were just two weeks out from our move and I was worried Leafy wouldn't be able to accommodate us, but they came through with flying colors. I am so glad I found Leafy Boxes online before my big move. Their staff is easy to work with, great with email/text communication and made everything easier -- no cardboard boxes to buy/recycle and no packing tape. Not only was it more cost effective than traditional moving boxes, but it's also good for the planet. Added benefit: it makes you unpack more quickly so that you can return the boxes.
