Prompt, professional, polite. These movers were hired as a result of asking POD who they would recommend. My late brother's antiques were in BEVERLY HILLS. B H does not allow a POD to sit on the street overnight. They did call and notify us that they would be a few minutes late arriving. I had consistent communication with the drivers! Everything was packed with care. Heavy mirrors secured. Crystal and antiques bubble wrapped. They did this in a timely fashion, transported it to a facility in the valley, and packed the POD securely. They arrange things so that I could add more to the items in the future if needed. Their fee was not excessive. They were clean ,honest, and wanted to accommodate us in every way. I will be using them again for my next move. Highly recommended. read more

Absolutely terrible experience -- avoid at all costs! We hired this company for our move last Tuesday, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The original estimate was around $800, but by the end of the day, they charged us over $1600 -- and didn't even finish the job. First red flag: they sent only two guys and a small truck to move a whole house and garage. These movers were very nice, but they worked extremely slow. After two hours, barely anything was loaded. We had already boxed everything up and just needed help with the big furniture. My mom and I even started helping them carry stuff because they were moving like snails. We realized they were purposely dragging their feet to get into overtime, which costs $195/hour. On top of that, they broke a custom dresser, scratched our new floors and doors, damaged other furniture, and even put my mom's mirror on backwards -- then argued with her about it! I found out my brand-new massage table was broken, which is a huge deal since I need it for work. That alone is worth more than the $200 refund they offered. They clearly lied about being able to move a Smith machine -- we ended up moving it ourselves in a pickup truck. They gave us two different prices and then switched to speaking Spanish to come up with a new final price on the spot. Totally unprofessional. Now we have to ask for extra time at our old place just to finish moving what they left behind. They didn't bring the right team, didn't take care of our stuff, and didn't take responsibility. I honestly feel like they took advantage of us because we're women. DO NOT hire this company. They're dishonest, unprofessional, and left us with damaged furniture, missing items, and a huge mess. They took care when loading and maximized any and all space available. You couldn't slide a piece of paper in , if your life depended on it. :) Always brought to my attention any existing damage. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY. Although my move was scheduled last minute the day before, the movers that were sent to me were extremely SLOW. You can tell they were moving as slow as possible to extend the time. It took them 4 hours to pack up my old place. Upon arrival to my new place they were moving even slower. I only had them unload my heavy items like washer/dryer, TVs, refrigerator and etc. My boyfriend and I unloaded the rest of the small boxes ourselves due to how slow they were moving, obviously trying to run the tab longer to get paid more. The day comes to unbox my BRAND NEW TV that was delivered directly from BEST BUY that was NEVER OPENED, and the TV is CRACKED. The TV has been in the same spot they left it in. Luckily my indoor cameras were working prior to move in. While taking the TV upstairs they hit the box on the corner of the stairway and did not realize the damage they caused. It even dented the box. I reached out to the number I was given, and they claim their movers had no knowledge or remember damaging anything we had them move. Of course they don't remember. They offered me $34 on a brand new $700 TV. Which is an insult and slap in the face. They tried to blame me saying I must've caused the damage while taking it out the box. Which is untrue because 1, cameras are in my home. And 2, I called a professional over to have all my TVs mounted. I'm currently in the process of taking them to small claims court due to not taking accountable for the damage. Also, FYI this company offers discounts in exchange for 5 star reviews. Keep that in mind when looking to book them. You're better off going to the Home Depot and hiring men from the parking lot. I wouldn't recommend. read more

UPDATE: my Move was 6/1, as of today, 6/21, i have heard NOTHING. Alex called on 6/2 and informed me that they would be investigating, and that they would get back within 14 days. I had to hire MORE movers to finish the job that was left unfinished (at a bill of 4k for HALF A MOVE) I have had to buy. A new desk and a new bed as they were damaged so badly in the move they had to be replaced. I was really hoping my update would add a star or two because this business did the right thing and covered the damage they did and job they left unfinished. Alex gets five stars because he goes out of his way to correct any problems and he is extremely accommodating. His men, however, need to be watched when packing and unloading. They left my ladder in the truck, lost my atomic clock, and disassembled my treadmill when it was unnecessary, and when they assembled it, it wasn't working right, so I had to get a technician to come and fix it. I should say the ladder was delivered later, and Alex paid for the lost atomic clock. He also offered to come and take a look at the treadmill, but I had already hired a technician. I would hire these guys again, but I will supervise their packing and unloading. read more

These guys did a great job with my heavy stuff! I only needed a few heavy things moved (like a refrigerator, sofa, big display case, etc). They showed up on time, were helpful and friendly, and were done on-time. And they moved all my heavy stuff down a flight of stairs in the LA heat! While the crew was kind and courteous, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. They had a hard time organizing the truck and couldn't manage to fit all our stuff in (even though we did this same move 1 year ago and had plenty of room in the truck). They didn't have the tools they needed and kept asking us for tools, which were of course packed away and inaccessible. They didn't properly prioritize reassembly and this move has taken several hours longer than it should have - which of course leads to us having to pay even more. Ridiculous, ridiculous service. I booked the movers for 8am, and they show up 2 hours late which is 10am. This is my second time having them and last yr they were 1hour 30 min late and today is 2 hours. So unprofessional, they always say" oh too much traffic i apologize", but its just them being lazy and trying to have stupid excuse all the time. 2nd time proved me enough, learned my lesson the hard way. This company is dishonest and unprofessional. Their reviews are bought by giving their clients a discount to write a review. Like the review before mine they will intentionally take a long lunch during heavy traffic times extending their day by about 3-5 hours. I drove from our apartment to new house in 40 minutes, it took them 2.5 hours which they added to my billing hours and then charged me overtime (time and a half 1.5 X the hourly rate) The worst part is when I disagreed with the charges the supervisor of the moving crew began to yell and get in my face. They had their van parked 1/2 way inside my garage and refused to leave. I had to charge and additional amount on my credit card because I was out numbered 3 to 1 and I felt my safety and my wife's safety was in jeopardy. They will load slowly on purpose and unload slowly on purpose. I had to have them leave everything in the garage because what was supposed to be a short day ran over by 5 hours so I finished unloading the rest from my garage by myself. This company is not safe and not ethical. This is a typical bait and switch they give you one estimate on website and will overcharge you for sure. My prior move with a little more furniture was 5 hours quicker. read more

Just a short note, but I used these guys yesterday and they were not only nice and professional, but not nearly as expensive as I'd thought PLUS they were able to fit me in last minute (last minute being quite literally LAST MINUTE)! They treated all my belongings very carefully and they also wrapped everything professionally, which was a relief considering they moved a lot of expensive items like electronic, furniture, appliances and clothing's. I hired sky movers to move from Hermosa Beach to Pomona for school. The two men who helped me were Evert and Jose. Really nice guys. They were kind, fast and patient. I moved into a dorm on campus and finding my dorm room in a huge building was like entering a crazy maze. They were so patient with me and moved all my belongings into my dorm room quickly and everything arrived in perfect condition. Evert was especially wonderful! read more

They had all the boxes for clothes that you could just easily remove from your closet and hang inside their box, no folding needed. And it made it easy to remove and place in our new closets. Sky furniture was able to stop at salvation army and unload the furniture for us. Our movers we very honest Isaiah found money and returned it to us . Jaid was so helpful and such a great leader! We called Skymoving office to check whether we can get help from them in moving our household items from Northridge to Porter Ranch on Thursday. The girl who answered the phone was very accommodative and and she informed that since it's going be 4 bedroom house it would be better we do the move on Friday since Thursday available time is in the evening but on Friday they can start early in the morning had finish the job. I agreed for her suggestion and Friday early morning crew of 4 came on time with a terrific lead. We had a issue in access to the pickup location but the crew was very friendly and hardworking (I am really sorry guys I can't remember your names! I am very poor in that if the administrators can put those guys names I would be very grateful since it would be real recognition for the marvelous job they did). That team worked really hard and they just did what we asked them to do! At the drop off location they had to move furniture several times from room to room since we had changed of heart . No complaints what so ever from the crew. They complete the move in 8 hrs. That dismantling furniture from 4 rooms bringing them to downstairs and fixing all of them at in 4 rooms at our new house. We are very happy with service provided from the beginning........... We would recommend this movers to anyone in this area who are looking for a moving company for their next move..........!!! The worst. Not only did they break a piece of my furniture but also several items were damaged in the move. When I asked him how they were going to pay for the broken item he informed me that I was insured for .60 a pound, meaning I would have $6 deducted for my $70 item I had just bought that I witnessed them break, because it only weighed 10lbs. After they left I started unpacking and started noticing all the damage! My lampshades were not wrapped in the transit, so now the shades have black smudges all over them and finger prints from gripping with dirty hands. My solid wood dresser has little chips out of the edges, I even had to glue a small piece back on. And I was told I wouldn't be charged for shrink wrapping items, he charged me for my mattress. I could not be more upset with my experience. His assistant mover was so slow, and I caught him smoking out by the truck near my items. I did not tip them, not something I would ever normally do but having to replace the broken item was a 20% tip in itself. Also an item of mine was stolen by them, I contacted them after leaving to inform them they took my collapsible dolly and never got a reply. I have reached out several times and have not been replied too. So consider that your tip as well. DO NOT HIRE, WILL BREAK, DAMAAND STEAL YOUR ITEMS! UPDATE: After a week of silence, suddenly my text messages are returned after posting on yelp. My dolly was "found" and was returned to me just now. I was forced to sign a piece of paper saying I was given the item (it's not a special return paper, just another invoice agreement like I signed for the move) and I attempted to refuse to sign not knowing what I was signing and no longer trusting this company. He asked why, and I told him that they ruined my furniture and that I was done with them. Jose grabbed back the dolly and said then he would be taking it with him. I'm alone, it's 9am, and I am dealing with a company/person that ruined the appearance of my home and he's literally forcing me. I told him that is stealing, and to explain what and why I'm signing. He just said I needed to sign cause he's giving something back... it's mine, not yours to control or dictate. I appreciate being given my item back but only after leaving a yelp review and then having the interaction of return be like that. Just hand it back, it's not yours and you've already broken everything else. $400 poorly spent and left with nearly $1,000 of damaged items to replace and no way to afford to replace them. I never leaved reviews on the yelp but I think I have to leave review for this company. I used this company on September 2015. I am single mom and we were moving to small 2 bedroom home that located about 10 minutes away from where I was. Think how much of stuff we possibly had, me and 10 years old daughter. We even had only 1 bed that time. They sent a man who can not assemble bed frame, it took almost 12hours, they charged every single material, even tapes and shrink wraps. They even took one of my lamp and did not return it until I called. I did not get estimates from other companies because it was such a simple move. My bad. I had to pay full amount plus material and lunch. I had to pay because I did not want to fight alone against 2 guys, I was too tired too. Now, I moved again using other company, and realized how foolish I was. Do not use this company, They damaged my furnitures too. Did not do anything about it. read more
