All I have to say is that Dee was worth it! I just moved to the area and had to have my two armoires assembled before our official moving date and Dee was able to come out for a day right away. He and his brother came since I had two big armoires that requires two people to assemble. Both were perfect gentlemen the whole time. And worked so fast. Be forwarned...do not hire them for murphy bed wall system with cabinets. Debated between 1-2 stars. The murphy bed collapsed and our furniture, floor, and walls were damaged. If it wasn't for the kids playmat that soften the blow...the damages could have been way worse. We had four cabinets and a murphy bed system that needed to be built for this project. Cabinets where done..but murphy bed is damaged. Bids were sent out initially with a picture of the project and later an instructions manual video link was provided to show step by step sent out to each bidder in individual conversations. This build requires two people and we made sure the contractors were fully aware before the bid was accepted. First thing that went wrong. Since this job requires two people, one guy was dropped off in the morning at 8:30am to work by himself while the second guy left to put put "a fire" with a third guy and didn't return till noon time. Is was near dinner time and the guys were barely wrapping up the job. They finally told us it was done and my husband wanted to test out the cabinets and pull down the murphy bed to make sure things were at least in working order before they left and before we paid them. He noticed that a loose wire from the murphy bed light hung from the top of the frame to the bottom while the bed was open. It was fully exposed and hanging down where it can pose a hazard for little kids who may not know what it is and yank on it. There was a slot on the frame of which the wire was suppose to run so its tucked behind and in the slot and not pullable. The guys from the company tried to fix this by trying to tuck it behind the frame while the frame was still attached to the wall. It wasn't working. They then decided to loosen the murphy bed frame from the wall WHILE THE BED WAS OPEN to try to tuck this loose wire back onto the alot. BAD IDEA! The bed snapped from the wall and collapsed to the ground. There were GIANT WARNING LABELS that there is tension and to not loosen it from the wall while bed panel was attached. My husband try to catch it and hurt his hand. The owner of the company insisted that his job was complete and that the wire came loose afterwards after the "completed installation" and it wasnt his team's fault. Unfortunately, we disagree. It's not complete because it was installed incorrectly to begin with if the wire was not in the correct place and hanging loosely in the middle. The owner stated that the job was done and that they should get paid. We said how can it be complete with the loose wire when we now have a damaged murphy bed. We were nice enough to pay for the work of the cabinets but not for the bed. It was getting late and the owner informed us that he would take care of us and that he would come back to finish installing the bed as long as we have the replacement parts. I told him that we would we not be responsible for the cost of the replacement parts because it would be on him and his company if the manufacturer decideds to charge us. What bummed me out was that no integrity was shown that he should at least offered to pay for the replacement parts since it was his team that damaged our bed. He then told us to go through insurance. Insurance?!?!??! We got lucky and finally got the replacement parts from the company. When we tried to schedule with dee for him to come back to complete the job, he then wanted more money on top of what was agreed upon to finish the job and that we would have to wait over a week and a half for him to come back. Lack of integrity and went back on his words to take care of the situation. Reallly debated between 1 to 2 stars. If you want cabinets put together...they do an okay job for individual piece...but with more than one and alignment with each other and against the wall nicely...i would suggest managing them in person to get this done or go with someone else. Definitely don't ask for murphy bed install and be forwared that agreements can be broken and altered if something goes wrong on their part. Really bummed about the lack of ownership and integrity. Realllly reallllly bummed. read more
