*** Updated rating on 6/5/26: I appreciate the customer service to try & fix the issues from moving day. Sergey coming back today to help and I was given a discount which made me feel they actually care. On 6/3/26 Sergey and Alex helped me with my move. Sergey was amazing! He made sure to take care of my items & home with care. I have no complaints about Sergey and would highly recommend him. Alex on the other hand...he was not prepared to be a mover. One of the first things he asked me when he got to my house was could he have some snacks & water. Of course I said yes, but I did think it was odd to start off with a break when you haven't even moved anything yet. During the packing phase, Alex seemed engage, however, when we got to the unloading in my new location, it felt like he was working less. Poor Sergey worked his butt off. Obviously this impacted the number of hours my move took. I did a lot of my own packing & I didn't even have couches or living room furniture to move. Even Sergey acknowledged it took longer than it should have. Alex didn't take care of my belongings the way Sergey did. Even the tech fixing my internet told me "watch out for the guy with the hat he's tossing your things, banging the walls, as if he doesn't care" I think another thing that really bothered me is Alex threw water bottles & trash on the ground instead of in a trash bin. So you repay my kindness of giving you majority of the water bottles & prowl I I had available for my family by being disrespectful and rude! I called to let Eco Moving know of the issues but he seemed like he was tired & didn't care...not the same attitude at the time of booking. if this was just Serge and someone with his work ethic, I would 100% give 5 stars and use them again. TLDR: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRESPONSIVE. I would not hire them again or recommend to anyone We hired Eco moving to pack our 2 bedroom apt and 1hr move. It took 3 guys over 10 hours to pack my apt and they did not have enough boxes and tools for the job. We had to go to Home Depot multiple times to get boxes and tools for them. Then they lost the key to the truck and delay the moving process so muh longer. They started at 9am and finished unpacking at 1am the next day. I contact the owner and he gave us some discount but the issue was all because of their team. However, later one, we found out multiple scratches and we contacted the owner regarding the issue but no response! read more

Took them 3 hours just to pack up essentially a 1-bedroom, not even including any kitchen items. The only large items I had were my TV, TV stand, 4-person dining table and queen bed. When filling out the inquiry form, they said they charged extra for heavy items 250+ lbs. That's fair, but they charged me extra for my 160 lbs purple mattress because it was "really heavy." They also assembled my bed incorrectly (which doesn't require any tools to put together!!) and didn't bother asking me if it was ok. My 10 mile move ended up being 5 hours total plus a "heavy" item charge. Of course, I paid and tipped as well because 3 stories is a lot to bring furniture down. However, last company I used only took 1.5 hours to bring all that furniture *UP* 3 stories and no complaint or extra charges about my mattress. In the end, they DID get the job done, but it wasn't great. Wouldn't recommend to anyone else. read more

Yet another move with Eco Moving and this was the biggest and longest one yet AND STILL they delivered amazing service. I think this might've been my 4th or 5th time using Eco. All our items made it almost 80 miles down the freeway to our new home safe and sound. Bed frames were assembled again, boxes placed in their right place. Just amazing. This time, I had the pleasure of having Kyle, Jon & Giza as my movers and man, these men work hard and efficiently. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the loaded their truck! Even though they moved quickly, everything was handled with such care. None of our furniture or items were damaged at all! I seriously come back to Eco all the time and I will continue to do so. We are never using this company ever again. Writing this review today 9/5/25 as I am waiting for them to arrive to move our things. As promised, arrival time was between 9am-10am. It was past 10am and I received no updates from them. I proceeded to call, a few times before even getting to the representative who I had been in communications with. Molly seemed unaware of the scheduled delivery and said she would call me back. At this point it was getting close to 10:30, I received no updates and had to call back. She answered and apologized for a truck issue on the highway and said she would be sending another truck. Why was there zero communication about the truck and arrival time? I had to call them; they did not update me at all. It was completely unprofessional. She then reassured me that another truck would be coming at 11:30. When 11:30 came around, I called multiple times, emailed, and texted as I still did not hear from Eco company regarding any updates. It was not until noon that Molly texted me "Sorry, your guys will be contacting you soon." What does soon mean? Still zero courtesy to call to apology or explain. Eventually a person did text me past noon that they would arrive at 12:30. Honestly at this point, I could no longer take their word for anything. They finally arrived at 1pm - 3 hours after the arrival window from 9-10am. The guys who came were fine, they got the job done but had to be reminded a few times for things that was already communicated (they later told us that the management company didn't tell them anything, and called them last minute). I only had a few pieces of big furniture items - a rug, TV, twin bed, queen bed and coffee table. Nothing else. They charged me for 7 hours total for the move from Los Angeles to Orange County. So just to be clear, despite their seemingly positive reviews (potentially incentivized, also notice that they were all done within the past year), I would NOT recommend this company to anyone! Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to see receipts - I have it all. The contract, texts (lack of), and supposed "discount." Please avoid Eco Moving if you value your time and invest your money in a professional company. I'm hoping this review saves you the pain I endured. I ended up paying, with their "courtesy discount" a total of $586 to move FIVE pieces of furniture. I also wasted the entire day waiting for them with minimal updates. Honestly, the most disappointing and frustrating part about the whole process was the general lack of communication and dishonesty from the management company, specifically Molly. *9/6/25 - UPDATED RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE* The 3 hour delay in moving time should've been held accountable by the moving company. Again, if they had communicated any delays, this would've not been an issue. Molly stated in an email that this would be an 'easy move given the minimal items,' yet somehow, they calculated and charged for 7 hours of moving time. How does that come out to be $864 when the original contract was $105/hr (cash price) + $30 truck fee? And yes I am aware of the doubling of the driving time which (they kept using this as excuse to up-charge me). If they had arrived as promised, it would've been 3 hours of actual packing, assembling, disassembling total ($315), plus 1 hour of driving (double that driving time so $210). $315 (packing) + $210 (driving) + $30 truck fee = $555 As confirmed with the owners, I paid $585 - so actually not really any discount. Refer to another Yelper review about a month prior - a very similar situation with truck breakdown and the movers arriving 3 hours past arrival time and lack of notice. If you value reliability and have a time crunch, I would not chance booking this moving company. If you feel like you still want to go with this company, obviously your choice, but wanted to share my experience because it is clear in their response that they are still not owning up to their mistake and was never transparent. read more

We booked their services for 2:00pm with an expected arrival between 2-3pm. At 2:05, they let us know they'd be delayed until 4:00pm. Unfortunately, around that time we still hadn't heard from them, so we reached out. We texted at 3:51, called at 4:09 with no answer, and received a reply at 4:11 that they would now arrive at 5:30. This made it too late for us to complete what we had planned, as our drop-off location closed at 6:00pm. I completely understand that they faced unexpected issues that day, including a truck breakdown, and that some delays are unavoidable. The main reason for my lower rating is not the delay itself but the lack of proactive communication--especially after the initial reschedule to 4:00pm. If it became clear they wouldn't make that time, a quick update earlier on would have helped us adjust our schedule and avoid the last-minute scramble. On the positive side, they did issue an instant refund and tried to offer solutions for a later time or the next day, which we truly appreciated. My hope is that in the future, more frequent updates can be provided to customers when delays happen. In the afternoon heat of 105 degrees, they packed, wrapped, moved and loaded our entire home and then took to our storage facility and unloaded. The entire job took just 3 /12 hours. They worked in sync and were polite and made sure all we needed was taken care of. Moving is a nightmare, no way around it.
