My husband and I, along with our two young kids, live nearby and stopped in to see if there were any dinner openings within the next hour. The hostess told us yes, took down my name and phone number, and told us to come back at the allotted time. We returned exactly on time -- I even showed her the waitlist text that had been sent exactly an hour earlier -- only to be told she had marked us as a "no-show" and given away our table. What made the situation even more frustrating was that she acted as though this was somehow our fault, when clearly it was her mistake. Why take down a customer's name and phone number if you're not going to use it? A simple phone call or text asking if we were still coming could have avoided the entire issue. Because of her error, we then had to wait another 30-40 minutes for an outdoor table, which she recommended because we had our kids with us. During that entire time, not a single manager came over to apologize, acknowledge the mistake, offer empathy, or even offer water or drinks while we waited. The lack of hospitality was honestly shocking. Once we were finally seated, we immediately ordered because our kids were starving. Still, nobody thanked us for waiting or apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, our waitress repeatedly told my son to stop touching the table lamp and kept asking if he was "a good boy," which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the table next to us was smoking cigars directly beside us and blowing smoke in our direction while we were eating with our children. No staff member offered to move us or politely ask the guests to be considerate. The food itself was mediocre at best and extremely overpriced. After we had already been sitting and eating for over 20 minutes, someone finally brought coloring supplies for the kids -- far too late to even matter. Again, still no manager, no apology, and no attempt whatsoever to make up for the experience, not even a small dessert or gesture of goodwill. Overall, the service was rude and disorganized, the food was mid, and the atmosphere felt entitled and obnoxious. We will absolutely not be returning, and unfortunately we'll be telling our local friends and neighbors not to bother either. read more

Gorgeous atmosphere, amazing food, and very lively. Highly recommend this for a date night. The pizza bar is a great place to sit as the restaurant is small. We had the spicy rigatoni 10 out of 10, and the pizzas are thin and cracker like crust. Very delicious. We had Virginia help us and she was incredible. Highly recommend! read more

The food was delicious. We had two Wagyu ribeyes, both of which were excellent and cooked to perfection, pasta + calamari. The truffle pizza was also very good, and the wine was excellent. Virginia, our server, could not have been better. She was polite, friendly, professional, attentive, and all around terrific. The restaurant also has a great vibe. Unfortunately, we were seated very close to the front entrance, and for reasons I still do not understand, we were told that the manager insists on keeping both front doors open. Given that it was August in Miami at 4:00 PM, this was not the best decision. It made for a very hot and somewhat uncomfortable meal, which was a shame because everything else about the experience was so enjoyable. read more

Lily one of the managers of the restaurant greeted us so welcoming and got us a few seats at the bar last minute and let me tell you, it was worth it ! It was also fun to watch the pizza makers do their magic in front of us while we ate! The truffle pizza, spicy rigatoni vodka pasta, chicken pallard salad, Nutella pizza, hamachi crudo: literally anything and everything on the menu is TO DIE FOR. The ambience and the music are fun, the service is quick, and the restaurant itself has a cozy feel to it. The decor is art deco vibes. Overall, this place was just okay -- nothing special. We ordered a margarita pizza, which was good and probably the highlight of the meal. The yellowtail carpaccio was also solid and nicely done. Tiramisu was okay. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was a miss. It was overly salted and didn't taste good at all, which was disappointing. The food wasn't bad overall, but it didn't really stand out either. Fine if you're in the area, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to. read more

The vibe is better than the food. We sent the pizza back. We ordered the pizza with the prosciutto and it overwhelmed and overpowered the pizza. Frankly, the pizza other places is far better. We had the Caesar salad which was very good and the Dover soul was cooked perfectly and was quite lovely. We had the rigatoni which was literally drowned and swimming and sauce and way too salty not to mention the fact that the rigatoni was incredibly overcooked. The pistachio gelato was very good as well. I'm not in a hurry to go back. I think it's just another example of an overdone Miami Italian restaurant and there is really no value for the money spent and the service was horrendous. read more

We went to this place to celebrate my birthday. I made a reservation weeks in advance and specifically requested a booth; however, when we arrived, they gave us a table right in the middle of the room where I didn't feel comfortable. I politely asked the hostess if we could move to one of the tables she had available in the corners, and she said no! Regarding a table that was set for four--and could only seat four people--she claimed it was meant for ten. The waiter service was good, and the food was incredible! However, the blonde-haired hostess was very unprofessional and rude. I probably won't be returning anytime soon due to the very poor experience I had, all thanks to her disorganization. read more

This restaurant is way overrated, The 4 of us were seated with in 5 minutes, however the hostess told us it would take an hour for the food to come out, the waited came over with 2 minutes, he said the specialty dishes take a little longer to come out but not an hour, We explained it was out first time here and asked what he recommended, and if and of the dishes were be able to do family style, where we could all have a little bit, he said the salads and pizza, we ordered 2 salads and an appetizer, then asked what was the best food here, he recommended the pizza with cheese in the middle, when it arrived at the table it was the size of a small pizza, with lots of air bubbles in the pizza, we all put a slice on our plates and there was no cheese in the inside, except for on one slice, we had to ask someone to bring our waiter over, which then he said he would remake it, we told him no we will try a different one, we ordered, waiter brought it to the table looked great, we started to touch and take it apart, when waitier came over and said it wasn't our pizza it was the table next to ours, after we all ready touched it to put it on our plates, he fixed it, picked it up and brought gave it to the table in front of us, so wrong on so many levels, our procced to arrive at the table a couple minutes later only to be burnt on the bottom and barley any sauce or fresh mozzarella on top, after we had to wait and flag down our waited we explained that the situation with the pizza, he said don't worry he would take care of us. we asked for our appetizer to be boxed up, he asked if we waited anything else or desert no just the check, we had to wait quite a while, as the waited was no where to be seen, someone else dropped the check, which he over charged us, for the 2 pizza, he finally came over and we showed him the check, he said he was sorry, and when we said you were gonna take care of us due to the burnt pizza, a couple minutes later a girl came over with plates saying we ordered desert, we said no that we were waiting on the check, she came back over with the plates and said no your getting desert, which we cleared did not want. the desert and all 3 pizza's where on the check with the 2 salads an appetizer, for a total with his tip which was already in cluded for over $210.00 then he took off the 2 pizza and desert, but included in full tip of over $40.00 when we explained the check should be added up this way, and that nowhere does it state 20% tip would be included was a rip off and the waiter then disappeared. I highly don't recommend this restaurant, as the whole experience left a really bad taste in our mouths, bad service, food, and experience!!!!! read more

This is superb restaurant, to call it a pizza place is inaccurate as it is so much more. The ambiance is quite different than its original location in Milan, but it evokes the incredible Italian style and has a nod to the excitement of Miami - in the best possible way. The teams are highly trained to give patron an elevated experience. The drinks are perfection. The real starts are the pastas and the pizzas - never have i had pizza this fresh, with superior ingredients and a dough that is as thin as paper and well baked. You end up with a light and crunchy base and the items on top shine right through. Our friend from Milan said it tastes exactly like the main location in Milan. Did I mention that all pizzas are gluten-free? Light as a cloud! The fried calamari is insane - large calamari, shrimp and vegetables in a light crust (almost tempura-like) and not a drop of oil. For dessert, that's easy: the best Tiramisu ever! Next time will try the pastas, they look just as incredible as the appetizers and the pizzas. Can't wait to go back - bravo Le Specialita! read more
