Great service. Food was really good. Smoothies were not the best. I look forward to coming back.

Not impressed with quality or portion size. The bao was the only good thing we had. Our server was really sweet and accommodating. Also it is really bright inside so bring sunglasses or sit outside.

oh my goodness this is the go-to for winter lunches. the pho is so filling and the portions are huge for the price point. my boyfriend and i tried the Korean bbq and not only did our server guide our experience perfectly, it came out super great!! the k-pop videos are always fun to watch and as someone who gets overwhelmed easily in restaurants, it's super calm and not stressful at all. overall, 6/5 stars and i will be coming back:)

My husband and I tried Le Saigon for lunch for the first time. I'm very excited we stopped by. Leah was our server and she was great! She was very knowledgeable and attentive. She had such a bubbly attitude which we really appreciated, she answered all of the questions we had. I loved all of the natural lighting in the building. Our food and drinks were great! We will definitely be returning.

Le Saigon is a good choice of Asian cuisine in Hammond. The fusion of Vietnamese and Korean is unique and mostly everything is house made from their sauces to side dishes. Their food is pretty good with a large menu to choose from. My favorite items so far are the Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken, Bang Bang Shrimp Lettuce Wrap, Combination Vermicelli, and Pho Dac Biet. I had their KBBQ once for dinner and it was a fun and delicious experience. I have always wanted to try their banh mi but it has never been available since I have eaten there for the past year. Overall, a good Asian spot for lunch or dinner in the area. The availability of Korean BBQ in the Northshore is awesome. There is already a scarcity of KBBQ in New Orleans.

Umma (Mom) set and their pathetic portion of rice ($2!!!)

If you want to be stressed out at a kbbq table, this is the place for you! First off, how are you gonna serve just 2 small bowls (honestly, you can call them half-scoops) of rice for a BBQ package that's advertised to be for 4 people? Second, how are you gonna have options on the menu and tell us we cant get the other option? (We wanted to have Galbi for our table but the owner said we can only get Bulgogi because they only grill Galbi in the kitchen???) Third, the owner would not leave us alone to cook and eat our food. At one point, she took the bulgogi (that she shoved down our throats to get instead of the galbi) and put it all onto the grill while we were waiting for a portion of it to cook. She did the same thing when it was time to grill the spicy pork. Fourthly, the banchan (sides) that came with the set is a joke, almost like they were being overly cheap about it. I am no "Karen" and I love to give a place the benefit of the doubt but girl stressed us out! And $170 later, we knew we arent coming back to this establishment. Overall, our most recent experience with this place was just terrible. All we wanted to do was have a nice, chill night and have korean bbq, instead we got a stressed-filled experience ontop the afternoon we already had. We are definitely taking the extra hour drive to New Orleans for a better experience next time. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. To the servers here, I don't know how you put up with your boss.

Strawberry milk tea with tapioca. $4.75 plus $1.00 for tapioca. It was sweet but light!

    1. Lemongrass grilled pork: $15.95. Didn't taste any lemongrass but it was still good. 2. Brownie with ice cream: $5.95. Divine! 3. Korean vegetables pancake $8.95. My favorite item and the crispiest pancake ever! 4. Strawberry milk tea with tapioca. $4.75 plus $1.00 for tapioca. It was sweet but light! 5. Bang bang shrimp spring roll $6.25. Crispy delicious shrimps; wish they had more shrimps per bite not a major complaint. The decor of the place caught me off and was more presentable and elegant than I expected. I was imagining a hole in the wall when I first came here last night but I was proven wrong. Price wise, it's decent and the customer service is top notch. I would definitely come back here to try different items on the menu.

I ordered the combination plate, and it was worth every penny with generous portions and great variety. The building itself is small and tucked away in a shopping center, but it was packed to the brim when we visited, I can absolutely see why it's such a popular spot. Our waitress was very helpful and kind; although she seemed quite busy and a bit less attentive at times, she came by as much as she could. Overall, the food alone makes this place a must-visit, and I'll definitely be back.

Pho Cong had been in my bookmarks for awhile, so while on a recent trip to NOLA, I took a detour to…read moresee what the most hyped business on the north shore was all about. Their success in the form of local accolades are never-ending, along with countless high ratings across several platforms. My first impression was slightly underwhelming but I have no regrets and I certainly appreciate the effort. The place is family run and located in a strip mall with a handful of tables with a busy crowd of folks at any point of the week. There are a handful of group-friendly tables inside, along with a couple of tables outside. I came during their lunch rush, which resulted in a bit of a wait. When finally seated, I admired the hordes of staff going in and out of the kitchen, along with the waitresses handling groups of all sizes with ease. I ordered a good variety of food to make sure I didn't miss much. In addition to a combination pho dac biet ($17), bo vien ($14) and pho ga with banh mi combo ($18), I also ordered their coconut butterfly shrimp ($7), off menu crispy noodle bird's nest ($16.50), and a plate of fries ($5) for good measure. I noticed a lot of the food skewed on the sweeter side. The pho broth was good overall, but was still a tinge sweet. I was hoping for heartier cuts of the tendon and brisket, but it was a modest portion at best. The sweetness also applied to the sauce in the crispy bird's nest noodle, which reminded me of something I'd find in an American Chinese spot with the stir fry and overall presentation. While I was happy with the bread of the banh mi, the spicy mayo spread (?) threw me off a bit. I was hoping for pate and butter, but that may have to be a request-onyl thing. I started to realize that from the majority of the patrons, the semi-high prices, and the description-first format of the menu (#1), that it's likely that the place was really molding to the westernized palate. It makes sense in a place like Covington, which is not the same Vietnamese scene as say Houston. It also makes sense to have some non- Viet staff to make the place as approachable as possible. And regarding the staff, they were the best part of the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and did a good job of keeping the place clean and orderly (#2), while making sure everyone left with a smile on their face. They've clearly done an outstanding job since their start a handful of years ago. I think for folks who are clearly more adept in Vietnamese cuisine, should ensure they know what they're getting into prior to taking the leap. I would never rule out of a future return, but I think I'd have to already be in Covington and to make sure to taper my expectations. __________ (#1) "Vietnamese po-boy" for banh mi, "chunky beef" for bo luc lac, etc (#2) Especially the bathrooms. Only thing missing are paper towels.

The service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. It was a very cute establishment, but the food was just a big miss for me. I thought it was neat having several different choices of food, but I was expecting a little better quality food. The meat didn't taste all that great in my Udon combination. Not bad, just very cafeteria quality food. To be totally honest though, I think my hospital's cafeteria has much better food. We were recommended to try the honey garlic chicken, but we did not at all except to just receive a plate of fried chicken nuggets with honey mustard slathered all over them. Again, tasted just fine, but nothing special at all. The lo mein was quite bland to me. Never hurts to try something new though! Nonetheless, the happy hour was great. We got hot sake and egg rolls ($1.50!) and those were so good!! If I were in the area around happy hour, I would consider going back!
