Was traveling through the area on Christmas Day and didn't expect to find much of anything open. I asked the desk clerk at my hotel, and he said that the local Japanese restaurant was open. After calling to verify, I drove over and picked up some of the best food I have ever had. The young lady cashier took my order and told me to have a seat. We had a friendly, but brief chat while waiting for my order. It was prepared very quickly. Extremely happy and satisfied with my meal, and I will eat there again on my return trip. read more

Recv'd a Good Amount of Fried Rice, and about 8 Pieces of Steamed Broccoli, with about 7-8 Pieces of Scallops, BUT the Scallops were about the size of my Thumb Nail (Tiny!) and very over cooked. Also came with a 'salad' (aka some Iceberg lettuce) If You like Fried Rice, then this is a good meal, but the protein/meat was highly disappointing. I've had their shrimp habachi before and didn't like it (I believe they used frozen pre-boiled -no taste- shrimp, if I recall correctly; hence why I ordered the Scallops this time.) * 2 STARS - Deducted Stars for TINY Scallop size+Them being way over cooked. The SUSHI = I thought the Sushi was GOOD! I throughly Enjoyed All of it, and will be happily ordering more sushi from them again soon! This place is so good and the portions are huge. All this food was under $12! Any other hibachi restaurant would have charged $20+ for this at dinner time. You get teriyaki and yum yum sauce with it. It definitely fills any hibachi craving You're having. I get no veggies, no salad, and they give extra rice. The food is always ready in 10 minutes ish. The rice is perfect. I also got an order of gyoza. They cane with 6 for $4.95! Check this place out next time you're craving hibachi. I'm hoping one day they add noodles to the menu. Then I would just have to eat there everyday. The staff is always nice. Due to the virus, they have a window built outside the restaurant, so you can get your food without having to go in. read more

This is some great cheap, quick hibachi. I happened to search in Yelp for a cheaper alternative than Nagoya. Any other hibachi restaurant would had charged up to 22.00 for steak and chicken hibachi. Yall this place sold a to go order of steak and chicken hibachi with the vegetables and Ginger salad.... oh and 2 extra yum yum sauce for $12.95 including tax. The quality food is not what you will get from a sit down order of hibachi...but it was still great and amazing for the price. To he honest, I will be satisfying my hibachi craving here instead of paying the high restaurant prices. I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp. My boyfriend and I come here about once a week and we love it. It takes about 15 minutes whether it's to go or in house. You are served in to-go boxes but I don't mind it at all. Gave a 2 star because this is not a real resturant. It looks like a resturant with tables and chairs but you prepay at counter. So was lead to add a tip. Wrong move, no service except brought from back, all in to go boxes. Drinks were self serve and ice was bad with black spots. The food was good but very none traditional Asian food. The Tempura shrimp was good but had a corn meal coat not tempura. Fried sushi was the same way. Staff was behind counter, all 4 talking the whole time, was never asked if we were happy. read more

Great Experience. My wife and I were next door at the pet store adopting a cat and asked two employees about OEC. The employees highly recommended it, so we tried it. I ordered the Hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice and my wife ordered hibachi chicken and vegetables. We decided to eat inside. We had our salads within a couple of minutes of sitting down and the food was out in about 10 minutes. My wife and I both enjoyed our food. It was tasty and we will definitely be back. This is just a little fast food type Japanese restaurant. It doesn't have all of the menu items and the quality of a traditional Japanese restaurant. However, our food and service was good and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. read more

This is more of a take out restaurant. There are tables but pretty much once you get your food no service after you order. Ice machine needs to be cleaned. Ice cubes had mold. Food was okay but came in take out containers even though we dined in. Didn't realize we would not have any service when we paid up front especially since we left a good tip. Unsanitary serving practices (left my food on the counter and was exchanging money with a customer OVER my food, then grabbed one of my plates of food with her unwashed hands to carry it to my table and left my other plate of sushi alone AT THE REGISTER with customers standing over it). Ordered to go and told food would be done in 15 minutes which is amazing being we ordered gernal tso's chicken, sushi, spring rolls, wontons, beef and broccoli and each entre comes with fried rice. Serving size was huge we ate off of this for 2 days. Prices were pretty cheap as well, we got all of that for about $32. Giving 4 stars because a child answered the phone and took my order, no total was given nor did she take my name. Quick rushed order with an ok bye but atleast she got it right lol. read more

Those three letters mean everything to me. I have never been disappointed. The unbelievably low prices make you think you're getting average food, but you're actually getting amazingly delicious fantastic food. I always stick to the hibachi. I have a 30 minute lunch break and, when I placed my order over the phone, I was told it would be ready in 5-10 minutes. I waited about 5 minutes then drove over (another 5 minutes) but ended up having to wait another 15 minutes at the restaurant. I also paid for 3 extra ginger sauces but when I got back to my office to eat, there were no ginger sauces in my bag.
