    Amazing Hibiki whisky drink

This spot is hands down my favorite go-to spot in Denham Springs! The location is super convenient. Every time I come here, the sushi is fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. The specialty rolls are always so good, and everything I've tried has been delicious. Their hot pot is also SO good and such a fun experience. The broth is flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and it's perfect when you want something warm and comforting. It's hard to find a place locally that does both sushi and hot pot this well. What really makes this place stand out though is the exceptional service. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel appreciated every visit. It's one of those places that feels comfortable whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or having dinner with friends and family.

    Hot pot is additional $3.

New Restaurant in the old P-Beaus location. All you can eat sushi, hibachi, Hot pot. Made to order. Everything tasted wonderful. Wait staff and management were very attentive. There was a little communication issue with our waitress, who was having some difficulty understanding the fried rice we ordered, but they corrected it and got what we asked for. Really enjoyed the vibe. Looking forward to coming back and trying the hot pot and more sushi rolls.

The place is cute inside and out and I like the atmosphere but the food was alright. We went on a Thursday night and it wasn't too busy so the service was pretty quick and all the food looked fresh. We started off with some edamame, crab fingers and crab salad. I think the crab is a little mushy but the crab fingers are interesting. They are crab sticks, cream cheese and avocado deep fried, definitely interesting. Edamame was good, could use some salt. Couldn't finish the sushi rolls the crab is too mushy for me but the hot pot was decent and it was fun! Plenty of parking and have outside seating.

Great Service and experience really like the hibachi options. Sushi is good like the made to order concept over having a buffet bar.

The sushi was delicious, and the fish was very fresh. But my favorite was the hot pot -- it tasted just like the one I had in New York.

Enjoyments * Many fresh, hot buffet dishes…read more* Excellent egg rolls, wontons, honey chicken, black pepper chicken, pot stickers, Chinese donuts * Friendly atmosphere and attentive, gracious wait staff * Good ice cream bars for dessert * Full restaurant with only moderate noise * Great price Improvements * None that I have experienced Go YELP! Because it was my first time visiting Walker, Louisiana, I shopped on Yelp for restaurants near the place where I was to meet later that night, and when I stumbled upon this Chinese/Asian spot, I had a strong feeling, based on the highly positive reviews, that I was in for a treat there. BTW, I fully enjoy Yelp's feature that enables a person to view restaurants/other businesses near a given location before the user is in that location. But, back to the grub! You know that feeling you get when you walk into a place as if you've entered your home away from home for dinner? I rarely have that experience, but both times that I've been here, I was moved by those emotions. This place simply has quite a welcoming atmosphere. Further, I think many patrons experience these feelings as the place was packed well after the lunch hour this past Sunday afternoon. In addition to the ambiance, the buffet is stocked with a bevy of selections, and I found the dishes I heaped on my plates to be hot, fresh, and delicious. The egg rolls had a crispy, light batter with flavorful veggies inside. Unfortunately, I cannot remember all the names of the chicken dishes I enjoyed, but the sesame seed chicken, the black pepper chicken, and the honey chicken dishes definitely stood out to me. Further, I found the wontons to be a hit with a slightly crispy outer shell with a balanced mix of cheese and onions on the inside. I also found the Chinese donuts (small biscuits, sprinkled with sugar) to melt in my mouth as they were not excessively doughy and didn't taste like they'd been sitting around for a couple days before hitting my plate. The mushroom and pepper steak dishes were also very good. Before leaving, I was also blessed to find and enjoy tasty vanilla ice cream bars with chocolate coating. Yummy! In addition to the delectable eats, I was pleased and appreciative of the genuine friendliness and attentiveness of the wait staff. From my arrival to my departure, the employees seemed to be truly happy to serve me and my party. Moreover, my server was punctual in both taking my drink order and in keeping it topped off. Though I find most servers/workers of Asian restaurants to be friendlier than at other American restaurants, the attitude of the staff at Foo Chow seems to be a cut above the norm. Finally, though this restaurant was packed during both my visits, amazingly, the noise is not oppressively loud. Woohoo! Though the restaurant sits a few miles outside the main BR area, its wide selection of grub, tasty dishes, affordable cost, and happy ambiance makes Foo Chow a great first try for American Chinese food lovers.

This is an Asian buffet style restaurant. Sadly is is full of sub par dishes from a commercial…read morecompany. Specifically the cold boiled shrimp were mushy and smelled bad. The restaurant was not full. We were there early. Decor is basic. Tables and floors clean.
