Streetside continues to be one of my go-to favorites. I love my food here especially on Thursdays and Fridays. I usually get the happy hour eggrolls, won ton soup, maybe a crunchy roll for lunch. Eggrolls are the best. Sometimes I will get a Streetside Roll. Lately the sushi has been on point perfecto! Lunch is always pleasant and fun because I have gotten to know some of the staff around the bar area which is great to sit at for lunch. Dinner I usually get more - Streetside Roll OR a WonTon Noodle Soup - which is the best soup on planet earth and the soup of champions. Also, wok box is good. Beef and broccoli. Fried rice is great. Mixed veggies always great. Lo Mein always great. Asian is the strong point here IMO. I like the atmosphere and feel of this restaurant. Always a nice time. Value is acceptable and within reason. One note though - Sweep the floor around tables and booths more, and fully wipe tables and booth seats better. Sometimes there is food from previous party left on booth seats. I do not want to sit on other people's food debris. When you wipe a table it must be fully wiped and then you have to wipe the seats too. Then do a quick sweep of the floor before sitting the next party. Overall: One of the best places around town. I love it! read more

We came here on our way back to nola from a funeral, it was late, so our options were limited but ultimately chose Streetside Market. The service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. It was a very cute establishment, but the food was just a big miss for me. I thought it was neat having several different choices of food, but I was expecting a little better quality food. The meat didn't taste all that great in my Udon combination. Not bad, just very cafeteria quality food. To be totally honest though, I think my hospital's cafeteria has much better food. We were recommended to try the honey garlic chicken, but we did not at all except to just receive a plate of fried chicken nuggets with honey mustard slathered all over them. Again, tasted just fine, but nothing special at all. The lo mein was quite bland to me. Never hurts to try something new though! Nonetheless, the happy hour was great. We got hot sake and egg rolls ($1.50!) and those were so good!! If I were in the area around happy hour, I would consider going back! read more

1.Chinese food was good 2. BUT- service awful. We had drinks that had wasn't once refilled. I actually had to go get myself a refill. Our waitress had an attitude from the start but we thought ok, it is fine. She bagan to drop off food without acknowledging our drinks once again and asking us if anything was needed. So, the meals slowly all came out EXCEPT A SALAD. kept waiting and so we asked her as she walked by us fast where it was. She said "oh, it takes long" waited some more and then came back about 10 minutes later she said that the cook was on break. So okay,well, we continued to wait for that. Once it came, the chicken had extremely thick seasoning that was so overpowering. I had a great experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, with plenty of seating available. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. The food was delicious and came out quickly, which I really appreciated. They also have a variety of food options to choose from. I also went on a Tuesday, when they offer $5 martinis. I wish I could give six stars! My daughter took me here a month ago or so. I have not been able to stop thinking about the sushi tacos since. I know, Sushi tacos?!? These things will change your life. So imagine this.... Spicy tuna and seaweed salad topped with avacado and their secret sauce layered on a delicious perfectly deep fried tortilla. OMG, I wish I could eat these every day. I ordered these with a side salad topped with the best homemade ginger dressing I have ever eaten. I sat at the bar where I enjoyed talking with Austin, who did a great job pouring my Scotch and serving my food. I would call the inside of the restaurant Asian fusion, just like the food. There is a stage where there was a great guitar player singing some really good country tunes. Tonight's dinner was totally an overwhelming success! I totally recommend visiting Streetside. I visited Street Side Market on Friday, February 6, 2026, and had the worst service experience I've ever had. I sat at the bar for an extended period without being acknowledged. When the bartender finally decided to come over, her attitude was dismissive and irritated from the start. I ordered a King Cake martini, and while making it, she said, "This is going to taste like shit." That alone should tell you everything. My drink was brown, nothing like a festive King Cake martini, and tasted overwhelmingly like peppermint. It was disgusting. Before drinking it, I asked how much it was. Instead of answering a simple question, she made a dismissive hand gesture and avoided giving a clear response. Based on her own comment about the drink and her behavior, I assumed it would not be charged. When I later asked for the total, I was charged for it. To top it off, when I handed her my card to pay, she returned it by essentially tossing it onto the counter. I said "thank you," and she walked away without acknowledgment. The entire interaction felt hostile, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. Poor drinks happen. Poor service is a choice. Unfortunately, this experience reflected extremely poorly on the establishment. I will never return. read more

If you can't decide on whats for dinner this is the place for you. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was really good bc of wood fire. My mom ordered orange chicken and I'm not sure what she got but it was definitely not Asian food. It was good. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and came with some gravy and a side of fried rice which was the most Asian thing on the plate. If I'm in the area would come in to try sushi or another pizza. If you're looking for a new place to try then this place would be worth coming to. They have a very wide range of foods in the menu for you to try from sushi to pizza and so much more in between. Whether you're with your family or friends, there is plenty of seating to accommodate as they have outdoor seating available which is nice if the weather allows. Just plan to wait a bit as we came on a Sunday and the service was a bit slow so I would keep that in mind. Loved going to street side market! The waitresses there are so sweet and constantly checked on us. I got the Margherita pizza and a cheese pizza! They both were very appetizing. I also got the traditional egg rolls that come 2/per order. They were a must have. My friend got the beef and broccoli that we shared. It was definitely worth the price considering how much they give you. Overall, 10/10. Parking is easy to find. & I love that when you go there are so many options to choose from. Still love this place. Honey Glazed Shrimp and Honey Glazed Chicken was delicious!! Tried my first Cherry Margarita, which was also good. Wasn't a fan of the Mandarin Chicken, but the hubby liked it. This review is about the Japanese food; this is a place with many different cuisines to choose from and I only tried one. However my family tried other cuisines and all liked their food. The $14 "seafood salad" is basically a sashimi bowl. It is a very generous amount of very fresh sashimi for a low cost. It's served with veggies and a delicious sauce. I recommend ordering a side of sushi rice with it. Next time I'm in Hammond I'm going to go back and get the exact same meal! The service was prompt, there was a wait to get in on a Friday night and a text list that let you know when your table was ready, it was really packed with a lot of kids, and there was live music going on. We usually eat here 2-3 times a month and it's progressively getting worse. The service is absolutely atrocious, whether they have other tables or not it takes 10-15 minutes for the server to just greet the table then forever to get drinks out as well. we usually order the same thing every-time so we put it all in at once. and after drinks are dropped off to our table we don't see the server again until the check gets dropped off. Today especially our server was at all of her other tables brining them refills and their food ( they were large parties that were sat after us) we waited over an hour for sandwiches, while the big parties that came in after us got all of their food and the server was very active at their tables but couldn't even grab us refills. We ended up canceling the food that didn't come out after waiting roughly 1.5 hours. I understand food taking longer than normal on a busy day but when a server doesn't even walk past your table or acknowledge you it feels as though the wait staff should be trained better. read more

Came with a group as it was recommended due to the variety of options on the menu. The interior was quirky but cute. There were little "stations" like a market but you are seated and provided with menus as if you are at a singular restaurant. As the menu suggests "Global Cuisine," it is indeed expansive and eclectic. Some of those in the party got sushi. Some got Chinese. Some got sandwiches and fries, and one got pizza. I had the beef and broccoli and shared the side of lo mein with my daughter. Both dishes were good but nothing blew me away. The food was also not served at the same time, which was kind of disappointing. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy what they ordered, and the company was good.
