Breaux bao-chicken 10/10 soft as a cloud almost couldn't eat it because it was so perfect! Photo doesn't do justice

10/10 all the way around! Decided on this spot for a date night and left beyond pleased! From the atmosphere-service-FOOD, I can honestly say this is such a hidden gem in downtown Hammond! Our waiter also recommended each of our dishes which made things even more fun for us, not pictured is my entree the "Seoul rice bowl" quite possibly to die for it was SO good!!

We were visiting family this weekend and decided to try a new Asian spot I found. Super fun vibe inside. Our waiter David, was absolutely amazing. Best waiter we've had in awhile, pre bussed, filled drinks, juggling an almost full house. Food came out rather quickly. We literally ordered a bit of everything. Nothing we ordered was bad. Great portions, presentation was great, and the fusion flavors were very nicely put together. The stand out dishes were the crab rangoon, actual real crab. The praline riblets, tender with amazing flavor profile, the Seoul bowl, the chili chicken, the beef and mushrooms and all three of the desserts. The vanilla bourbon bun was just amazing. Fresh ingredients and we didn't feel like crap after eating, nothing was heavy. FYI parties of 6+ have an automatic gratuity added. The only flaw we had was the ventilation, it got a tad smokey once they got busy. Also the baos and the Rangoon could've had a tad more filling; but taste was great. So glad to see Hammond upping their restaurant game. I hope this place does really well, we will definitely come back when we're in Louisiana again.

I've been to this place twice so far and almost everything has been fantastic! I forgot to get a picture of the potstickers because we INHALED them so fast! 10/10 would go back and order just those as my meal The beef and broccolini was good, I enjoyed it. The chicken miso was just okay, a little bland and wasn't expecting the really thick noodles. My husband added his side of spicy sauce to it and ate all of it for dinner last night. Might try the pork miso next time! The spicy ramen was too spicy for me but my husband loved it, just wished it had more meat. He's already asking when we're going back to get more! And the ube tart OH MY GOODNESS! It was fantastic, we devoured the whole thing in like 2 minutes flat. I work at a bakery with all the free pastries I could eat and I'd still go over there just for one of those tarts to satisfy my sweet tooth. When we went back I tried the mandarin chicken and it was SO DELICIOUS! I just had to ask for extra sauce cause it didn't come with enough. Can't wait to go back and try more, all the staff was super nice and friendly. Had all the servers stop to bus the table or refill our drinks, definitely turning into a fave!

Was very nice to experience something truly unique from everything else in hammond. Service is good, Chef truly cares about every person in the place! I will be back to try more.

The service was wonderful, our waiter was very attentive, helpful, and friendly. It was a very cute establishment, but the food was just a big miss for me. I thought it was neat having several different choices of food, but I was expecting a little better quality food. The meat didn't taste all that great in my Udon combination. Not bad, just very cafeteria quality food. To be totally honest though, I think my hospital's cafeteria has much better food. We were recommended to try the honey garlic chicken, but we did not at all except to just receive a plate of fried chicken nuggets with honey mustard slathered all over them. Again, tasted just fine, but nothing special at all. The lo mein was quite bland to me. Never hurts to try something new though! Nonetheless, the happy hour was great. We got hot sake and egg rolls ($1.50!) and those were so good!! If I were in the area around happy hour, I would consider going back!

But we checked before leaving that cool but whack place and came here! Friendly greeting and we sat at the communal table. They were out of some things and we just ordered the Original Tori. I also had some hot green tea. It wasn't long before the hot bowls of warmth and comfort came out. Really good broth! That is the key. If the broth is bad, everything else doesn't work. Nicely prepared pork belly and firm noodles. This washed away all the earlier negativity. The young woman who served us was great! Friendly and upbeat! If I had one complaint, it was the hard boiled egg. Should be soft boiled. Other than that, this place is solid! Definitely worth checking out!

Don't get me wrong, it's still yummy...You also have to pay like an extra dollar for fixings that should and don't come with the soup like corn for example. It's pretty easy to leave there having paid close to $30 on one blow of soup. So while it's good soup...idk if it's $25-30 good...

The presentation was impressive, and you can tell care goes into the kitchen side of things. The ambiance is also nice and makes for a good date-night or casual dinner spot. Unfortunately, the service really fell short. We ordered edamame and waited over 15 minutes, only to find out it had been sent to another table. One of the servers mentioned that if they mess up, they have to pay for the dish themselves -- which honestly felt awkward and unnecessary to share with customers. Our sushi also took over 15 minutes to come out. Throughout the meal, our server seemed disengaged and largely ignored our table. When I asked for additional chopsticks, she looked at me and walked away to assist other tables. I eventually had to get up and ask if she heard me, and she replied yes. The interaction felt cold and impersonal, like she was just going through the motions rather than providing attentive service. Overall: great food, nice atmosphere, but very disappointing service on this visit. Hoping this was just an off night because the sushi itself was excellent.

Side note, they had the christian radio station playing throughout the restaurant, which felt like an odd choice.

It's dangerous that I pass it on the way home because when I have a bad day or want comfort food, I end up here. It has your basic Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese products. Anything from egg tarts to dumplings/gyoza to kimchi to natto to pho broth. They have a lot of canned/bottled drinks, like Thai tea, Yeo's soy milk, milk tea, coffee drinks. All the sauces you need. And of course the snacks many of us know from childhood, like prawn crackers or Marukawa bubble gum. For the size, I was very impressed with this cute little shop. It's clean and organized, well stocked, and they're so friendly there. Honestly, prices are also super reasonable. They could totally jack up prices more and get away with it, since it's the only shop of its kind in this area. So I decided on 5 stars because while I do wish they had more non-frozen actual food and more variety, for their size, they're doing the best that they can. You can't walk into a store this size and expect an H-Mart or Assi or Hong Kong Supermarket. And the fact that they appeal to all the Asians is pretty darn great for this side of Baton Rouge. Overall, I would highly recommend. Come here for snacks, dessert, or getting ingredients for cooking. Just beware. You might end up getting more junk food than you anticipated!
