They also offer Boba Tea/Smoothies, Teriyaki Bowls, Sushi Burritos, Sushi, Ramen, and Hibachi items. But with a name like Poke City, the Poke bowls are what they are known for. That was completely fine with us. What wasn't fine was the way the situation was handled. When I told the hostess that we were willing to wait and asked to be seated, she suggested that we leave instead and said she would come back with the time frame and "hopefully we'll be available." This was especially frustrating considering there were open tables and seats visible, it was cold outside, and we were traveling with two toddlers. We also don't live in the area, so leaving and "hoping" to return wasn't a realistic option. If the kitchen was backed up, that's understandable -- but the lack of accommodation, empathy, or even basic courtesy made us feel unwelcome. First impressions matter, and this experience felt less like managing a wait and more like being brushed off. I can't speak to the food because we never got the chance to try it, but based on customer service alone, I wouldn't recommend this place -- especially to families or out-of-town visitors.

I do not want to sit on other people's food debris. When you wipe a table it must be fully wiped and then you have to wipe the seats too. Then do a quick sweep of the floor before sitting the next party. Overall: One of the best places around town. I love it!

When I asked for additional chopsticks, she looked at me and walked away to assist other tables. I eventually had to get up and ask if she heard me, and she replied yes. Anything from egg tarts to dumplings/gyoza to kimchi to natto to pho broth. They have a lot of canned/bottled drinks, like Thai tea, Yeo's soy milk, milk tea, coffee drinks. All the sauces you need. And of course the snacks many of us know from childhood, like prawn crackers or Marukawa bubble gum. For the size, I was very impressed with this cute little shop. It's clean and organized, well stocked, and they're so friendly there. Honestly, prices are also super reasonable. They could totally jack up prices more and get away with it, since it's the only shop of its kind in this area. So I decided on 5 stars because while I do wish they had more non-frozen actual food and more variety, for their size, they're doing the best that they can. You can't walk into a store this size and expect an H-Mart or Assi or Hong Kong Supermarket. And the fact that they appeal to all the Asians is pretty darn great for this side of Baton Rouge.
