Came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner. We were both amazed! The service was spectacular! The ambiance was incredible and the food was even better. Got a free dessert for celebrating our anniversary which was a plus. Would recommend this place over and over!

Service is excellent as usual however the steak frites came in lukewarm Snails are spectacular here! We also put an order for a soufflé at the beginning of a meal and that was yummy especially in combination with their earl grey cream tea.

Had a wonderful time! I came a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious. Service was okay but there was a special birthday event so I don't think that was the norm. Our table ordered mussels and scallops as small plates which were FANTASTIC. The scallop was resting on a bed of a bean medley stewed in red wine. The mussels were in a garlic cream sauce served with bread. The crab chowder was so so. There were string pieces of crab as if the real crab was in the building next to us and a very strong wind came through and blew the small pieces in the wind into the soup. The Chilean sea bass was spectacular. The potatoes were not that great but the vegetables were yummy. Ended the night with the pear tart with icecream! It was good. No more no less.

I wouldn't have thought to try this restaurant except my friend, Rachel, said it was her favorite place in Tucson. And it is lovely! I sat in the bistro area the first time I visited and the dining room the second time. I slightly prefer the bistro because I was a little too close to the service area in the dining room. The service is friendly and much more down to earth than most French restaurants I've been to. The cocktails are a little too sweet for me, so I probably should have stuck to wine, but the drink was well prepared. All the dishes I've tried have been delicious, although the presentation on the beef wellington is the standout. Don't forget to pre-order a souffle! Too bad I don't live closer.

Brie en Croute

Excellent food. Poor service. The Brie en Coutre was melty, warm, savory and sweet all in one... and i did question if i wanted to share! The Saint Jacques (scallops) were cooked to perfection with balanced garlic and hint of citrus. The beef Wellington was tender and packed with flavors. Dessert included their famous Grand Marnier Soufflé and crepes suzettes (ps- both these desserts have orange flavor). They have a good cocktail and wine menu too. Medium size restaurant with an intimate feel with french music piped in (though I may have caught some Spanish music.., but don't hold me to it). No complaints on the food. The level of service however was not what I expected. Our waiter ignored us most of the time , was inattentive and did not provide a positive service experience.

I joined my clients/friends for dinner. It's been years since I've been here. It was a busy night and there was a small standing area inside. We sat in the "casual" section of the restaurant. I was told there is a formal section with table cloths and the casual side does not. I had the salmon and it was the best salmon dish I've ever had. The salmon was moist with a flavorful orange basil cream sauce. The only disappointment were the potatoes. They were tough and soggy. The restaurant quieted down after the large parties left. Overall it was a nice dinner.

This place has been around for a while, but this was my first time eating here. First, the service. Everyone was super friendly and the server was attentive to the tables needs. We didn't wait more than about two minutes before someone attended our table, brought the bread and butter, and filled our cups with water and took our drink order quickly. During our visit the server(s) constantly kept up with the table. Taking orders and clearing plates. After dinner they immediately brought a sample of all the desserts to see and brought everything out quickly. We didn't feel rushed at all either. Great service! Second, the atmosphere. The place was super clean and quiet. Great place to go especially if you want a quiet place to eat. With this place being fairly small, it's a good idea to get reservations. Thirdly, the food. I ordered the Wellington. The beef was so tender and cooked to a perfect medium rare temp. The puff pastry was exactly what it should be. It was very well complemented by the mushroom paste which gave it the earthy flavor without being overpowering. Together, this was a great Wellington. The vegetables it came with were also very flavorful and cooked well. Even though I don't eat a lot of vegetables, I ate them all here! My wife ordered the duck and it was delicious! Extremely flavorful and tender. The cherry bourbon reduction was very well put together and I would highly recommend either dish. For dessert, I ordered the crème Brulé. Very nicely done. Crispy sugar top with a nice warm pudding underneath. To finish it was sprinkled with powered sugar and strawberries. All is all, this was a five star experience. There really isn't a large selection of French restaurants in this town, and this was a great choice. If you're in the area, or a local, give this place a try. You'll be glad you did. Cheers.

Wow, so impressed with this restaurant! The service is probably one of the best in town and the servers are bartenders as well. Every item we had off the menu was delicious! I recommend the duck, I ate the whole thing. The interior is her vibey for a romantic date night! Can't wait to go back!

Bruléed Fashion

We went to Les Rendez-vous for a birthday date night, and were overall pleased with the food and cocktails, but the service didn't quite match the expectations set by the fine-dining tone. Let's start with the positives: the meal, which is the most important! We got cocktails to start, and the Bruléed Fashion was a real treat! The drink is largely a standard Old Fashioned, but the server coats an orange slice with sugar and brulées it tableside as a garnish to the cocktail. The showmanship was really fun, and the drink itself was delicious. The beet salad was an excellent starter, with gorgeously marinated beets and rich goat cheese. The acidic vinaigrette was a lovely counterpoint to the beets and cheese, making for a light, zingy salad. For entrees, we got the veal medallions and the scallops. Both dishes came with roasted potatoes and vegetables, and we also got some fries as an additional side. The scallops in particular were lovely! They had a great sear, but were still very tender and moist. Their flavor was very well complemented by the garlic aioli on which they sat. It was a delicious meal, worthy of five stars, but the service pulled my overall rating down. Summary of the less-than-ideal service: when we walked in, multiple staff members looked at us, but made no move to acknowledge us (even just a "someone will be with you in a moment" would have been appreciated). We waited for quite some time before someone came over and sat us, and then the wait for a server commenced. Suffice it to say that, while we were in no rush, there's only so long you can look around wondering who your server is before you start to wonder if anyone has been assigned your table at all. Our server did eventually come by, but there were lots of other little things for which we had to flag down other staff -- missing silverware, not being offered bread though other tables had it, water refills... It by no means ruined the evening, but the service didn't live up to the standards of other fine-dining restaurants.

Celebrated our anniversary this evening at Le Rendezvous. It is a charming place. Small and elegant. I had the scallops which were very good and the Anna potatoes are a crunchy delight. The vegetables were too salty and overly seasoned, but that was my only complaint. The severs were personable and friendly. One of the things I loved most is they have a genuine Paris vibe. The meal is slow, relaxed and leisurely with lots of time between courses. If your look for a place for a special occasion, Le Rendezvous is a great choice.

Diane D.

Our favorite restaurant when we visited Tucson. A bit busy but understandable since it's high quality food. Classy servers. The duck pate and the beef Wellington were to die for!

Beef Wellington
Jodi W.

I had no idea there was French food like this in Tucson. I mentioned this to our waitress and was told what year they opened and boy do I feel dumb. I believe it was here back in the 80's. Lol. Anyway, after spending seven weeks in Paris last Spring, I came home craving some of what I had. Especially the French Onion Soup. I also was looking for a Beef Wellington in Tucson which initially grabbed my attention. I had both. They were great. The drinks came quickly, and everything was perfect. They do seem to have two separate types of dining rooms. One has white table cloths, and seems a bit more formal. That was the side I assumed we would get when I made a reservation, but we ended up seated where I could have just not dressed up. No big deal though. Same kitchen lol. Our service was a tad discombobulated, which is why I took off the star, but of no fault of the servers. I think our table was in being taken care of by two servers on accident and in the middle they dealt with it?? This is just me having been in the industry so I am just guessing. Either way, we still ate and it was a perfect meal and restaurant. Highly recommend.

Coq au Reisling
Judy M.

We celebrated our anniversary here and enjoyed the experience very much. The service was very good, and while some may not appreciate the length of time between courses, and even between ordering them, we really appreciated not being rushed. What a luxury to not feel pushed out of a restaurant. Servers were attentive and friendly, but not obtrusive. The ambience was lovely, with music playing pleasant tunes, even Edith Piaf was heard. It seemed to stop as it got livelier in the restaurant, I'm guessing to not compete. We started by sharing the Trio de Champignons, which was mushrooms, Brie, puff pastry and butter. So delicious, and glad we split it due to the richness. Perfect size for an appetizer too. I ordered the Coq au Riesling, which I found to be excessively salty. The vegetables were an unremarkable mix of squash and carrots, also a tad over seasoned for my taste. We split a dessert, a pithivier, which was a puff pastry with an almond center, almost like a marzipan, served with a scoop of ice cream. We practically licked the plate clean. Despite the over seasoning (to me) of some of the food, we'd definitely come back.

It was absolutely delicious and all the flavors compliment one another perfectly. The batter stayed crispy even with the slaw on top and the orange-chili jam balanced it nicely. I love that the entire dinner menu is 20% off for happy hour 4pm-6pm. The regular price seemed high to me for the serving size but I could definitely tell that they put effort and creativity into the dish. The menu changes seasonally and the food tasted very fresh and interesting. I hope to see them add some plant-based items to their breakfast and lunch menus the next time the menu shifts with the season. Vegan, vegetarian and GF items are clearly marked. They have nice outdoor seating with sprinklers. I will mention that the food took about 40 minutes to come out even when they didn't seem busy, it was not a problem for me but just noting that it might not be a good spot to come to in a rush. For what it costs to dine here, it has to be impressive. $200+ for two. Cocktails were not anything special. It just wasn't that good for the cost. Buffalo Trace Manhattan lacked the flavors of a well executed Manhattan. We had the Oysters Rockefeller which was excellent. Balanced flavors, not overly cheesy and one of the better versions of this we've had. Then it went downhill. The Halibut was dry. Overcooked. Flavors were okay. The fish felt like I was chewing through wet paper. The rack of lamb, it was not good. Flavors were lacking, no crust, and it was soggy. Portions were generous with 7-8 pieces, but at the cost of ~$70, which, as a special menu item, was not listed. Not too generous after all. Wild Garlic Grill has a habit of trying to plate the same vegetables on practically every single plate. Don't get me wrong, I love vegetables, but this just doesn't work. The plate is overpacked with watery vegetables that dilute the flavors or ruin the crust of the meats. We stopped coming here over 5 years ago, but after several online groups recommended it, we decided to try again. I'm not sure we'll be back this time.

From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, we never felt like guests. We felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction reminded us that hospitality isn't just something your staff does. It's who they are. Our dinner at the Grill with Nick was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. His professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were extraordinary. He seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even knew we needed it, and his recommendations, along with the pairings from the house sommelier, elevated an already incredible meal into an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional, but sharing it while watching the sun disappear over the horizon made it feel almost magical. It's one of those evenings we'll talk about for years. The next morning, Cal made brunch every bit as memorable. So many resorts save their best effort for dinner and let breakfast become an afterthought. Not here. The quality of the menu, the freshness of the ingredients, and the level of service were every bit as impressive. It was another reminder that excellence isn't reserved for special occasions at your resort. It's simply your standard. Preston continued that experience the following day, and Steve, our host, welcomed us with the kind of kindness that instantly makes you feel at home. Steve is one of those people who genuinely love what they do because they're that good, and they make you feel welcome. There's something special about walking into a room and feeling like people are genuinely happy you're there. That's exactly how your team made us feel. One of our favorite memories came from spending time at the Terraza Garden Lounge with Ethan. By the second visit, he already remembered our favorite drinks and greeted us like old friends. Those small moments may seem insignificant, but they're the moments people remember long after the vacation ends. They create connections that no beautiful building or incredible view ever could. Yes, your resort is stunning. The views are breathtaking, the grounds are immaculate, and every corner feels like a postcard. But if someone asked us what truly sets this place apart, our answer wouldn't be the scenery. It's your people. They create an experience that can't be manufactured or copied. They make visitors feel valued, cared for, and genuinely welcome. That's a rare gift, and it's what will bring us back year after year. I'll admit there was a small part of me that almost didn't want to write this review because I selfishly wanted to keep this little slice of heaven our own secret.
