Lemongrass Steak Banh Mi with a fried egg
    Christopher V.

Huge portions and great food here! Tried Le Pho and was not disappointed. First of all the service was great, our server kept making sure that we didn't need anything. The food was also really delicious and was all shareable. The banh mi was one of the best ones that I've ever had! The fried rice was also very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant itself is quiet and very roomy.

It's hard to find Vietnamese food in Los Angeles, but le pho is pretty decent. Situated in WeHo, it's hard to find parking by default, my group was just lucky we came when the meters were free. We got a rice plate and a pho, and were so hungry I forgot to take a picture before digging in. The rice plate was supposed to be a lemon grass pork, but the lemongrass wasn't as obvious to me. However, it paired well with the sauce on the side and I like that they have ginger sauce and house chili-vinegar sauce on the table. I also liked that the veggies were perfectly cooked - not undercooked stringy or over cooked mushy. The pho was decent and had a generous portion of meat for one person. The service is good! There were only two staff people for the late evening shift but I felt that our group was taken care of. The restaurant itself is nice, plenty of tables and has an outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. I also really appreciated that the bathroom was clean and well-stocked.

I ordered the pho with thinly sliced beef and tendons. The tendons were AMAZING. The pho broth in my opinion was okay. It wasn't THE BEST pho I've had here in LA. The indoor dining area was pretty. Parking in front of the place, had street parking which was nice and easy for me on a Thursday evening about 6pm. My only complaint was the beef, but to be fair I did order my beef on the side raw. Most places have the beef REALLY thin and paper like to where it cooks pretty fast in the broth. The beef they brought was much darker.. than I was use to. And it was pretty thick. I put all the beef in my broth immediately after but the beef was not cooked. It had a very "beefy" raw flavor to it. It made it hard to enjoy the pho. I took all the beef out of my bowl and just enjoyed the broth and the noodles. Would I come back? Probably not. There was only one server at this time and he was amazing. Props to the service and was super sweet.

Food was good. Service was great. Our server Tracy explained everything on the menu to the T. A Hawaii connection. The restaurant was spacious and I liked the decor. Nice place to stop by and have some Pho.

We came super hungry after a convention and the parking was so convenient here. We ordered Beef Combo Pho and something my uncultured butt can describe as a surf and turf crepe. It all tasted great and the meat servings in the Pho was generous. We came starving, we left happy. The gentleman who served us was so friendly and patiently explained everything to us and made us feel so welcomed! The setting is nice and clean. I especially loved how clean the bathroom was too.

Phenomenal Pho if you are a vegan Got the vegan Pho. Super tasty! Tofu was top notch. I'm so happy Service was amazing, not too busy. Nice place

First time here and it was super cute inside! Ordered the lemongrass pork rice plate and it sooo tasty! It came with a fish oil sauce on the side that definitely took the meal to the next level. We got takeout but would definitely return to dine in. Great service as well!

Big fan of pho, first time guest at this restaurant in West Hollywood. Loved the service here over everything, she really gave us recommendations and went over the menu very well with us. They were busy and she still was friendly and personable so that definitely giving it a 4 star for me. The beef pho itself was good, I've just had better. The flavor needed just a little something extra to it to stand out. Nothing wrong with it, just kinda basic. The Thai tea was good, never can go wrong with those. Would come again if i was in the area.

My absolute favorite Pho spot! Always great service, the kind owner is always so helpful! I have had many pho spots all across LA , this is definitely the most consistent, tasty , and comforting bowl of pho you will ever have! I would give 10 stars if I could!

100 percent go and come back. And come back again. The handmade sauces alone are a reason to come here. Pho was comforting, healthy, big and delicious. Service was excellent and ambiance is calming and fun. Excellent all around. I was not feeling my best the day we went here but afterward I was so much happier.

They have a small parking lot shared among many businesses if you drive over. We were warmly greeted and service was excellent throughout the entire meal. Their Karage was so juicy & plump, cut into slices rather than the nuggets you usually see. It was so incredibly delicious with tartar sauce & a chili oil served to compliment it. What makes Laki Ramen special is their Chicken Paitan/Baitang style ramen, which is rich & creamy and more importantly chicken-based. You usually only see pork-based ramens so this is a welcome change and I love having a speciality shop like this in Los Angeles. It left me feeling less heavy than with donkatsu ramens and has a few thinly sliced chicken pieces on top. I went with the Matcha Ramen which they only serve 10 of each day! But wow, was it nice and I absolutely loved it. Not to mention, the color was so pretty haha! I couldn't resist getting their Matcha Lemonade, as well, and I loved it so matcha ! That matcha lemonade is quali-tea!!! We also tried Laki's Chicken Cutlet Curry and absolutely loved it. Again, cooked perfectly in a rich and flavor-filled curry sauce. Everything we had at Laki Ramen was delicious! We agreed we'll be back and are intrigued to try their Clam Chowder Ramen! Oh and their music was fire!!! Aaliyah, TLC and Tupac!? There is sometimes street parking but the availability is rough, it's tough to park, and even one of the meters we ended up at just didn't work. They only charge a $5 cash service charge though, which isn't bad. We were lucky to be seated right away, even in a packed restaurant. The restaurant has a surprisingly modern design, and is comfortable for as small as it is. We were quickly served their signature kimchis and barley rice. The kimchi, particularly the yeolmu (young summer radish) kimchi, has a unique flavor profile well suited to their food. We ordered 2 bowls of their plain kalgooksu, 1 bibim milmyun, and 1 tteokbokki. The food came out fairly quickly. The kalgooksu was as expected the star of the show. The anchovy broth brings a savory complexity that seems impossible for a soup made from just dried fish and a few other ingredients. It even has a rich, almost thick, quality to it that is surprising for a fish broth. Their noodles, the titular kalgooksu, have the signature irregularity and chew of knife cut noodles. I appreciate the vegetables that always come in kalgooksu, like potato, pumpkin, and zucchini, which offer an earthy heartiness to the light soup. My only complaint is that the potato is in huge irregular chunks, and is barely cooked, though I feel like I have had this issue with many of the kalgooksu bowls I've had over the years. The bibim milmyun was solid. I think that I prefer the texture and flavor of naengmyeon buckwheat noodles, but the milmyun, which are made with mostly wheat flour, still provide a satisfying chew. The sauce tasted bright and fresh, especially with a splash of added vinegar. It also came with a small side portion of spicy pork and some rice paper to wrap. The tteokbokki was the one let down of the meal. To be fair, I wasn't expecting much out of tteokbokki at all restaurant like this whose specialty is essentially the opposite. I ordered the tteokbokki as a "safe pick" for a picky eater in the group. It turned out to be a bit mediocre in our opinion, and that friend ended up enjoying their kalgooksu anyways. If you're looking to try this dish, it's definitely one of if not the best I've had in Southern California, so I'd totally recommend it.
