    Croissant and hot chocolate

We stopped in at 11 hoping to get lunch but lunch doesn't start until 12. So I just ordered a croissant and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate wasn't good. It tasted like water but the croissant was good. Light and flaky.

Came here after a family outting to Notre Dame. Our baby was asleep in the stroller so we wanted to take advantage of some sit down dining close by and this place had great reviews. I ordered the saucisse aveyronnaise which came with a nice side salad and aligote (cheesy mashed potatoes). The food was very good, the sausage came with a nice dipping sauce which tasted like a broth. The aligot was served hot and has plenty of cheese mixed in. My only qualm was the decaffeinated coffee I ordered (I know I shouldn't have high hopes for this but it was nearing 5pm and a regular coffee would have me wired). My coffee was served with some grounds in it and tasted so watery ( I ordered a coffee con crème) I couldn't even finish it.

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Such a pleasant lunch for us. Would come again easily.

Super cute, family-owned Parisian bistro!! The owner, Bruno is very nice and attentive. He took our orders and served us. His wife, Veronique is the chef! We ordered their p'tite Croque (mouth-watering), the escargots (divine) and their rib-eye (with a savory sauce). My little one had their kids grilled chicken and fries and this picky and loved it! We polished off a tarte du jour (plum) which was so good, and a chocolate sundae. Super cozy and frequented by native Parisians. Also a great spot just to have a drink, they carry a nice selection of wines and beers. Super reasonably priced.

Pros: Three stars for the greetings and seated right away. Wine was good. They have free Wi-Fi. Nice ambiance, good location near the metro station. Cons. Food had absolutely no taste. I got a vegetarian plate and my partner ordered the chicken plate. We also ordered a soup to share. We had to add salt and pepper to all dishes, in order to eat them. The vegetable plate only had creamed cauliflower and lettuce on the side. Chicken plate had a drumstick and lettuce or fries on the side.

One of the finest meals I've ever had in Paris. Get this.

For a place that is smack dab in the middle of everything, this place was very much a hidden gem Boxed in by the little heard of Rue De Rivoli, Hotel de Ville, tour Saint-Jacques, and this little island that has some church called Notre Dame on it, Le P'tit bistro is wayyyyyy off the beaten path*. I was, of course, a little surprised by the incredibly high ratings this place had considering its location, but it is of course Paris, and as such, most restaurants are incredible regardless if they are located in such a touristy place. As others have mentioned, the service was absolutely outstanding here. What felt like it must have been the owner came to greet us and take our drink orders. He then offered suggestions about what kind of cheese to order and what sides would go well with the mains we ordered. OH man and those mains. The steak was incredible but the star of the show was the sausage (Saucisse Aveyronnaise) with cheese mashed potatoes. Absolutely perfect, one of the finest meals I've had in all my times in Paris (I have only found this once before, and it was a special). If you're doing touristy things in this touristy part of town, but want a good meal at a VERY very reasonable price**, this place is for you. ___________ *And by off the beaten path, I mean in the heart of everything. **Oh yeah, and all of the amazing stuff we had here was reasonably priced.

We LOVED this place! Our first night in Paris we were looking for some place to sit down and eat with our 4 year old. We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We sat down and ordered and everything we had was delicious. I loved my steak and we loved the snails so much, my 4 year old requested we ordered about round. The staff was lovely, spoke English perfectly and was just super sweet, answered all our questions and just made us feel really at home. When we woke up the next morning my kid asked to go back for breakfast to get more snails because "they were soooo delicious!" When we're back in Paris we will definitely be back to enjoy some more food at this beautiful place.

Food was fantastic! Service was great! They were very nice and all meal was amazing! We had the onion soup to start, my husband had the burger and I had the steak! Many locals here.

Saucisse Aveyronnaise is highly recommended. If you do not like the cheesy mashed potatoes, ask for the replacement fries.

So the little red door has a cute red door but the bouncer lets you in through another door (novelty observed haha). The man takes your jacket and umbrella (what a gentleman!) and sat us on the second floor. While the space between the couch and the seats were rather small, we were able to manage. I got the permaculture and resilience. The resilience is a club favorite and my favorite too! The way the sorghum, pineapple sage (syrup), pasquet cognac, and savanna rum all tied together was a blessing. I was going to get a third but I was tipsy by my second drink. My first drink was the permaculture and while I was considered it would be strong, it didn't seem strong to me. I love clarified dairy in alcohol so this was a win in my book. It consists of chestnut, butter, wakaze umeshu, avallen Calvados. The bar let's you stay for an hour but if you sit elsewhere, you can stay as long as you want. 5 stars and I hope to come back someday!
