Delicious martinis and fries with cheese on top!
    Caity C.

Wow! I got stuck in Paris for the night and stumbled across this spot as it was near our hotel. We found a seat right away, and the service was surprisingly quick! It was late so it was pretty quiet on the patio. The inside was lively and our servers were very kind. They spoke English and Spanish, so there weren't any language barriers. The patio was very dog-friendly. We only had cocktails and cheese fries but it was all so good! The fries reminded us of in-n-out from back home. Their mezcal martini was delicious and their pornstar martini was to die for! The pornstar martini came with a shot of champagne to add to it, which was a fun touch. Both were so good, we each had 4-5 cocktails! Getting stuck in the city during the Olympics was definitely not ideal, but the friendly staff and great drinks turned our night around. I would definitely go back for a full meal!

Nice classic cafe/restaurant. Amazing for vegetarians looking for tasty Parisian food with normal service. Enjoy year after year

Nice place for a happy hour drink and to people watch on a busy street in Paris. Service is slow aka the Parisian standard.

The corner is a great spot to people watch. If you can get an outdoor table your in for hours of walk by entertainment. We started in just planning on drinks, aperol spritz is hard to mess up. Went with a mixed cheese and meat plate after we were 3 drinks in. The place is nice and views are good.

Love the decor and colors! We sat inside since all the outdoor tables were full on a beautiful spring day but I thought it was quite nice to see the neon sign and pretty bar area. The service was friendly. They had a menu in English! Which was a great help. I thought it was very cute the way in unfolded since it's a small table. Our food was excellent! The baked camenbert With honey had great flavor. My ratatouille was so nice and felt healthy! My sister enjoyed her chevre salad. The happy hour drink specials were fantastic!

Loved this place. They sat us very quickly (4) and the staff was very attentive. We ordered what was a lunch to us and it hit the spot. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant/Brasserie. It's on Rue Cadet... great place to stroll around and people watch.

The staff was both friendly and tried to take advantage of me "not knowing my euros", they tried to convince me I'd not left enough when I hadn't left a tip. So I had decided then to not leave a tip. The burger wasn't anything to be excited about, fries were good, drink menu was full. :)

French onion soup- 2.5 star. Def have had better

This was the first French food restaurant visited, so it was the start of my journey to French food within the country. We stumbled upon this place while walking the streets, were desperately hungry, and since it looked popular enough, we entered. The service was okay...long time for them to take orders, takes a while for food to arrive, any additional things you ask for is also a delayed response (be it water, food, or condiments). While unfortunately, the next table that spoke fluent French seemed to get a much quicker and smoother service. I mean, we're talking, the waitress exchanging laughs, smiles, and jokes with them, and getting their food and whatever they asked for at the snap of a finger. Well, gotta blame myself for not being able to speak the language, right? Also, I thought it was strange that I when I asked her if they had mussels and fries (since the guy sitting at the table RIGHT next to me was eating it), the waitress first responded that they didn't have such a dish available. Then, after a pause, she saw the guy eating it in the corner of her eye, and realized that YES, this dish IS in fact available at the restaurant. So, she proceeded to take my order. Dude, really? The guy is like RIGHT THERE next to me shoving his face with mussels with a gigantic pot that's the size of his face in front of him, and she couldn't remember that they didn't have this dish. French Onion Soup- 2 stars. I've had better definitely in many other places. The broth was not that great. I wasn't impressed at all. Mussels in sauce with fries- 3 stars. I thought this was good, until later, I tried the same dish at 3 other restaurants, and realized that this dish was actually just O-kay. The serving of mussels were half portion of other places, and the price was double for this dish at this restaurant (in retrospect) compared to other restaurants. Rib-eye stake with salad- 4.7 stars. This dish was near damn perfect. That rib-eye was juicy, fatty, flavorful, and delicious. The salad that came with it was also very good. I think it still stands out as a delicious steak. We had to actually ask for bread, while I believe normally bread comes out when you order food, or at the latest, when your dishes arrive. I'd come back for the steak mayyyyybe, and try some other dishes. Have I had better? Absolutely. I'm giving 3 stars since food was OK and service was questionable.

    Mac N Cheese w/ Steak

Came here on a Friday night. Patio was completely packed so we sat inside. Our waitress spoke English so it made ordering easy. We ordered the Mac N Cheese w/ Steak and the Crispy Chicken. Mac N Cheese w/ Steak was absolutely amazing! Extremely filling, great dish if you're hungry. Crispy chicken was okay but the side of fries made up for it.

We stumbled upon Le Faubourg 34 when we were walking through the neighborhood, the café is set off the busy Rue Richelieu and a lot less hectic then the man through fare. The atmosphere is more of a relaxed bistro, small tables set close together, the locals lazily inhaled their cigarettes and took their time sipping there beer. It was the quintessential vision of what I expected a French café to be. The waiter was friendly and made great recommendations on some bites to eat. Again, the service was typical French style, slow and relaxed, so I can't complain that it wasn't as quick as we were normally used to back in the states. I daringly tried the frog legs for the very first time, it was a starter plate but it had a nice portion of frog legs and a small side salad! The frogs tasted like a flaky white fish which was really delicious. my husband really wanted the mozzarella sticks, but was quickly disappointed when they came out a little 'waxy' was his description. The Leffe beer was plentiful and relatively cheap for a pint, so he had a couple of rounds. I had the caramel French toast dessert which was a combination of sweet and salty. All in all, a great find for us to stop and rest from our long day of sightseeing. Another bonus was that there was free wifi!

For days we stumbled around Paris trying to find a restaurant that was allergy "safe," good quality, and kid friendly (with healthy food options and not Americanized food). I have to say that when we stumbled on Le Faubourg 34 it was like finding a needle in a haystack. This is a great "staple" restaurant, that's open reasonable hours, with GOOD French food that a semi-adventurous 10-year old will eat, and a place where a person with celiacs can try a variety of different options. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the prices decent, and the staff really friendly and un-pretentious. Over the course of a couple of weeks, we tried just about everything on the menu and kept coming back for more! Le Faubourg 34 saved our Paris trip. This was a great discovery.

Now if crème brûlée fois gras is not food porn, I don't know what is. You have to try this! Amazing!

The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

Making a reservation isn't hard but you do need to email them and there's no online booking system. You also have to confirm again 1-2 days before. I understand they are small with a limited number of tables so that's fair and it seemed like everyone showed up even though they don't require a deposit. On a Friday night, it didn't appear there was much chance or walking in although there were like 2 open seats at what would have been a shared table. The menu is small and includes some typical French starters, steaks, 3 non steak entrees, cheeses, and dessert. All steaks come with potatoes, 3 sauces, salad. Service was a highlight. The waiter was personable and funny, had solid recommendations, and made sure leftovers were taken home. Also had a solid wine recommendation after asking some questions. They probably get a lot of people who don't speak French and they had no problem speaking English. The food- ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was so so charred on the outside and it almost ruined the whole thing. I really wish they would have charred it way less especially when it was ordered medium rare. There is seared and then there is burnt; this was sadly the latter. The steak itself was fine, honestly nowhere near the best meat I have had but the price is quite reasonable for how much you get. I would say the steak was maybe 6/10 for me, largely due to the cooking. The fries were phenomenal. Definitely a highlight and really tasty and with a great texture. Salad was good, pretty typical. I wanted to like the sauces more but found them just okay. The best by far for me was the blue cheese sauce but even this one I thought the flavors could have popped a little more. Atmosphere was fun, there were a few bigger groups (6-8 which is the biggest they accommodate) but it never got unreasonably loud. Overall I wanted to love it but was a bit disappointed even though the service and fries were both great.

It's a tiny restaurant, so if you're a party of two, you might share a table with others, but they have spacers so you don't feel like you're eating together. Reservations were easy to make. You email in your requested sitting and someone will get back to you shortly. We were able to get in a little ahead of schedule and start the adventure. Wines were reasonably priced and they had a good variety of cocktails. We hadn't had French onion soup on our trip, so we ordered it as an appetizer. Sometimes it can get a little salty, but these were very well blended. Sacree Fleur seems to be known for their steak and frites, so we ordered the steak for two. Steak comes out on a sizzling platter. You can turn the pieces over to keep cooking until your preferred temperature. It was quite succulent and the fries were well prepared. There are two dipping sauces and some salt to season your meal. We hadn't a great time and way too much food :)

We were so looking forward to the frog legs, onion soup and other delicacies pictured. We got there and the sign was just as it was with the same name -- Au Pied du Sacre Coeur. We should've noticed something was wrong when no one was inside. When the waiter (lone person working along with cook) gave us the menu, my wife and I stared at each other completely confused. The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup. He looked confused and just said no. Out of respect for him, we just ordered the charcuterie, which featured stale bread and a few slices of meat taken from my local grocery store in the U.S. Also -- they claimed to not accept any international credit cards.
