Another happy birthday tradition for my girls and I to pick up a couple delicious croissants and tarts from Le Croissant (driving an hour away, and it's worth it). Highly recommend the large spinach and mushroom with cheese, though I think the cheese may have changed. We also love the pistachio and the almond croissants. My kid's favorite is always the fruit tarts, because they look so festive and decadent. We'll be back.
Stopped in here around 12:30 on a Friday. Got 2 things and have to say it was decent. For me, the ambiance of the place was a bit of a struggle. Stained walls, random coffee counter, 3 coffee creamers in an empty fridge, almost like no effort was put into making this place look cute, whatsoever. The two croissants were decent but nothing out of this world. The strawberry one was delicious and light. Would order again. Overall, will continue to try the other cool French bakeries in the city to compare. Worth a stop if you haven't tried it!
If you're looking for a great French bakery, look no further. Each of the three items we had were excellent, though I wish we'd gotten there sooner so that we could've tried some of their other croissants. My personal favorite item was the blueberry muffin, though that answer might change after another visit. Everything in their glass case looked great. The staff was really friendly, too. They'll definitely be seeing us again.
If you want real pastries, Le Croissant is THE place on the south side to go! Their pasties are always fresh and absolutely delicious! Their pricing is reasonable for the quality of goodies and you won't be disappointed with the taste! I highly recommend visiting Le Croissant!

These are some of the best croissants I have ever tasted. Light, airy, perfectly crisp (not crunchy) on the outside and soft on the inside-perfect! I love that Le Croissant offers variations of their croissants. And every one has been just as delicious as the rest. Stop by early as they run out of the popular choices early. There's a cream filling in the tart and strawberry croissant - it's just the right amount of sweetness and soo tasty. The croissants are flaky, crunchy outside and soft inside. The fruit used in the desserts are sweet and ripe. Service was awesome - we came around 2pm and were offered a free extra strawberry croissant as the cashier said that they probably wouldn't sell out of it before closing. Nicely decorated ambiance and clean. Le Croissant Bakery is always on my "to stop at" list when passing through town!

It was just before 10 AM and there was no one in there which was fabulous. I was afraid that like other bakeries they wouldn't have many things available but to my surprise, they just kept bringing more and more out to stock the case. I walked in, and there was a young lady behind the counter who didn't acknowledge me, which was fine because I was busy looking around. When I was ready I asked for the strawberry cream pastry because it looked amazing. It was funny because her reply was do you need a box? I was confused and I just said no, you can just put it in a bag and then she proceeded to ask how many I was going to order and I was thinking just one. But I saw that they had regular croissants and those are my go to. Just a regular plain croissant, you can't mess it up. I had to get one to see the difference from the other bakeries. They must have been out for a little bit because they were starting to get a little hard on the edges but they were still soft when you got to the middle. I waited until I got home to warm them up and eat them. They tasted much better after being warmed up. They don't get soggy or chewy, just perfect! The butteriness came out and was still flaky. I enjoyed the pastries, and I will probably go again, but first impressions are a lot, the person behind the counter is important. It's really easy to get to just right off the interstate and they do have an area to sit at and enjoy it there if you'd like. I didn't ask if they would warm it up if I stayed but highly recommend warming up the croissant.
Had to come back to Le Croissant with my coworker while I was in back in town. I was happy that they weren't sold out like my first visit, as it was nearly noon by the time we got here. Upon walking in, I was so excited to see how the place had changed! It was definitely more welcoming and all the goodies were on showcase as soon as you enter. I can definitely see myself coming back again when I come back to in Indy.
Got myself a French Baguette for the first time today, and my goodness it's incredible. Perfect crunch on the outside with the softest, fluffy center. Plus it's huge - about 2 feet in length. Easily could feed a family or group of people. This is a must buy!! Le Croissant remains a faithful favorite of mine.

Half the bakery is for seated dining/cafe style and the other half is the working bakery. Large selection and they sell by both the box or individual pastries. Greenwood is lucky to have such a delicious, authentic bakery.

I almost feel at home when I get to eat some croissants from this place. Being European, this is a big compliment. I guess I am glad I don't live any closer, because I would eat waaayyyy too much of these pastries. And let's not forget that you can also purchase delicious freshly baked bread here.
This is easily the best Croissant that I've had in Indy and the entire state! I've had the Levathan and the Amelia's, but this place is easily the best. The overall vibe of the place is very welcoming and everyone working there greets you when to walk in. They have a great selection of fresh croissants including Strawberry, Maple, Almond, Pistachio and Chocolate. We ordered the Pistachio (which just came out of the oven!) and the coffee cream one. Each one of them was the size of my hand, but what surprised me most was how dense they were. Each one was packed with the delicious stuffing yet still crispy on the outside. As we sat and ate, people came in and out chatting with the employees. Such a great experience there and I can't wait to go back!
Delicious bakery aroma outside but not so much inside. Fresh almond rum croissant on the counter that a customer came in for. Since it was a Yelp event that I was not accepted to go, I decided it was finally time to try since it was in the morning with a lot more left. I ate a chocolate croissant. It was light and made by French people but nothing special to me for the added cost compared to Panera Bread. read more
As always we love this Barry! Smiling faces, easy to understand displays, some indoor seating and high quality baked items. It is a treat for us to be close enough to enjoy a croissant from them, and we used it as a special celebration time today. Love their story and their products! I love this place!! I've been twice and wish it was on the Northside so I could visit more often. The desserts are perfection and there is such a wide variety. I was quickly served after the person in front of me was done ordering. The vibe is quick in and out. No seating. read more

Late morning midweek was nearby for a doctors appointment and that was the perfect time to stop in for some treats! No line whatsoever but still plenty to choose from. Very friendly staff, and although I haven't dived into the baked goodness yet, looks alone would give it two thumbs up! read more

I was very excited to try out Le Croissant! I've heard tons of great reviews about it! As always, we all have different taste buds. My taste always leans heavily towards the sweet side and I love sweet dishes. Chocolate croissant: ordered for my son as chocolate croissants are his favorite pastry. The chocolate comes drizzled on the outside of the croissant. Chocolate is not inside the croissant. Almond croissant has a very light filling inside and a lightly sweetened outside. Ham and cheese croissant was for the husband. My daughter asked for most of this one, it was her best pick of the lot. Cheese and ham flavors are mild in taste. Key Lime Pie: this is a full custard with notes of lime within the custard. Sometimes there are pies with a green tint due to a jelly like layer of lime filling included. This pie is cream in color. Cheese danish is lightly sweetened with a mild flavor. Show stopper for me was the strawberry croissant. The cream filling is light and deliciously sweet. The strawberries were fresh and very sweet as well. The pastry itself was less sweet but balanced the cream and berries perfectly. Made me want to try the mixed berry croissant as well as I imagine that one also being one of the sweetest croissants offered. Always love to see new spots coming to town! read more

79 reviews 5 stars? Not the experience we had. The croissants were beautiful and delicious. However, they did not offer to heat them up. The way they severed the food was questionable. They used a wet towel rag to wipe down serving tray and did not use any tissue to grab the croissant. Server used a single glove to grab the food and then kept it on to serve multiple customers and then proceeded to leave it on to text on his phone. Lastly, the hand written signage was poorly displayed in the window. This place has a lot of potential to improve coffee station and ambiance it's just not there yet. read more
We went on a Saturday. My first thought was, " a line out the door?! They must be delicious." The line moved quickly. The fresh baked breads looked amazing. We ordered a croissant and a danish with strawberries and blueberries. They were a descent size, light, with delightful flavor. This location is near my work, I will definitely return. There is room for seating, however with the line on Saturday it seemed a little stuffy. Eating inside may be a better option throughout the week. read more

YES! Le Croissant lives up to the hype, ya'll. The only downfall? They're located in Greenwood and we live in downtown Indy. But, it's worth the Saturday morning trip for these fresh out of the oven fruit danishes, croissants and quiche. Their hours may be listed in the late afternoon but fair warning, they may be out of several options by then. We thoroughly enjoyed our uber creamy quiche and fruit tarts. You'll find everything from rum croissants and raisin danishes to cream puffs and classic chocolate croissants. I was very impressed by how many types of pastries they're rolling out on a daily basis. You can easily find parking in the lot out front and then grab a spot in line. They've been open for a little over six months now and the secret is definitely out. Next time, we hope to get lucky and snag some of the strawberry croissants. The line moves fairly quickly and they seem to have things down to a science. read more
Once again Le Croissant did an amazing job. This time it is the time and hospitality given a group of Yelpers on Saturday afternoon 7/09/22. Not only did the owner supply each with a box of some of the favorites of Le Croissant but Pedro, the owner shared his and his family's history of hard work and determination. The residents of Greenwood, Indianapolis and surrounding areas are blessed that Pedro decided to begin his bakery here. Of course, the long lines waiting to get in to purchase his works of art doesn't just happen. Pedro puts in nearly 20 hours a day to bring the community his treats. Some days he sells out of everything in just hours. Anything you can get in the case will not disappoint you. My favorites are the chocolate and rum almond croissants. The blueberry and orange scones were amazing as well. I also tried something savory with a spinach and Gruyère cheese croissants. Pedro, a big thank you for your hospitality and humor on Saturday and especially for providing our community with your family and business. read more

I ordered to go of Plain Croissant, Brioche Bun, Chocolate Scone and Citrus Scone. All the pastries were fresh, melt in the mouth delicacies. Pedro the owner is a passionate man for building customer relationships and using best quality ingredients to create layers of heaven on earth. I personally found the scones the right size and so crumbly yet soft in a good way. I have heard there is a popular demand for Pedro's Pastries and his pastries run out of stock in 2-3 hours. Would definitely try Le Croissant again if I am in the area. read more

After hearing people rave about this new French bakery, I had to investigate for myself. Word on the street is that there's usually a line out the door on Saturday mornings, so don't be surprised if they are out of several items when you stop in later in the day. I was also excited to visit after reading the owner's story in the IndyStar. Owner Pedro is so hardworking and talented -- just the type of person that you want to support. Originally from Mexico, he worked at a bakery in California, and then moved to Indy to be with his daughter, who encouraged him to flex his baking skills here. Le Croissant still has a temporary sign out front and is working on getting more tables and chairs to fit all their guests. Their glass cases of French pastries will make your mouth water, and you'll receive them on a tray our in a to-go box. Pedro told me that the rum almond croissant is one of his favorites, so I'll be sure to try that next time. This trip, I chose a fruit danish, fruit tart, plain croissant, and spinach/mushroom croissant. Everything I tried was worthy of 5-stars, with the fruit tart and spinach/mushroom croissant being my personal favorites. So light, fluffy, and amazing. I watched their team greet customers and create a special dessert for these young kids that always come in with their mom. I love when a business interacts with customers so happily and you can tell that every customer means the world to them. For $3-4 per baked item, it's totally worth the trip. While you're here, I highly recommend stopping by Root 2 Rise next door for a fresh-squeezed juice or smoothie, as well as Sisters Korean for a full Korean BBQ experience. Need a little Happiness in your life??? Get in your car and drive directly to Le Croissant is located at 916 E Main St in Greenwood, IN. Happiness can be found in a inside of the Run Almond croissant....for verification, please see my face in picture below! Followed closely by the fruit tart...I repeat, both items contain joy, laughter, and pure Happiness. Croissants are flaky, light and delicious. Almost like butter, they melt in your mouth. Honestly, there are few things in life that bring more joy than a perfectly prepared pastry. And if you really want to take the croissant experience to the next level, I suggest the strawberry one. (not pictured, because, well...I ate it and forgot) This thing is the epitome of all things created by the almighty. Cream Filling, fresh strawberries, and powdered sugar, delicately crafted to up all endorphins of happiness. I suggest you go as early as you possibly so you have the full scope of variety of their options. No point in showing up late in the afternoon...They will be closed and sold out! Yes I know their time say's they are open at 6pm...THE PASTRIES WILL NOT MAKE IT UNTIL THEN....I repeat, go as early as the sun touches your face. You're Welcome. read more
Absolutely loved the selection we were able to get. The cheese danish is packed with creamy cream cheese and the cinnamon danish was flaky and full of cinnamon. We also enjoyed the almond rum croissant which was packed with almond flavor. The dough used in itself is so rich in flavor that really anything compliments it well. Get there early if you want the best selection as this little shop sells out within a couple of hours opening! The staff were very helpful and friendly and boxing up the goods too no time at all! Definitely check them out if you're in the area and if not, it's definitely worth the drive! read more

Le Croissant never disappoints with their pastries. I ordered the mixed Berry danish and bear claw this time. Everything is so fresh and tasty! I love how every bite of the mixed Berry danish has berries in it! The staff there is lovely. I am always greeted when I walk in! They have tables to sit at and eat your sweet treats, or you can take them to go. I highly recommend Le Croissant! read more
This is a nice new pastry shop located in Greenwood. It is in a Vista Run Strip Mall. They have a moderate sized parking lot that it shares with the other businesses in the strip mall. They are currently not open on Sundays or Mondays. When I got there, they were packed. I mean packed, packed. The line wrapped around the shop and formed a square. The shop has a restroom available and a few tables that are socially distance spaced that you can sit and eat. There is a tv on a chair in the dining area, but it is hard to see due to the way it is positioned. They have a wide range of delicious pastries, including croissants, cookies, pies, scones, turnovers, quiche, bread loaves and danish. I waited about 35 minutes in line before I was able to order. When you are ordering, a guy puts the pastries of your choice on a try, then a woman or guy takes the pastries from the tray and box them up for you. Once they are packaged, you pay, then go. I got a mixed fruit danish, an almond croissant, a couple of strawberry croissants, and a cheese danish. They were delicious. Very tasty. Some of the best pastries that I have had in a while. I liked the Mixed fruit danish the best. It was very fresh. I highly recommend checking this joint out. You will not be disappoint. They are a master of their craft. I just wish that they sold drinks like, fruit juices, coffee, tea or hot chocolate to wash down the deliciousness. Also, be prepared to wait a bit, depending on the time of day you go. I went at 1020 and it was packed. I would probably bring some headphones and/or make sure your phone is charged to keep you entertained. read more

100% delicious! This place lives up to the hype. I got here at 10am and there was already a huge line within the store. It isn't too bad of a wait but don't come here if you are in a rush. Despite the name there are a whole lot of other things besides croissants. I settled on a ham/cheese croissant that day and kept my chocolate croissant for the next day. These are the real deal and are just as good as the other best bakeries in town such as Amelia's in Fletcher Place and Rene's in Broad Ripple. I often don't have much of a reason to visit the south side but this gives me a lot more reasons to go. They are also temporary closed on Sundays.
