    Salmon with ratatouille
    Maggie T.

This place is super cute and American friendly! The staff are incredibly nice and they have English menus as well. Sitting outside with an aperol spritz was a great vibe! Lots of locals at this spot too. My biggest complaint about this place was the speed of service. I know French restaurants aren't known to be fast, but it took over 45 minutes to get our food, which felt borderline ridiculous since a lot of tables around us were only having drinks. My order was wrong when it arrived, so I had to wait 10-15 more minutes for them to bring the right dish. I got the salmon steak with ratatouille -- the salmon was a little over cooked but the ratatouille was really good. I'd still recommend this place, just make sure you're not in a rush!

Dry snails that taste like rubber

We went in for dinner on December 30th with family of four. We got seated right away and initially had high expectations. However, the snails we ordered were absolutely horrible and taste like rubber. I told the waiter and owner , they promised us to remake it and they took it back. But when they came out again, the snails were identical with the ones they took in, and also taste like dry rubber. Absolutely not edible. The owner initially only took 1 of the 2 plates of snails we ordered off the bill because he said we ate 3 already. When we left, we took one of the snails as evidence to show how disgusting the quality of food was, the owner yelled at us and wanted to take it back from us. How dishonest does a business owner need to be to promise us all snails are freshly made but yell at us for taking one away? Not to mention the steak was a very thin sliced that's cooked to well done rather than the medium I requested. If you can, avoid this place at all cost.

This was one of the first restaurant we dine in Paris. This place is near our hotel Elysees Union. The restaurant is very clean and the people are very polite and extremely attentive. The restaurant is on the main street with many other restaurants. It's quite hard to choose, but my daughter found this one on Yelp. We ordered the escargots but somehow due to communication, they didn't come out, we missed it. My daughter really liked the duck breast with wine sauce, she loves duck prepared by French chef. My wife got the fish which was delightful. A little friend had the pork loin which was delicious and tender, he finished it in a flash. For me, I got the steak which had nothing to cheer about although the sauce was quite unique and tasty. The steak was a little chewy compared to sirloin steak in the State which much more tender (with just salt and pepper). Anyhow, it's a very nice and cute little restaurant, it has tables outside so I can go to smoke after the nice dinner. Everyone's happy with their meals after a short flight from London to Paris. We're ready for Eiffel Tower because this restaurant is really close to Parvis Des Libertee et des Droits where people takes many nice pictures of the Eiffel Tower.

this meal is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. This was our first meal in Paris. We just landed in france, and went directly to our hotel in the morning. We wanted to get some local eats and found this place wasn't too far away. when we were looking at the menu outside, the waiter asked if we wanted to eat inside or outside and we decided to eat inside, at people were smoking outside. We ended up getting the french onion soup, along with foie gras. For the main entree, we got the beef tartare with fries. This was split between two people, and it was decent.. not a lot of food, but good enough to keep us semi-full. The foie gras was interesting, as they give you a piece of bread, but the bread was really hard, but it was semi sweet, that went well with the foie gras. The beer tartare was different than others i've tried. I think it was lightly cooked and it had a sweet taste to it. kinda interesting, but i prefer the simple raw one. inside the cafe, it had a very homey feel to it.

Chicken is raw and they had the nerve to ask for a tip
    Amy H.

I ordered the special roasted chicken with carrots and the chicken was not fully cooked. Similar to another review, service was given to locals and tried to get attention of our server and was ignored. Spent more than 2 hours and leave hungry for raw chicken. I wanted to leave and they insisted on making it up by providing complementary dessert when I said no several times. To add more insult to injury when we came to pay they asked how much to add for a tip when we know service charge was already included.

First meal in France right down the street from our hotel it was easy and we were tired. Now this is a nice family run place they were very accommodating and we enjoyed fabulous bread and cheese selection with a bottle of wine for our dinner that day. I don't remember all the cheeses but I will tell you the triple Brie cream was out of this world. If I were here for a long haul this place would probably suffice as the local bar.Relatively inexpensive by Paris standards. Great outside seating.

Salad au chevre and a spritz

I wandered here for a late-night meal after a day exploring Paris. The servers were very friendly and accommodating of my poor French skills and I got to enjoy a lovely, quiet, solo dinner. I ordered a spritz, french onion soup, and a salad, which were delicious and served quickly. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a late-night bite at a quaint neighborhood spot!

What a great meal at Le Corner Cafe!! We only had one night in Paris, and wanted to have a nice French dinner experience. We were staying at the Pullman Hotel by the Eiffel Tower but most of the cafes right around there seemed like tourist traps, and we didn't want to have a bad/overpriced meal. It was also late, around 9:30 when we ventured out, so needed somewhere that would stay open a little later. We asked the concierge and she tried to send us to a super fancy and expensive place. So trusting Yelp, we decided to walk a little bit to Le Corner Cafe. We weren't disappointed! The hospitality was off the charts. We were welcomed by multiple people on arrival. They made sure we were comfortable at an outdoor table, offering to adjust the heat lamps. Our server was so funny and personable. He brought us our wine and water right away and then helped us select our entrees. I was trying to decide between two entrees - he told me to pick one and then brought a free sample of the other so that I didn't miss out. So nice!! He was super attentive but never made us feel rushed. Brought extra bread without us having to ask. Just perfect service for the duration of our meal. The escargot was fabulous, it's my favorite. My husband started with French onion soup, and although it did not have the characteristic cheese layer on top, it was probably the best French onion soup I have ever tasted. Very flavorful soup and the cheese was all mixed in, so you got some in every bite without having to fight with it. I was so full from all the bread I ate with the soup and escargot! But the entrees were amazing as well. Salmon was cooked perfectly, nice crispy skin. It was a very large portion, accompanied by ratatouille which was nice to have something lighter than potatoes or rice. My husband's scallops and risotto were great as well. I felt bad that I couldn't finish my entree or try dessert. Even at the late hour, we never felt rushed, and enjoyed an amazing meal with wonderful service. A lot of locals showed up while we were there, which is a good sign that the food is good and not just a tourist trap. It was well worth the walk from the Pullman, or take an Uber (or Kapten), we did that on the way home and it was just 6 euros.

    Cheesecake

Visiting Paris currently and this location was right around "le corner" from our hotel. There was only one waitress during our time at the restaurant, she was nice but she did put priority to the locals. The escargot itself was good, it was only my second time trying it so don't have much do base off. I also ordered the veal and the sauce was flavorful yet not overpowering. The cheesecake you can do without it to be honest. I will say I would rate this restaurant 3.5 out of 5 but since there are no half stars I'm giving it a 3. The reason behind it was because of priority of waiting on locals and the amount of time it took to get anything to our table. We arrived at 8:15 and didn't leave until 10:45pm... that's a little excessive in my opinion and during my stay no other French restaurant has made us wait that long. It took at least 20 min to get a slice of cheesecake. I'd give this place a try if you're NOT in a hurry.

What a lovely little place with good wine and ambiance but not too expensive. The waitstaff was very attentive and courteous, making solid recommendations and coming though. I sat on the patio and the weather was lovely and they had some soft music on but I don't remember what kind. I was coming off a long week so wanted to wine down so the waiter recommended a nice Bordeaux and I had the best onion soup I have ever had, delicious! This were pleasant enough until I got on the phone with mom, lost track of time, drank the whole bottle of Bordeaux and then the owner asked me politely to switch table so they could close the patio doors. have been a lovely guest, now bonne voyage! Would definitely return and it is right down the street from the Arc de'Triomphé. Bonne Appétit!

In a city known for its food and the many dishes that have been invented, it is surprisingly difficult to find a solid meal at certain times of the day and certain days of the week. Le Corner was a place that was open, despite other spots being shut down at the moment and due to its convenient location, I chose to eat here. The service was pleasant to start. Started off with beet carpaccio, which was a rather excellent dish. Proceeded to ordering a cappuccino. It was odd that in this day and age, many restaurants in Paris, including this one, do not have a lactose free milk substitute such as almond milk, soy or just regular lactose free milk. Fine, it is what it is. Everything came out quickly and the waitress was kind to make a few recommendations. Here is the reason that I can't say that Le Corner is a place I would return to and it's the veal. Being one of their signature dishes, it came out rough, dry and flavorless as if it was defrosted in a rapid fashion, cooked improperly and thrown on the plate. Any place that can cook a veal so rough and flavorless is not one that I can return to. To make things entertaining, the waitress inquired why I didn't finish the veal and I told her. She proceeded to tell me that the veal is excellent. Seriously? That's Parisian customer service at its best. Was she trying to start an insolvable argument about the veal instead of apologizing for putting a lump of coal on the plate? I did not get sucked into the argument and laughed it off. This kindergartener attempt at cooking veal was far from excellent and I was the one having to pay for it and eat it. To summarize, the beet carpaccio was the highlight of this spot. All else left much to be desired.

Excellent cafe with great food and wine! I stopped in looking for a solid place while walking around the area and was glad that I did. I had a few glasses of wine, escargot, and steak frites. The food was delicious and nicely priced. The wine was hefty pours and again nicely priced. I've already recommended this place to a few friends who are staying right down the street in a few weeks.

    Great atmosphere.
