What an amazing dining experience. My wife and I went for Valentine's Day. We did a late lunch. I rather stick a hot poker in my eye than be out and about at night trying to eat on this day. The people were welcoming and kind. Everything was perfect. I enjoyed some oysters with no shell bits which is rare. Awesome fries great cocktails. My steak was cooked to perfection.I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my dining experience. AI have no words look at the pics. GO TO THERE!

My boyfriend and I spent our Valentine's Day at Le Bouillon and as always, it exceeded our expectations. We started off with the steak tartare and frites and it was delicious. Our waitress, I'm kicking myself that I cannot remember her name, recommended the gnocchi and I am so happy I chose that dish. The flavors were unreal, the gnocchi was soft and pillowy, and the leek cream was decadent. I'm still dreaming about it. My boyfriend ordered the Wagyu Cheeseburger and in his words, it was the best burger he's ever tasted. He had the salad with it and the vinegar dressing was perfect. The ambiance of Le Bouillon is also so special! It's such a romantic restaurant and I love how they incorporate candles everywhere. Le Bouillon does not miss.

We had a wonderful first experience at Le Bouillon! The staff members were SO friendly. They sat us at a cute little table in the back where it was cozy and quiet. My husband had the burger - super tasty and served with shoestring fries and homemade ketchup and aioli. I tried the tasting menu: endive salad, roasted chicken, and chocolate marquise. Everything was fabulous, and I loved the seasonal flavors, especially the charred broccolini and butternut squash with the chicken. Go check out the wine room and the downstairs space - think speakeasy vibes!

We went to Le Bouillon for a goodbye celebration for a friend, and overall, I really enjoyed it. It's definitely a great spot if you're looking for a fancy dinner. Most of us ordered from their regular menu, but one of my friends went for the four-course dinner. I will say service was a bit slow and the food took quite a while to come out, even though the place wasn't very busy. But when it did arrive, it was worth the wait because the food was delicious! I had the steak and it was so flavorful. My friends also mentioned they really enjoyed their plates. One thing to keep in mind if you're going with a bigger group: they don't split checks individually. Also, it's a bit on the pricey side, but perfect for a special occasion.

The restaurant is located in old downtown Omaha that have brick paved streets, large old buildings with merchant names on the fronts, restaurant, bars, shopping. Dinner was at Le Bouillon French restaurant which was bright, inviting lively art, flowers and a spectacular wine room that you can pick a bottle if you prefer. The staff were friendly, smiles and great service. We started with oysters and Champagne which were delightful and we split the Duroc pork chop paired with an Italian wine. I actually picked that bone up and clean it well, I wasn't going to leave that goodness behind. We finished with tawny port They had a phone booth that was great for a photo shoot. A fun vibrant night!

There was a farmers market on Sunday in August 2025 and we decided to duck in here for the a/c cause it was 95 degrees outside. The a/c here was great when we were here. It was Sunday Brunch time at this restaurant and, even though it was super hot outside, we had French onion soup and a couple of their appetizers. We are fans of French onion soup so we had to try even though it was super hot outside. This place offers their full menu in addition to their brunch menu during brunch time. We would visit here again when we eventually return to Omaha. Recommended!

What a beautiful decorated restaurant in Old Market! Serving French inspired dishes. We got two different steak dishes. The filet I got was cooked perfectly medium rare. Loved the fries. We thought the drinks could've been better. We made reservations but did not need to because it seemed as we were the first guests of the night. My boyfriend is French so this restaurant has been on his list for awhile so I'm glad we were able to come try it!

Brunch Hanger Steak and Eggs

The breakfast was amazing--the picanha steak was delicious, and the asparagus and roasted potatoes were both savory. Came first thing on a Sunday morning, and my girlfriend and I were warmly greeted by the host who was also our waiter, since it was a slow start to the day. Ambiance was warm and light. We walked, though, we observed that parking was limited to metered (free after 9pm on weekdays, free on Sunday's if I'm not mistaken!) 10/10 would return!

It's been a while since we were last at Le Bouillon for the dinner service and I have been looking forward to dining there for brunch for a while, but had not made it back there till recently. Here is my brunch review: The brunch menu is small, but covers both sweet and savory. Cocktails are available in the form of bloody's, mimosa and and a couple of unique cocktails from Le B. If you so choose, the raw bar (oysters, tartare, and salmon) can fix a craving, or the charcuterie selections will impress a friend who loves cured meat. We did an order of the Kaiserschmarrn (Austrian pancake) which was light, fluffy and delicious-definitely the reason I would return. The berry topping and whipped butter mixed with a light but flavorful syrup gave these pancakes a great gift to the palate. The eggs in a basket was a miss for me-the texture of the bread was crumbly and dry, and I didn't like the flavor. The pommes frites were yummy as they came out hot and fresh and the over easy eggs were made correctly. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. It was a relaxing atmosphere to dine in at 1pm on a Sunday and the bill was reasonable at $30. I would come back for the pancakes, for sure!

Absolutely delightful lunch spot! The service is fantastic, our host/server Ellie was so wonderful & welcoming. Love how calm the dining area can be during the week, it's always worth a visit. The French Onion soup was so good I almost cried, keep up the great work!!

Tuna on fava and butter beans-sooo good!

This restaurant is amazing!! I can not recommend it more. We have been here a few times, and each time we got the tasting menu which was well thought out and decently priced! Right as we walked in the offered to take our coats and led us to our table. They staff was very attentive, even offering me a purse hanger. They have an extensive wine list, so we began our meal with a bottle of riesling which was crisp and refreshing. We went there for valentines day and did the chef's menu. I am gluten free and they were very accommodating with altering the dishes slightly. I started with the smoked white fish on a delicious creamy dill spread. Then had the tuna for my main which was FANTASTIC and finished with a chocolate mouse- the perfect dinner. The ambiance is moody and I loved how the tables were spaced to feel like you had your own little private dining area. There is also so much fun art on the walls to look at. This paired with the white bricks made it the perfect place to enjoy good company, good drinks, and AMAZING food. Highly recommend!

The food was really good and the service was too. Love how they have a bar and a wine shop. Something for everyone.

Tartare + frites

My partner and I have been doing this thing where we try French restaurants and the duck everywhere we go, and this week I realized we hadn't given Omaha a chance. I had heard of this spot from a colleague and decided to give it a try. Walking in, there was only 2 other diners but it was a Monday evening so I set my skepticism aside. My first glance at the menu left me a bit disappointed. The menu I had seen online had several items that intrigued me but what I was seeing in person was quite different. I was disappointed. I considered leaving but decided to give it a shot. Now I would compare this dining experience to a musical score. This particular composure started off with a steady build. The pre-dinner drinks - the rooibos old fashioned for me, and the chamo Collins (with gin) for the lady were pretty decent. Then the appetizers upped the excitement and the tempo. We got the tartare + frites. While this was good, the beef was a bit too chunky for me. At this point, we should be bursting with excitement for the crescendo that is the main course. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The duck frites fell flat. The skin did have a nice crisp to it though. The saving grace of the whole thing was desert. The basque cheesecake which was brûléed with what I assume was a custard brought us right back to a peak. Service, otherwise, was great! We love to share meals and they accommodated us very easily. The hostess was very friendly and the food came out well-spaced out and timed.

Everything was great! The only issue I had was my duck. It was less than stellar. Cocktails, wine, appetizers, and the steak were fantastic.

DP ordered Lemon Berry Pancakes, a plate-filing short stack of goodness. I'd like to say it tasted as good as it looked, but I couldn't tell as DP chowed down like a hound from hell. In a good way, of course. She did allow me to share her Maple Braised Bacon (meaning that I was able to snatch a piece while she wasn't looking). Really, really fine, something I'd definitely order again. For me. Not to share. I had the Schnitzel Bennie with tart cherry jam and lemon hollandaise. Sound unusual? Tasted great! My only gripe was that the pork cutlet was a bit small and could have used a bit more seasoning in the breading. Would I order it again? You betcha! Service was fast and efficient. The decor was quirky and inviting but the space was loud enough that it was really hard to carry a conversation. Overall rating: yahoo!

We said first available seats, which ended up being at the end of the bar. More about that later... I ordered the vegan standard and hubs ordered the banana bread French toast. The server was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner, considering the place was packed. Regarding the vegan standard, it seems they have cut back on the amount of tofu scramble and increased the amount of hashbrowns, which was a little bit disappointing. As usual it was very tasty though! I tried a bite of the hubs French toast and it was VERY unique and tasty! II will be getting that next time. I was disappointed to hear that they haven't brought back the vegan biscuits and gravy, but maybe once again they will! So the food was great but our experience, not so much, based on where we were sitting. I feel like they should not even use the last spot at the bar to seat a patron. Right next to where I was sitting is the place they bring the clean silverware to dry it off, then they would toss it into the silverware holder. The noise was very annoying and they did nothing to try to even be quiet about it. The other thing about that location is the register is pretty much right in your face, like 15 inches directly in front of me and someone was pretty much there the whole time. Other areas of the bar wouldn't be quite so bad, but next time we will wait longer to get a table or sit at the bar top that looks outside instead of at all the workers doing their thing and talking to each other. Other than the location of where we sat this visit, this is still one of our top spots for a yummy vegan breakfast, and we will be back!

Crisp and amazing with butter and jam. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as well which were tasty and crunchy, they came with tasty goat cheese and some sauce, while I do wish there was a bit more sauce it was still a great choice. The Mimosa flight was good but it wasn't anything special, I do wish for the cost that there was a bit more going on or even bigger portions. Overall good place to go with a good variety of options.

After a couple of minutes, I went back up to the counter and asked if they had already started making it, because I wanted to change my order. The kitchen was open, so I said to the cook, "Don't worry about it if you've already started. I know my indecision can impact people, and I don't want to be a problem." He looked at me and said, "No, it's totally fine. Would you like some veggies on the side?" "Yes, that would be amazing," I said, and walked back to my table... and burst into tears. It wasn't just what he said. It was the kind energy in his eyes. I felt someone who took pride in what he was making, and who genuinely wanted people to be happy. I found myself asking, why am I crying? Because in a world where so many people in power feel disconnected, where corporations can make us feel like numbers, being genuinely cared for in a small café reminded me how much I love humans. Most people have love in their hearts and are trying to share it in their own small ways. As the world cracks, these simple things are more meaningful than ever.

They were fairly busy, and honestly our food took a bit to come out, but I am still giving a five due to the overall experience and quality of service. Our server Melannie was fantastic and always present. We did the bottomless mimosa deal (3 out of 4 of us) and she was always coming around asking us what flavor we wanted next when our current was still half full to make sure we got our moneys worth. The champagne might not be the fanciest, but for $20 bottomless mimosas I'll take it. They have fun flavors in addition to the basic ones like strawberry, mango, etc. which adds an element of fun. For food--there were several things I was eyeballing but landed on the spicy chorizo Benny. It was really good, eggs cooked perfect, and came with hashbrowns. Another at our table got the poutine which also looked yummy. I'd say the food portion could have included a bread/toast option, however If brunching in Omaha i'd return to try several things on the menu. The vibe inside is chill, would be more fun sitting outside once the weather warms up. Since I was the one that booked the reservation, the tab got a bit confusing. At first they were taking it off my total, then the server said that hold would come off so I paid for my meal/drinks there. I did end up getting double charged (for both the reservation hold and my meal) which was cleared up with a quick phone call to their establishment---apparently it is a new process they are trying. I do understand though why they wouldn't want to just deduct the hold as then people that don't know how to tip wouldn't tip on the total, which hurts the server. All was cleared up regarding this mishap though so no complaints.
