Unfortunately one of the nail techs at this salon gave my friend an extremely disappointing experience and not great customer service. My friend asked for an acrylic set and it came out extremely poorly. The nail tech, who I believe is the owner or the owner's wife, was distracted with other customers and did not ask my friend if it looked ok before did the whole set. I feel like any experienced nail tech could do this design easily, it is not too complicated. She did a great job with the color, however the design speaks for itself sadly. I took my friend here to get her nails done for her birthday and I look over to see her holding back tears because she was so frustrated. After I paid for her nails (and still tipped the nail tech anyway), I stood up for my friend and extremely politely asked if she could redo the set because it didn't turn out the way she wanted and it was her birthday the next day. Again, I'm unsure how the nail tech looked at the set and thought they were fine. I wish she had told my friend "I cannot do this design" before attempting anyway. My friend did get her nails redone the next day, French tip instead. They looked fine in the end. However, the same nail tech was extremely rude and tried to blame my friend for picking the wrong color. She said she would usually charge the customer again even though it was her mistake. But since it was her birthday, she won't. She also called me out for asking her to redo them. What kind of customer service is that? Sorry lady, but the truth is they looked terrible and we will never be coming back. Cheers!
My best friends took me here to get my nails done for my birthday. It was supposed to be a girls day but because I decided to get a full set I got my manicure while my friends got the pedicures. We were separated the whole time even though we requested to sit next to each other and when we asked why we couldn't sit together my nail technician said it was because my nails would take a long time. After I showed my nail technician a picture of nails that was a simple design I think any skilled nail technician would be able to perform this task. My nail tech told me she could do that for me, and she did a great job shaping my nails and choosing the correct colors that match the picture. Unfortunately it was the design that was very poorly done and my service felt very rushed and not very intentional. While I was getting my pedicure, I had found myself close to tears with disappointment with how my nails turned out and that my friends were across the room from me. One of my friends told my nail technician that my nails were done very poorly, and that we would like them to be redone and asked to be scheduled the next day, which was my birthday... My nail technician agreed to get me in. I apologize for the inconvenience and I showed up for my appointment the next morning (my birthday). When I sat down, I apologize for the inconvenience again and thanked her for getting me in. And she was incredibly rude, and said the next time I come in I need to be sure which color I want because this is an even longer service and normally she would charge, but she won't just because it's my birthday. And then she told me it was only because my friends didn't like my nails that I came back to get another service. No honey, the nails you gave me were so bad I cried during my pedicure. I completely shut down and didn't say another word to her the entire hour she worked on my nails because I didn't want to upset her to the point where the nails would turn out poorly again. I can't believe any professional nail technician would find the nails that she gave me acceptable. Needless to say we will never be going back. The crazy part of all of this was she was the owner's wife! The manager.. Thank you for a very poor, unprofessional service.

Came back later the same afternoon to a completely empty salon. They then told me they would charge me extra for fixing them after I had already paid $30. While trying to argue why I was back to have them fixed, the woman owner argued back with me in an aggressive tone saying that I was wrong, they were right. Its my fault that my nails are not as I had asked for. I let her know that her customer service was absolutely horrible since I had already seen how she treated the other customer earlier that morning. She continued to actually yell at me, interrupting me, telling me I do not know what I am talking about. I told her it is no wonder her business has literally not 1 single customer, while 4 employees sit at empty desks making no money. Anyway, got my nails "fixed". See attached image of my bleeding cuticles. Walked out and told her she does not deserve to own a business. Waste of money here.
No. Save your time and money. It was my first visit and my last. Dip nails are lumpy, uneven and streaky. No. I use getting my nails done to relax and this was the least relaxing experience I've ever had.
*Update- The salon reached out to me on the same day I posted my review. They offered to redo my paint job and apologized. I appreciated the phone call. LaVie is not close to me so I have not gone back in. I will return however due to their Customer service post review.
The actual work isn't bad, but the customer service and communication is. I made an appointment to check the place out and see if I'd want to take my bachelorette party here. It's also my birthday, so I thought I'd treat myself. I got there just a few minutes past the appointment (traffic and road work) so I expected to wait a few minutes, but not 20 min. Once we got started, I was told I couldn't do dip ombré because my nails are too short. Fine. Picked a dip color based on the samples (a dull purple). She got started and no questions other than the shape I wanted. Waited for her to do my cuticles but that didn't happen so I asked about it and she said I should've asked earlier because it's extra. NOWHERE on their little menu does it give cuticles as an extra. Thus, I assumed it was included like every other nail salon I've ever been to. Who doesn't want their cuticles touched up when you pay for a manicure? Fast forward and we're done. Color is like a neon purple. Not the color on the sample that I picked. She ended it by saying I could grab lotion at the register. $40 for plain dip with no actual lotion put on after or cuticles done is ridiculous. And color doesn't match what was shown on the samples. I'd NEVER pick a neon color because I'm more into neutrals and dull colors. The actual thickness is fine, but oh please some decent customer service would be GREAT. Especially when it's a new customer. And no offer to fix things when I was obviously unhappy.
This place is much better than the last time I came here two years ago. The person who did my manicure is named MD. Unfortunately I forgot the woman's name who did my pedicure. Both of them did very well. This is the first time my toe nails and finger nails are different colors. I got a pretty cool effect done on my finger nails by MD. The shop is clean, organized, and has the most dipping color options I have ever seen. The shop adhered to current CDC protocols. I tried to go a nail shop by my house and they were unable to do pink and white . I went to this nail shop and they took great care of me . It was a nice experience and very calming. They were all very friendly and the gentleman who did my nails did an amazing job and my nails were exactly what I wanted. Thank you read more

Would not come again. Was overcharged for a basic white set and they came out less than mediocre. I was absolutely crushed since it was for homecoming. I had to get them fixed somewhere else. read more
This was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon in Colorado so far. I am by no means an easy customer as I'm very detail oriented and I've also had an amazing nail tech in Houston who spoiled me. I was hopeful to start out based on reviews. The first woman who helped me started removing my previous shellac. She seemed agitated when I asked her to file the side of one of my nails a little better and pulled on my fingers and said relax. Not exactly nice but I didn't think too much of it. In the middle she moved me to another woman because she had another appointment. The next woman started to cut my cuticles without really bothering to finish filing my nails. After filing I asked her why there still seemed to be the leftover base coat on my finger? She got agitated with me as well and almost yelled her response. At this point I noticed when she was buffing my pinky nail had broken. I then said well there's no point in putting shellac on it and I should just leave after she was done. She stopped everything and stared at me. Then the other lady came over and they talked and told me $20. I was super upset and ultimately they told me just $15. I was in shock as this woman had broken my nail, they both blamed it on me and said my nails are too thin. To make a long story short, they would not give me the owners number, when I called to just ask for a refund so it could be over I was hung up on and talked to so disrespectfully. There was one woman who tried to diffuse the situation who was calm and nice. One of the owners called and offered for me to return and have someone fix it, but would not give me a refund. If I were you I would choose a better salon who values their customers such as Nails and Beyond. If you're a die hard fan of this placed then good for you and your experiences, but you couldn't pay me to go back there. read more
I absolutely loved the first time I came here. This second time my nails are not nearly as good. The price is still the same. The quality just was not what I wanted. There's a big glop at the top that is uneven as it gets to the tip. My nails are all different lengths and shapes. The shape isn't what I wanted at all. The lengths being different makes some nails look really wide and stubby because they aren't long enough while others look decent. The sides are all jagged. $ 41 out the window. I really had high hopes I guess because of the first time. I might try here one more time with a different nail tech. I didn't see the one that did my nails the first time yesterday. read more

I called and requested a last minute pedicure yesyerday. The staff was polite and able to accommodate my request right before closing time. I got the $32 pedicure with parafin wax and it was amazing. The technician was gentle with kern attention to detail. The salon was clean and the entire team was super friendly. They give you a personal kit to take with you and bring back for your next pedi. read more
I've been going to this salon for at least a year now and have nothing but great things to say! Jamie is the only nail tech I've seen but Mindy is also highly requested. I go to Jamie because she's the only person who can do my nails correctly!! I get a powder acrylic overlay on my real nails and she makes them so thin and realistic, it's crazy. I've been getting acrylics for about 10 years and Jamie is by far the best nail tech I've ever had. Their pedicures are also amazing. Every time I go in to get my nails done, at least two or three people are getting pedis. I've had a deluxe pedi and it was so relaxing and they took their time. The facilities are clean and the staff is super friendly! read more

I heard about this place from my sister whose a regular. Skilled and friendly staff whom are very attentive to what they're doing. Everytime I came here, they always give me different person to do my nails, which I didn't mind because they are all good. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

This is the best nail salon that I have tried that uses the dip powder and they have sooo many colors to choose from. The second picture was taken March 23rd and the first picture is today! They did a wonderful job with the dipping powder and being very gentle with my nails. read more

Ann did a spectacular job on my nails. I have been bouncing from salon to salon trying to find the right fit for me and I found it! She took her time making sure they were perfect even though I came close to their closing time, relatively my speaking for how long it takes for the dip powder. I scheduled my next appointment and everything. Can't wait. Thanks, Ann! read more
