    Cappuccino

Got a 16ox cappuccino, a strawberry matcha, and a bacon breakfast sandwich. Had the option to use oat milk instead of the regular milk in both drinks, which was nice. But the most important bit is that they didn't charge me any extra for the oat milk! What a win! The matcha and the sandwich were fresh and very delicious as well. The store is small, cozy, and clean. I came here on a sunny morning, but during a rainy winter season I think this place would come alive even more. Amazing spot. Strongly recommend

Laurel opened yesterday on 1/31/25. I decided to checkout this new indie spot before the forecasted lowland snow (2/1/25). I love the transformation from the two former iterations of Crumble & Flake. Currently, Laurel is offering coffee service and featuring fresh pastries from The French Guys. Cocktail service will be forthcoming. Love the interior and color palette which is enhanced by the abundant natural light. There are two rows of elevated bar counter seating and a corner banquette by the entrance. I lucked out with nearby two hour street parking, so I'm enjoying the overhead music and overall pleasant vibe onsite. Well crafted 16oz mocha and tasty pain au chocolat. Another welcomed addition to Seattle's vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood!

this spot is really cute and I like the decor and the location. The service is alright and I really didn't like the coffee. The matcha was alright, I thought the strawberry whipped cream we paid an extra 50 cents to be underwhelming and didn't really add much. But I didn't like any of the coffee drinks, I really disliked the viet coffee --- I guess it's vegan which might attribute to it and I'm just not used to the case but I didn't not like it and will not finish it. I don't know how this could be called viet coffee honestly, super disappointing and not viet approved (imo). The iced vanilla Latte for some reason they made it oat milk without us asking, maybe that's the default? But overall too sweet and not good, lesser tier for me for coffee shops in the area. Maybe the cocktails are better so I'll leave hope for that.

This place exceeded my expectations! Very friendly service and they have a huge menu with different types of options and specialty drinks. They stop selling their special drinks after 2 PM. I got the Matcha iced latte with orange syrup, which was very good, subtle compliments in each other well. I don't think I know another spot that has that. I really enjoyed our 12 ounce cup with their straw. Highly recommend and would come back.

    Cinnamon cortado and vanilla latte

I love the location of this little corner cafe/cocktail bar. The decor is cute and light which is enjoyable to be in. I only tried their coffee and it wasn't my favorite. I ordered a cortado and my friend ordered a vanilla latte. The cortado was better with their espresso which both of us enjoyed. The vanilla latte was a little sour due to that same espresso.

Popped in for a coffee while waiting for the Cassetta pop-up to set up. Both employees were super nice and helpful. Service was far, and the coffee was hot and strong. The place is small;basically a counter on one side and two tops on the other of a long hallway. Cute combination of coffee and pastry shop and a cocktail bar.

Really cute new coffee shop in Cap Hill! Super cute interior, and the workers were really nice. I also really enjoyed my nutty cold brew :) would definitely return to try the pastries!

They were both extremely fluffy and flavorful. The savory one had a nice chipotle sauce in addition to hollandaise. The strawberry one was not too sweet and moist. You order at the counter and pick up your food here. The soufflé pancakes took awhile (30 mins?) to come out, but it was worth it. We came on a weekend as soon as it opened, but there was already a line. I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the food - one of the few places to get soufflé pancakes in Seattle!

Soft and ripe and delicious. The cheesecake bites were not as flavorful as I would have liked, along with the vanilla ice cream, but I have a crazy sweet tooth so I recommend this one for those who like milder desserts that are not too sweet. The mixed berry bingsu was my fave! The berries were fresh but the best part was the ice cream! Super flavorful and I loved the fruit syrup too. For both, the bingsu itself is very light in flavor and texture. It melts in your mouth and pairs well with the toppings, especially that sweetened condensed milk. I hope to come back to try other items soon!!

Food: Im normally a chocolate dessert person, but the chocolate pie was a light chocolate. If you want a rich chocolate pie, this is not your pie. Honestly, the star of the show was deserted island. I don't normally like fruit pies but that's what I'll be ordering again. It's not too sour nor is it too sweet, everyone at the table agreed. It is the goldilocks of sweet and tartness for a fruit pie. Oh and definitely goes well with ice cream!
