It didn't have a whole lot of almond flavor and it was kind of chewy but that may have been due to the extremely warm temperature. The person who helped me was super friendly. It smells so wonderful and warm when you enter and it's really a feast for your eyes. Everything looks so delicious and it's hard to choose. The staff was ver patient with me. My "go to" is the most famous twice baked almond croissant. On this visit ordered the "go to" , blueberry ginger scone, ratatouille sandwich, turkey havarti sandwich, banana bread, and some Americanos to go. This is not a sit down cafe so we thoroughly enjoyed them in the parked car. :) Every bite should be savored. Extraordinary!

Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! One of the best bakeries I've been to in Seattle so far.

I originally planned to just grab a coffee and a croissant, but after noticing how popular the mushroom Gruyere croissant seemed, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, perfectly filling, and even better when warmed up. The staff member kindly offered to heat it for me, which really elevated the whole experience. While they serve Umbria coffee, which isn't my personal favorite, the food more than made up for it. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

It didn't really have the crispy outside that you really look for in focaccia, as it felt more soft than crunchy. The inside was solid enough though, easily tearable and relatively soft and fluffy. Didn't taste much of the fruit and brie here. Second, the cheddar lye roll wasn't very good. There's something about it that just doesn't work - I think it's the way the cheddar is baked too much into the roll. I like cheddar, but it just tasted weird in this instance. The lye roll also felt too hard. What I liked the best, though, was the savory croissant. Looking at this, you wouldn't be able to tell that its a croissant at all. It's square shaped, and contains filling in the middle like a boat. This had ricotta, snap peas, and chili in the middle. The pastry layers here were very good - being quite flaky and crunchy. The inside also had a good balance of very mild spice and slightly cheesy and sweet flavors. In total, what I had came out to around 15 bucks, which is fine because you do end up with a lot - although no great deals are found here either. Had a few people ask what it was and turned a few heads on the street. The meringue and logo flag was a cute decoration but thrown away immediately since it was kind of in the way. I always see a line when I pass by but service is fast and they hand your dessert to you directly after ordering. There's no awkward mix-ups or other people taking your dessert which I like. Will be back at some point to try out their other flavors and for a smaller portion!

They also have these adorable, beautiful fruit sandwiches on display. I also saw they have savoury bento items on the menu. We tried the hojicha soft serve ($6) and it was amazing. It's really just vanilla soft serve with a syrup of a flavor of your choosing - sesame, matcha, hojicha, etc. We were way too full to get the full sundae but we definitely want to get that next.
