Walked in. No appointment. Asked for a Manicure and gel refill. First went for pedicure. Paid a lot for a "spa pedicure". It was mediocre. Then it was time for refill. After filing my nails and removing my polish, they informed me that didn't do liquid gel refill. Wouldn't have even stayed. Was charged for refill even though it ended up being a polish change essentially. read more

Came in just for a toenail clip. The young man, Don, asked me why I didn't get a pedicure. I told him how I had found them very painful and did not care to go through anymore. He said he would make sure that I was very comfortable. I agreed. He gave me a fantastic pedicure. Very gentle and kind. Told me he would treat me like his mother. Very endearing. My nails were a month overdo with cracks and home done polish that seeped between the nails. I prayed they could help being that I'm not from here and was in town visiting family. They were awesome!!!! I haven't had a tech really concentrate on making each nail like new. I was blown away by how easy she was on my nail bed while fixing my horrible nails. She got under each one leaving no bunked corners as most do. When I walked out they my nails were perfect in every way. Thank you for such a great experience. My mom and I tried this salon today for pedicures. I had the worst pedicure experience I've ever had in life! The technician was very aggressive and my nail polish was clumpy and not very neat. In addition she scratched my toe and didn't seem to understand when I said be careful afterwards. When I arrived I had on a polish that had glitter in it which apparently was very difficult to remove. She started using a file, then a drill, and then tried nail polish remover. During my pedicure she grabbed a couple of my toes very forcefully and did my foot scrub. I had to ask her to let go of my toes. My polish didn't end up very smooth but I think it's because the polish needed to be thinned, which she didn't do, she just left it as is. Now an hour later my feet look no better than before I went. The same technician painted a couple of toddlers nails who sat next to me at the dryer and it was terrible as well. Their nails looked like they were roughly filed then painted leaving jagged edges of polish around their fingers. Unfortunately I didn't get the technicians name. But, on a better note, my mother enjoyed her experience. Her nails (mani and pedi) turned out nice and so did her eyebrows. I believe her techs name was Terri and she was great. She talked to us, was very polite and hospitable. If I rated this salon on my experience alone I would have given it no stars. But my mothers positive encounter accounts for the two stars. read more

I don't even want to give this place a rating because of pure rudeness. We went into this place to find out how much it would cost to have a acrylic nail removed. We even explained that we was only needing one nail because we were on our way to have knee surgery. This guy in there says, "$10", and we told him that we was told it would only cost like 2 or 3 dollars. And he says, "Well, you go somewhere else. " and made made a motion toward the door. If that's not rude, i don't know what is. So we left, went about a mile up the road to Ocean Nails and Spa, and that lady did it for free. read more

We were so happy we came because the girls were really nice and had great service! I have been in Laura's nails 4 times now with my mom and daughter and have paid for all three of us each time, even purchasing lotion and other items.. I always left nice tips for each person.. Returned today with my mom again. Told Laura's husband I needed a fill in and my mom needed a gel manicure.. He took my mom back and there were 2 customers and 3 nail techs.. I sat there for 1 hour and I thought I would be next.. Well a really rude girl came in saying she was on her lunch break and needed a pedicure quickly.. Well the girl had just finished another customer and took her back... No appointment or anything.. And just left me sitting there.. So I thought okay maybe while her feet were soaking she would start on me.. Well in the meantime he was finishing up my mom and some lady comes In and walks right over to the nail chair by mom and sat down and he just started working on her like I was non existent... I will never go back, I was very offended..my nails looked great when they did them but I will never give them another dollar.. So time to look for a new nail salon.. read more
