The best !!!!!! I appreciate the skill and detail that the technicians provide. I get a pedicure and manicure every two weeks and I am never disappointed. They listen to what you want ( so please be clear about the look you want to obtain). They will deliver high quality service. I appreciate that tools are autoclaved and unwrapped in front of me for my pedicure. This is very important to. My left toe can really be a problem because of an ingrown nail but they have treated and trimmed it so it is not an issue any longer. I am never rushed and feel refreshed and beautiful when I leave. My nails look great. I was a walk-in she greeted right away. I also saw them greet another walk-in warmly as well. My tech didn't introduce himself but was friendly and carried on a conversion with me. I gave 4 stars because I love my nails and was comfortable for the most part. The only thing that keeps them from 5 stars is those under their breathe awkward conversations that end in a laugh between them and one of the techs was about to LITERALLY come popping out of her top. I went to this place back at the end of summer 2021. I developed a persistent toe fungus from a pedicure I got there. I have been fighting it for over 5 months now with meds that are dangerous to the liver. Most expensive pedicure I have ever had in more ways one. These reviews sadden me because I love the nail techs, atmosphere and service provided here. I am a 30 year old African American woman. I have been a customer of the owner for over 5 years now. Once she moved from norcross to Cummings into her own shop I followed her because she is that wonderful. My nails are not easy and many cant do them to my satisfaction or charge well over $125. The location is clean and the staff is very nice. Sometimes you may have to wait because their is only her, her husband and sister in law but trust me it's worth it. My cousins left their own shops after years after they came with me only 1 time. Please give them a try they are amazing! read more

First I'd like to say that years ago when a lady was seemingly running this spa, I received excellent service. I returned several years later, at a friend's recommendation and not good. I wanted the "dip" nail polish removed and just a simple nail polish applied for a breather from long-term wear polishes. He said "it come off tonight". I said ok that's fine. Then after his constant insistence and telling me "$15. to take off and $30 for plain polish when $40 last longer", and my repeatedly saying "NO, just plain!" he spoke to a lady in Vietnamese and she said come over. She asked what color, I said a light pink/ natural and asked how much and 2 hours later at the price of $50 with my eyebrows waxed also, I left somewhat satisfied. Oh I should also mention that the man at front left to go shopping at Sam's and the customer he had an appointment with walked in just after he left!! Then later, I noticed a rippling of the dried polish only on my right hand. Ah well at least it didn't come of next day like he'd warned ( threatened more like it). Now nearly 2 weeks later it's chipped and ugly I start to remove it with regular nail polish remover and guess what?! It WON'T COME OFF!! I'm right back where I started! I love all people regardless of race or ethnicity or religion, but I do NOT liked to be lied to or kept in the dark because I can't understand what's being spoken!!! read more

I don't normally leave bad reviews, however after my visit I feel it's needed. My regular nail place couldn't get me in. So I tried this place on the recommendation from a friend. I went in for a gel pedicure and dip manicure. My pedicure took over an hour. And I still have polish on my skin. My dip was less than to be desired. It's really thick, and she didn't even clean up my cuticle area for when they start to grow out. I came home and did that myself the best I could. The top coat is already peeled off. Normally they do a clear dip first and then do the color dip. Not this lady. She didn't even do the clear dip. Went straight into the color. I wont be back. I have to go today and have them taken off and redone with my regular nail tech. Oh and this all cost me $125! I've never paid more than $100 for mani/pedi, even with gel and dip! read more

I have visited this location on two occasions. The first time for a pedicure. That experience was five star. I do not know the tech's name but he was a young male with highlights in his hair. I really liked him. He did a terrific job making my feet beautiful. He was polite and offered good conversation. My second experience was a one star at best. One of the tech's took my polish for another customer and I had to select a new color. After my manicure she walked over and giggles and says "here is your color". When it came time for my manicure the assigned tech offered me wine to which I politely declined. I smiled and said "no thank you". She laughed at me and asked if I would "prefer milk or apple juice, sweetie" which elicited laughter from customers in the pedicure section. It was very embarrassing! The third tech was very critical of my thin nails and I wish he had kept his personal opinions to himself. I wish I had just walked out but I was there with friends, one of whom received a pedicure from the tech mentioned in my first paragraph, she loved him! I will not return to this location. read more

So this was my first time going, my friend has been there before. We both got pedicures we got the firewalk, the girl that did my feet was good she messaged my feet real nice. She was really nice as well. The problem was the guy that did my friend pedicure. the guy did not massage her at all. The firewalk pedicure explicitly said they would message the feet and cafes, and he did nothing other then rubbing in the lotion. I had chosen apple nails for my friend and me to go to for manicures. She wanted gels and I wanted a basic. I can say with 100% certainty, I'll never be returning. First there was my manicure which left me sitting on an uncomfortable bar stool. The manicurist didn't even soak my nails, she put them in a non-zip sandwich bag with some kind of lotion -- jankey. Then she proceeds to sloppily cut my cuticles and in the process cuts my finger and I bleed all over. Finally she "buffs" my nails but in fact she just scratched them so bad I have to buy a buffer and do it myself. Next, my friend's manicure... First of all it was the longest gel manicure I ever sat through -- 1.5 hours. And believe me, it wasn't because she was being pampered. He finished cutting her cuticles about 10 minutes after mine was finished (hers started before mine) and did zero scrubs, wraps, nada. We were talking and he slapped her hand because she was moving too much, instead of like, uh, saying "excuse me but the movement is making it harder to do." Neither of our manicurists appeared to have state licensure and I would highly recommend you NEVER go to this place. Also I'm not sure about their sterilization since the tools came out in a basket... I'm used to them coming out of a hermetically sealed bag. Just say no and go to Studio 59. read more

I am a long time customer and I am horrified by the way this business handled a huge error on their end today. Also I can't believe they are open for business while they are in the middle of a complete remodel. The moment you walk in you see dust everywhere from the remodeling, a tarp hanging from the ceiling to the floor. The nail techs are all sitting crammed in the middle with no room to even move their chair around. They offer you wine in smelly wine glasses and they keep the wine they serve on the dirty floor next to the fridge. I had a pedicure and a full set. My full set was a regular nail polish color (no designs) with a gel clear polish. They painted my nails, then sat me under a nail fan for about 45 minutes while they moved on to the next customer. Finally someone remembered I was sitting there and they proceeded to put on my gel clear coat on. The tech could not find a working uv light, he searched through the salon and finally took one from a customer who was in the middle of also getting her nails done! So after my nails are dried, the tech wipes off the gel coat and the cotton sticks to my nails and my nails have spots all over them! He told me my nails were not dried yet. I told him I had been on the fan for 45 minutes. He then looked at me and said "well that fan is broke". How am I suppose to know that?! At this point he offered to start all over and I had been in the salon for over 2.5 hours. I couldn't stay any longer. He told me to come back tomorrow. When it was time to pay there were no apologies and I was being charged full price for the pedicure, full set and gel polish. My nails looked horrible! I had cotton still stuck on them... They fought me over the payment and refused to admit their error and charged me full price for a service that was beyond terrible! Not to mention all the time I wasted. Prices are very high for what you get. We asked for the aromatherapy package. We were supposed to get different aromas in the water and never got them. My husband and I were getting pedicures. I asked for more pressure and the woman doing my husbands feet translated to the man doing mine. She then told my husband "I can't do hard because I'm a lady". If they offer massages they should be willing and able to offer a variety of pressure. My massage lasted about 35 or so minutes. My husband was finished well before I was since he did not require polish. This is very short considering that our package came with additional massage and was $38 each. Finally when the man was putting the disposable flip flops on my feet I noticed he did not pull them out of a plastic package like they come. He pulled them out of the top of a drawer where they were already assembled. I wasn't too alarmed since I thought he was just proactive. That was until I saw the bottoms of them and they were DIRTY!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone and would actually advise against going here for health reasons. read more

I had seen many Facebook friends recommend Apple Nails and decided to stop by for a pedicure on a Sunday. I didn't have an appointment. They put me in a pedi spa chair right away. But, I sat for 60 minutes waiting to be seen. When the young man started, he was incredibly rough with my toes while trying to work on the cuticles. He was also using way too much pressure. He even sliced open the skin between the side edge of the nail and the nail bed on my big toe. He should have known that soaking someone's feet that long would cause them to be softer. That injury took 3 weeks to heal. They tried to up charge me for a service that I didn't have and had no response when I mentioned the injury. I will never go back and do not recommend others visit this establishment. read more

Everyone is incredibly nice and treat you with respect. You get massages with your manicures and pedicures and if they are being too rough all you need to do is tell them and they will ablige. Terrible experience! I was never greeted by anyone, just told "sign in, sign in". I had a 4:00 appointment and by 4:45 had still not had a pedicure. I gave it 15 more minutes and then decided to leave. I walked to the exit and as I was leaving all I heard someone say was "sign in, sign in" They did not even relize I was a customer leaving because of bad service. They have lost my business for good. After I left, I traveled down 153 highway and saw a sign for Ocean nails. I decided to walk in and see if they could take me. I was greeted warmly, offered a cold drink, put immediatly into a pedicure seat and had a very nice pedicure. They staff was friendly, and seem to care about thier customers. They now have a new paying customer who will reccomend them to my friends and family. read more
