I was warmly greeted by the sweet woman behind the register helping another guest. She helped me check in easily on their kiosk which took about a minute tops. I checked in as a full set, and she showed me to their nail polish area and guided me to their gel polish baskets. I expected to wait awhile! But about 5 minutes later, Amy came and told me she was ready for me! The service: Amy has clearly been doing nails a long time and has perfected her craft. After chatting with her I could also tell she has a real passion for her profession!! Next time she going to do some kitty designs on me! Am so excited for that! She says she does it all- powder dipped, designs you name it! She was SO FAST. Also I barely knew she was doing my nails. She has a very gentle touch and nothing hurt at any time ever. Contrary to other places I have been that really can drill down hard... you know what I am talking about ladies!! Overall this was THE MOST pleasant experience I have ever had getting my nails done. Pro Tip: They have a point system too for return clients - super nice!! I will post some more feedback on that when I can. Sorry yelpers- was selfishly enjoying my awesome experience! My appointment took an hour and cost $45 plus a $10 tip. I paid for the service with my credit card and tipped cash. Hands down ***** FIVE STARS and satisfied client. Will be returning again!! The nail tech had to have been new or something, but from the start there was no how are you? How's your day going? Do you want anything to drink? (They offered it to the lady behind me, he chose to not offer me one for some reason), just no hospitality. He first started sanding off the old polish, which he burnt me with the drill multiple times. REMINDER I went in for a fill. Why did it take an hour plus to just finish the acrylic. He didn't even start the polish until 20 mins before I left. Which clearly shows the rush job. I told him I wanted the inspo EXACTLY (I even said I don't care about the price), he chose to cheap out and no use gems like the photo, and shitty painted on the moon, and two stars. Overall this place is trash. Don't go, the techs suck, they won't match the photo, and they'll burn tf out of your nail instead. And you can clearly see in the photos of my nails that he got glitter all over the other nails, he didn't take his time to do polish. Mia is my regular nail technician, and she consistently does a fantastic job. She's not only incredibly skilled, but also personable and attentive. I always leave with beautiful nails and a smile. Tom has also done my manicure a few times, and he's excellent -- especially with shaping and being extra gentle since I have thin nails. I've visited many nail salons in different states, and Zen Nail Spa is truly one of the best. Their customer service is top-notch, and the quality of their work is consistently amazing. To add to it, I'm a fluent speaker of the Vietnamese language and they were all talking about other customers in the language, even to the point saying a customer looked like a pig. I tried to mind my business. But this establishment needs to be shut down or go under different ownership.
