Walked-in for a pedicure today and had an amazing time. Celine did a great job with my nails and was a delight to chat with. She and her husband are the owners and both were in providing exceptional service. I could tell that the other customers were regulars and they spoke highly of the salon. I've been patronizing this salon for over four years, but I disagree with the other reviewer who says the new ownership is an improvement. Walk ins no longer seem to be welcome. Her husband is always "on the way" in "ten minutes". They are comparably priced to other salons in the area who staff better. read more

This is the best hidden gem in Chattanooga. The new owner is a huge improvement. So sweet, very clean and relaxing establishment and prices are much better than the competition. I got my nails done and eyebrows waxed for what I normally pay for just my nails at other salons and they look better. 10/10 read more

The employees were so nice and really took their time. But I saw one lady cut a woman during her pedicure and then my boyfriends toe was bleeding after his as well. When I woke up the next morning my toe had an infection and my nail as well. I had the best experience at princess nails. I needed a fresh set of acrylics and a pedi, I got a gel pedi and I love the results The staff was so kind and the facilities were very clean. They were incredibly attentive to what I wanted in my nails, showed me options of colors of what I described, And had me in and out in an 1 hour and 15 for a removal of acrylics, full acrylic set, and gel pedicure. I was so impressed! They were so efficient and took my last set off while taking they did my toes. I've been looking for a regular nail spot with decent prices and a good location and I've found it! The location itself is beautiful and clean with many color options! However, they're prices are definitely high! Mani Pedi combo is $40 and if you add gel to just your hands it's $60! The pedicure was basic and nothing added on. The man who worked on my toes was beyond rough! The cuticle on my left town has a scab on it and my right big toe was cut down on the sides so much that I have an ingrown toe nail. I kept telling him to be more gentle and he didn't understand. The scrub they used on my legs as well was rubbed in so hard that my skin felt raw afterwards and hurt a bit when it was being rinsed. My hands look nice but it definitely felt rushed. Again, while their options are good and it is clean, my toes hurt and I can't even wear sneakers at the time. read more

Don't let the location discount the service! I was able to do a walk in, and the results were delightful. I got the basic pedicure, and would have no problem splurging for their deluxe option sometime in the future. I saw another guest getting acrylics, and another getting gel. I had heard great things about Princess Nails and drove across town just to try it out. To say that I am pleased would be an understatement. I wasn't that happy with their Essie nail polish selection, but they had many OPI, although there were a lot of duplicate others. The basic mani/pedi is $37 and worth every penny. The pedicure was amazing. They offer to use a razor to really get dead skin off your feet and as gross as it was to see all that skin, my feet are mighty happy these days :) The pedicure also included a massage, exfoliation and orange slice rub. The pedicure paint job still looks brand new almost 1 week later. The manicure was your typical manicure. Hand massage was just average, but I appreciated that after the nails were painted they double checked each nail to ensure it looked great. It's been almost a week and they still look really great. All in all, money well spent and each dollar you spend is earned. I will definitely be back to have them do my nails in the future!! read more

Stacey was really sweet, but the guy who took my old dip nails off clipped them down and grabbed the edge of my old dip then ripped them off with the clippers. Did not soak them or anything. I have never had this happen to me before at any nail salon I've ever been to. My nails hurt so badly. It ripped my nails down and then they of course had to buff them even more to put more dip on. The family owned business offers exceptionally professional pedicures. The extra moula you spend on the deluxe spa pedi is definitely worth it if you're looking for a great foot massage and the ultimate in relaxation to escape a tough day. The top notch massage chairs also are a real treat while you're getting your pedi! My teenage daughter and I love the pedi bonding time and are truly made to feel like queens while we're here. Meh .... I love a good pedicure, but I was needing to keep the expense under control so I decided to try this place out based on the positive reviews. On a positive note: it seems very clean and all of the employees looked like they were working hard to try to get everyone served as quickly as possible. The paraffin wax that you receive with the deluxe pedicure was awesome. You receive a lot of services with the deluxe pedicure option, however my experience was sub-par. The massage chair was so aggressive that I literally had some bruising and soreness to my upper back the following day. The sugar scrub treatment felt like some form of prisoner of war torture - pretty sure he removed the top 1/3 layer of skin from my legs. His hands were working so fast with the "massage" that no one stroke was long enough to feel pleasant in any way. Lol he used the hot stone massage primarily on my shin bones. I had to stop him multiple times, throughout, to say that it was painful and to move off of the bone. It became apparent that he understood zero English, which usually isn't that big of a problem, but in this case he also understood zero social cuing and body language. I showed him a picture of the ombre glitter polish that I wanted for my nails. He nodded his head and then proceeded to paint a solid coat of glitter. I stopped him and referred back to the picture, trying to get him to understand. He nodded, again, removed the polish and then proceeded to do the exact same thing. I asked the female technician to help, at which point she dismissed him from me and sent him to finish her client. I had to demonstrate with the polish, myself, to get the female technician to understand how to do it, but she did eventually get it and did a wonderful job on the polish. Meanwhile, the woman next to me (who had been previously being served by the female and who was now being treated by my former nail tech) ended up having some similar problems with him and eventually chose to leave and come back at another time when the female was free. I hate to fault the whole salon for this experience as I believe it was primarily my individual experience with that one guy. However, my sister came as well and had a manicure given by a slightly older gentleman. Her entire manicure took about 15 minutes, start to finish. This is good if you're looking for something "express" but that's not what she came for. Maybe I'll give it another shot when I know I can get the female lol. Until then I guess I'll keep shelling out bigger money at Noire. read more

Upon relocating here, I tried manyyyyy different nails salons and none did it for me. Some barely even touched my nails, and others were way too expensive for the service they provided. Once I found this place there was no going back. The owner and the techs are very friendly, service is top notch, salon is clean, they work diligently and fast and prices are good. Seriously one of the best pedicures I've ever had - far superior to the ones on Newbury St. in Boston that start at twice the price. For $25 - all the standard stuff, plus a sugar scrub, massage, and FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE over my legs for exfoliation. The paint has a couple of side spots that will flake off by tomorrow - no problem at all. It's shiny, and my feet feel so great! When I felt a small hang nail, the gent addressed it perfectly. They did a great job. Clean salon. I got a mani pedi. Regular pedi $25. Includes massage with exfoliating scrub and orange slices. I got a deluxe pedi. $40 which I thought was a little pricey until they did it and I thought it was totally worth the money. After regular pedi massage, dipped my feet in hot parrafin and wrapped my legs in hot towels. Massaged with the towels on. Then massaged with hot oil and hot stones. Felt awesome!! About 40 mins worth of massaging. The guy who did my toes was really meticulous with cleaning up all of tbe skin and cuticles and trimming the nails, which is the main reason I get pedicures. He did a good job. Also, they offer complimentary drinks or wine with your services. I will come back. read more

I came to town from Knoxville to treat my sister to a pamper day. I called the salon 30 mins before arrival and we were treated immediately. My sister received the deluxe pedi + gel mani. She received 3 different sugar scrubs, hot lotion wax thing, and stone massage. She even had two technicians working on her nails at one point. Let's just say, the overall experience was one to brag about and definitely one I wish I treated myself to! Definitely worth the money for a relaxing, destressing experience. read more

At first glance, this is your typical bargain nail salon. However, this place stands out above the rest with their friendly environment and extra touches. I got the $25 pedicure, and it was heavenly! They spend longer than most other salons massaging your feet and legs, and they do a sugar and fresh orange scrub. That's not something you usually get for a regular pedicure. The woman there was also very friendly and personable. And they offer you a glass of wine! Talk about relaxing. I might try the $40 pedicure next time. I've heard it's worth every penny. We did have to wait a while for our pedicures but that's because we came in on a typically slow day when they only had two employees there, and once they got to us, all was forgiven, because of how thorough they are with each customer. read more

I've been using a salon in Atlanta for 17yrs that I thought was good but I found this place on a visit this winter & I've already driven back twice to have my mani/pedi refreshed. The couple that run the place are very good at their work. They even opened early on Sunday (usually 12) to work me in when my visit on Sat was cut short due to dinner plans. Very poor service. The establishment is clean; however, after making an appointment for mani/pedis we were forced to wait for 20 minutes while walk-in customers were served ahead of us. After 2 hours of being there, only my girlfriend's pedicure was completed and we had to leave due to other obligations. The manager/owner told us that he assumed someone else had served us but never made any effort to check on us at any point during the visit. Not sure what all the hubbub is about. I came in on a Wednesday over an hour before closing. The salon is pretty outdated, and there were random things in random areas, not very neat. Not a large selection of colors either. I waited for quite a while before the entire process for a mani pedi started. They don't have a large staff and there weren't that many people. After waiting for about 45 minutes, they started my pedicure. Water was really too hot, the entire process was painful! The massage hurt, the scrub was nice but for some reason they rubbed the crap out of my calves and forearm. Even trimming my toenails hurt! The hot towel was too hot. As I was sitting in the massage chair, they starting my manicure right then and there. Instead of being seated at the manicure table, I had to uncomfortably lift my arm over my torso to begin the manicure process...no heated bags for my hands. the filing and paint job was pretty nice though. The experience was not. Too hot or too painful and not relaxing...My fingernails have chipped already, just a week later. Probably won't go back. read more
