She came over grabbed the drill that the woman was using switched heads and finished using it on the woman's feet then she came back with a different drill and said sorry and began, this drill was more aggressive to took my polish off. She was on her phone, the entire time, nonstop calling people. the drill was so aggressive. It was making blood spot under my nail. Then because she's seeing spots, she keeps drilling as if it's gonna go away when it wasn't even the same color as my nails it was very clear. It was damaged to underneath my nail unfortunately, I get in those positions and don't speak up as I should. It was rushed but honestly, I was happy about that because I just wanted to leave. There was no music and maybe 2-3 customers. The man at the desk was polite but I definitely won't be back.

For starters, there were several times during my appointment where a staff member(s) would either 1) stand by the person doing my nails and talk to them specifically without acknowledging my presence and/or 2) stare at me from a distance with other staff members. Nothing wrong with the stares perhaps; at the same time, there is a difference between looking at someone briefly and staring someone down. Again, I received "stares." All in all, I would say the "vibe" from a third person perspective (specifically, my perspective) was othering. The only reason I left a one star review is because the person who did my nails was excellent at doing their job. As someone who enjoys getting their nails done, I am very well versed in acrylic nails and what I like in them. So the person (Noah) was meticulous and patient. I enjoyed that. Additionally, I really love the finished product - I did not provide a picture because I want to make sure my words are acknowledged first and foremost. I would not recommend this business to anyone who is similar to my identity: Black, queer, neurodivergent, or (such as myself) ALL the above.
