Quick and friendly service. Good pricing and they did my nails exactly how I wanted them. I will be Rey for a pedicure next.

My experience at this establishment was disappointing, to say the least (Brief synopsis of me:…read morecommunity-centered, kind, and neurodivergent). I only came in because I was looking for something quick. For starters, there were several times during my appointment where a staff member(s) would either 1) stand by the person doing my nails and talk to them specifically without acknowledging my presence and/or 2) stare at me from a distance with other staff members. Additionally, I noticed other customers staring at me as well. Nothing wrong with the stares perhaps; at the same time, there is a difference between looking at someone briefly and staring someone down. Again, I received "stares." All in all, I would say the "vibe" from a third person perspective (specifically, my perspective) was othering. The only reason I left a one star review is because the person who did my nails was excellent at doing their job. As someone who enjoys getting their nails done, I am very well versed in acrylic nails and what I like in them. So the person (Noah) was meticulous and patient. I enjoyed that. Additionally, I really love the finished product - I did not provide a picture because I want to make sure my words are acknowledged first and foremost. I would not recommend this business to anyone who is similar to my identity: Black, queer, neurodivergent, or (such as myself) ALL the above. Additionally, I would not recommend this establishment to individuals who are new to the world of acrylic nails. Suggestion (if you feel disappointed by this review and you're looking for someone to do your nails): invest in independent nail technicians! After this experience, I have realized that as an intentional kind of person, an independent nail technician may be the best way to go. I enjoy having conversation, and I believe independent nail technician's (depending on who you go to) may be able to provide that intentionality I am looking for.

Beautiful salon , quite and relaxing…read more Kim is the best , takes her time and her work last . Beautiful work !

Went to get regular polish done by a younger guy (don't know his name). He wasn't really listening…read moreto me, I had to repeat myself a lot (maybe just a language barrier) but besides that all I wanted was a solid color and top coat with normal polish (not gel or acrylic) and he took maybe 5 minutes with me total. He gave absolutely no time in between color coats or before the top coat (it wasn't gel so there's no light) even after I told him it needed to dry for a minute before putting a top coat on. They seemed ok at first but later noticed that each nail was full of bubbles and the top coat went on so fast that there wasn't enough on the brush and this made it feel rough and look streaky and some parts had no top coat on them. It was 12 dollars so I feel it was extremely rushed because I wanted something simple and cheaper. I am going to have to re-apply the top coat at home because it feels awful and doesn't look shiny at all. The texture is more like fake leather than a new polish. When you put that many layers on that quickly it all slides forward with the brush strokes so you can see ripples in them from that as well. I have done much better work at home on myself. The workers seemed nice but the man that did mine just rushed way too much and didn't seem to know enough about nail polish to know that you have to wait a few minutes for normal polish to dry, nor did he seem to be listening to me at all. Can't say anything about the other workers there I only went this one time, but I won't be back here.
