My last two experiences were not the best. 1st issue: my clothes arrived back to me 3hours later than the time I choose which ended up being 10pm, although upset I was just happy to get my clothes the same day I requested. After having sent an email the manager reached out to apologize & offered 10% off my next order. Issue#2 Next order made & no 10% off & my newly purchased laundry bag came back torn. Although my clothes were placed in another plastic bag why on earth would you overpack my bag so much it tore? Why not give me a new bag & explain what happened. So I sent an email to the establishment showing how my bag arrived bag to me & inquiring about my 10% off & guess what? Three days later & I still haven't heard back. Owner was nowhere to be found and the only attendant left did not care and just stared at me blankly while continuing to fold someone else's clothes . After two plus hours the owner comes and tried to haggle his way out of issuing a refund . Worst customer service of my life . Oh forgot to mention these washers were 18 quarters previously and are now 24. 24 quarters to have your clothes held hostage by the worst laundromat in the city. Ridiculously crowded. Long waits for dryers because half of them are "reserved" so the new gentrifiers in the neighborhood can use wash and fold service. It's a shame

I haven't done laundry in over a year! Wait. That didn't come out right... This was the first time…read moreI've been to a laundromat in BK in over a year. Maybe that's the reason I screwed up this first visit back to this place because I left an entire load of clothes behind in the dryer! The staff was nice enough to keep my clothes tucked away nice and neat until I realized two days later that I left them behind! This place has been clean pre-COVID and they've BEEN sanitizing the machines and folding tables in between customers before the pandemic. Many of these Bed-Stuy laundromats make me want to hand wash all of my clothes and never step foot in a laundromat because they are just way too unsanitary-- but not this place. Once you take your clothes out of the washer, they are sanitizing inside and out. No more strange smells after someone takes their supposedly clean load out and no more bringing my own sanitizing products to wipe down the washers before use. They take care of it for you! Floors stay mopped and clean so you don't feel so bad if you drop a panty or two. Other laundromats I will throw away any piece of clothing that falls to the ground but here, I'll kindly rewash them. That says a LOT. If you need any detergent, laundry bags (plastic or cloth), bleach, dryer sheets, fabric softener, etc., they've got a little convenient store and a vending machine inside to get all the stuff you need. I can't say the staff was always so welcoming but the owner is soooo much nicer now. Whatever change happened has truly warmed his soul and I feel more happy spending my coins here! Before this was the only laudry place to go to because I lived a couple steps away, now I gladly drive to this place because it's worth it. There's a change machine (all machines take coins) nice size options for washers and it doesn't take a crazy amount of detergent to get things soapy. A quarter gets you 7 minutes for the dryer. If you are a nice person who doesn't overstuff the dryer, 21 minutes is all you need to dry a load-- 75 cents ain't bad, huh? This isn't a large laundromat but if you go during non-peak times, you can get your washing done quick and easy and maybe catch a show on the big tv screen while you wait! Clean + Kind = My Laundro-Loyalty

My blanket came out stained with detergent residue and the guy who was running the place told me this small thin blanket was too much for the small washer. I was surprised because $4.00 could have washed the blanket and a sheet set at my old laundry. Then, i noticed how the workers treated the drop off laundry while the same guy was towering over each girl at every machine. First they dumped the clothes on the dirty floor to separate. Then most of the time alllll of the clothes went into one large wash machine. There was no care.No colors and darks were separated, so go here at your own risk. I wouldn't want my clothes dirty or not dumped on the floor and to go there the low prices aren't what they seem if washers are small as hell . And the manager was micro managing like hell.

This review is for self-service…read more SO, I decided to try out other neighborhood options after going to the same chain laundromat off Fulton Street for years. My first impression was not promising given that the hours weren't posted anywhere I could see online and upon calling Three Stars found that information impossible to extract. More on that later. I was (sort of) told that it wouldn't be too busy around opening time at 8am. I got there a little after 9am and there were still a lot of available washers, but man, this is a tiny place. It uses coin-operated machines, and it felt like there were seriously like 8 dryers. (Maybe there are 10? At least 3 "out of order"?) I started composing a Yelp review as I did my laundry, "If you consider doing laundry to be a competitive sport, then 'Three Stars' is like qualifying for some Olympics..." You will definitely bump into everyone in the place at least once while you vie for a machine. Practice your politeness and "excuse me" with a half-smile before attempting to come here. There are definite communication barriers with the staff, even for simple requests (sorry! it has to be said!), and there will be people who hog the laundry carts (empty) while you pay relatively the same prices as the chain laundromat ($4 for small, $6 for large). What are the positives? The machines were awesome (and I never use the word) because my white cotton duvet cover came out bright and clean like never before. All the machines seemed to be super clean as I saw the staff actively wiping them down while I was there. I definitely paid $1.00 for the dryer (and 28 minutes), but it dried my duvet cover and a full size sheet set, including flat sheet and pillow sham, completely within that time. At the mega-chain, I would have easily spent about 45 minutes drying and still not get them that dry. Would I go back? Yes, possibly, if I could figure out an off-hour to go (within their limited business hours). Time to start gathering all my quarters like the good (bad) old days and say goodbye, plastic laundry card.

Over the years I've put up with the occasional lost sock here and there. The guy was nice enough to pick up and deliver when my daughter was sick and I couldnt leave the house. I even put up with the fact that I told them repeatedly - t-shirts need to be folded so you can see the front - not the back (most t-shirts have writing on the front not the back)... They kept messing that up - and then I kept having to re-do it when I got home. So what is the point of paying for wash and fold (two services) - when I had to do one of them over after coming home??? HAVING SAID THAT... Recently, not only did they raise their prices but they actually couldn't explain the ticket! Turns out they were charging me a dollar more. Then the nasty lady had the audacity to give ME attitude for questioning why the math didn't add up. (27 x 0.90 = $24.30 not $25.30) Now if this is some kind of nonsense one dollar charge for doing business there - then they should say "$0.90/lb, $10 min plus $1 charge for our smile" or whatever - it was total nonsense. Nasty lady, wrong work, AND untrustworthy?? I am done with this place.
