I gotta be honest, I gave them a sterling review on Google which I will have to update. I used to be a weekly, biweekly customer. But I recently moved. The staff member there named Krista is incredibly rude and childish. For some unknown reason to me, she likes to talk shit about me to other customers. And indirectly make sly comments. She's unprofessional and doesn't even speak to me when I come in or leave while everyone else gets greeted. She is easily offended by neutral comments or questions from me. The last time i was there, it was pretty crowed towards the dryers. The owner came by to help. Apparently I was standing in Krista's way and she told me to go stand outside. Lmmfao! WHUT?! Girl BYE! I said yeah I'm not gonna do that. (There was empty seating in the front never even suggested). I was standing by the owner. Krista goes to grab MY cart to move it and the owner puts her hand in the way and says "leave the cart" and she did. Krista was obviously going to escalate the situation unnecessarily. When all I was tryna do is wash and dry my clothes in peace! It already takes me a Herculean effort to get there anyway. That kinda unprofessional behavior causes the business to lose money and lowers retention. However I still liked coming here & refused to go anywhere else because of my washing experience here. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING! I was a customer here for a couple of years. I had them do my laundry and dry cleaning. There were some mishaps like lost clothing but I gave them grace. I was moving frantically and gave them a Mui Mui top to dry clean! They completely ruined my top, tried to "fix" it and said NOTHING, the top is completely ruined and can never be worn again. I am a frequent customer meaning I do laundry here almost weekly but mostly bi weekly. I not only wash 4+ loads each time but I always select the extra wash + extra rinse as well as I always buy my detergent + softness and scented beads etc from them although I could get these things at target or any discount store. I washed my delicate clothes in a large washer (the middle one) and my clothes came out more damn than normal. It was already time for the last wash so I couldn't exactly wash it again. I then separated it in half into two dryers. The dryer was on high for 45 mins and my clothes were cold and soaking wet after. At this point it was time for closing so I couldn't just throw it into another dryer. The worker was gentleman enough to help me lift the clothes (bc they were heavy) and place them into a bag for safe keeping until I could speak to the owner the next day. I came back the next night around the time of the last wash (7:15) after a long 14 hour work/school day. The manager wasn't very unapologetic and didn't offer to let me wash my clothes for free when I wasted money + soap + time to wash. She only offered that I pay to wash them myself (and buy more soap of course) and that she would pay to dry them. Drying them isn't even more than about $1.50 when I paid $8-9 to wash them + dry them. I'm a bit annoyed at the solution of this. Also a few months ago I tried the drop off option and everything was clean, nicely folded + fresh MINUS a few articles I'd clothing that were missing for months. I came back each time I washed to ask for the items and no one could ever find it. Then one day I came back and a lady (I wish I knew her name) went above and beyond until she found them for me. For whatever reason they were completely separated from my other loads of laundry. That made me not ever use their drop off service again. No one really seemed to care that I repeatedly asked for it except that one worker. read more

My first time ever using laundry pick up service. I am happy I did, the service provided by Stuy-Wash-N-Dry was phenomenal. From start to finish everything went smooth. The app is very easy to use as is the online web page. Customer service answered all my questions. The clothes was picked up and dropped off as scheduled. The clothes was washed clean and smelled refreshing, everything was folded professionally and wrap in plastic for extra care then placed in a laundry bag. When I called the next day Venus offered free detergent with my service and got the clothes back to me in 24 hours. She was very helpful. This place would be 5 starts if one of the laundry attendants didn't always have the nastiest attitude. She is not welcoming and acts like she hates her job. You ask her a question and she either doesn't help at all or brushes you off with a half-a$$ answer. I asked her why on the LaundryCat app it says 8 min will be added but on the machine it's only 6 min. She says only certain machines do 8 min, which there is no signage for and proceeds to tell me I can go check myself which ones do when I asked which ones offer 8 min. I used this company for months. I always had my dry cleaning and wash & fold picked up and delivered. The last time I ordered from this company, the driver called to confirm which bag was dry cleaning vs wash & fold. I was called a few days later and there was a mix up and they washed all of my dry cleaning. The owner sent the dry cleaning back out. However, when it was re-delivered, a dress was ruined and most of my pants had shrunk because when they washed it (instead of dry cleaning the items) it was dried on high heat. I'm taking off one star solely based on poor customer service. I've used Stuy-wash n dry 3 times now and every single time there's an issue with pickups and deliveries. My clothes always come back washed well, smelling amazing, folded nicely BUT the people that work the front desk never seem to communicate with one another or have coordination. I consistently have to call and remind them to delivery my laundry, or send the payment link. I think they do their work well, but staff need to get it together. read more

Hi, I've used this service several times now. They pick up. and drop off. My clothes always come back clean and folded. They don't fold socks which is fine. Everything comes back in plastic bags if request it online. I know they are doing ton of volume these days with everything going on but even though they are busy they've been reliable. The first time I used their service they called me to let me know it might be another day before they could drop my clothes back up (which is fine considering the circumstances). I appreciated the communication and friendliness. I rarely leave reviews on yelp because I think the are annoying to write but I decided this business deserves it. Wonderful! I have been using them since they opened. My clothes are clean, neatly folded and bagged. I hate doing laundry now that I no longer have a washer and dryer. Venus at the 213 Stuyvesant location does an awesome job. I only request that she does my laundry. Only one time I was not happy; my work uniforms were washed with my regular clothes!! This is one of the best delivery wash n fold services I've used in the area. I placed my order online for pickup and they were at my place in what seemed about 15 minutes. They finished in the amount of time I was told would take and they dropped it off promptly. My clothes smelled lovely. The online drop down gives you the option to pick your detergent , softener and dryer sheets. Yay! Seriously use these guys. They are super professional. Strongly suggest not using their pickup & delivery service. The prices are good but they lost my clothing items, left other people's items in my laundry, and the communication is terrible. Drivers refuse to come up to your apartment for pick up and drop off, they've tried to give me the entirely wrong bag of laundry, and you have to call multiple times when your laundry isn't picked up or delivered on schedule to even get an answer from someone. They lost a dress of mine and I had to follow up with 4-5 calls over multiple days until someone would give me a credit for the cost. They promise to call back when you report any issues but never do. I'm sad I have to make the switch to somewhere else because my first few experiences with them were great and the staff is friendly and apologetic, but I just can't use their service again for fear of losing more clothes or deal with all the issues anymore. I wouldn't recommend this pickup/delivery service to anyone. read more

The only thing saving this place is the fact that it is the cleanest laundry in the area and they aunty vibes, I really appreciate they ladies working hard. No matter what time you come all of the washers are taken up by staff washing drop off laundry. Worst is the drop off crowd is mostly gentrifiers. I've tried washing at different times of day, every day of the week since moving here and it never fails. I recently moved to the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood. Finding an apartment in this area that also offers in building laundry is slim to none. However I was glad to see there were a number of retail laundry options throughout the neighborhood. Prior to the strike of the novel COVID19 I attended a laundromat on the Malcolm X Boulevard strip. However once the virus became a pandemic that laundromat was one of the many businesses that decided to close their doors. For a while I've been struggling to find a replacement. Ive ventured to this laundry establishment on a number of occasions to drop off UPS packages, since they are listed as a registered drop off point on the UPS site. However this week was my first time trying them out to do my laundry, and I must say I was deeply disappointed. I was expecting nothing but great reviews based of their yelp reputation, but considering its been months since someone reviewed them things have changed. Upon entering the laundromat I loved the fact that there were blue markers on the floor indicating 6 ft. However in such a condense space, it appeared no one was really practicing social distancing. After loading all of my clothes into the washer it became evident to me that this establishment doesn't take cash, but instead uses another form of machine payment. I was a little pissed that I had to purchase a card for three dollars, especially considering this was a trial period. They should maybe put a sign outside stating this. But I gave in and decided let's give the establishment a try. While waiting for my clothes to wash in the washer there was a complete family in the establishment that did not have on mask. Nothing was said about their lack of mask or the lack of social distancing going on, until an elderly woman refused to enter the establishment until these two important measures were taken care of. Once this elderly woman stood her ground it was then that the laundry attendants decided to do their job in regards to reprimanding them for not wearing mask, and the rest of the consumers for not practicing social distancing. I was told, not even asked to wait outside, which from a consumer stand point is a turn off. I had no problem waiting outside especially as inside began to get packed and the social distancing would become impossible, but to be approached and told to go outside is completely bonkers. The laundry attendants need to learn how to communicate effectively with out being rude. Their behavior only got worst when  it was time for me to take my clothes out of the dryer. I was aware from the signs posted they did not want anyone folding clothes, however as some with a degree in english the sign insinuates that you do not want people using the folding tables. As I began to pack away my clothes one of the attendants keep hassling me about folding. Please keep in mind I was only folding one or two things here or there and I was using the cart in which my clothes were taken out of the dryer in, and simply transporting them into my laundry bag. I understand the need of certain precautions to stop the spread, for gods sakes my fiancee is a nurse. However it's a slap in the face the way the attendants went about trying to enforce things. Especially considering when I entered they were doing nothing to stop the spread. If it were not for the elderly woman making a scene and taking a stand I wonder if they would of done anything about the family not wearing mask or the lack of social distancing going on in such a time knit space. Overall presentation wise the set up is decent and the place seemed clean for the most part. However they need to teach their attendants how to customer service and also as some one who is bilingual and speaks Spanish they should also watch what they say! read more

This place I would not recommend. They advertise that you can get your laundry same day as pickup as long as it's not a large load.... I placed a request on 6/12th for my clothes to be picked up on 6/13th and delivered back to me the same day.... I texted them on their site to confirm that this could be done.., I got no response... so I called and they told me I would have to get my clothes delivered 24hours later at 1pm....I agreed reluctantly.... the day of delivery 1pm went by 2pm went by 3pm went by... at 4pm I called to ask where was my clothes and was told that I would have to wait another day for delivery... I asked was my clothes ready...the girl said yes and I said I will pick them up.... my clothes did not smell like fabric softener like I choose on the app... it was just a great disappointment from beginning to end... read more
