    Chicken Pho Ga

We love this great place! Authentic delicious food with fresh ingredients. Perfect lunch or date night! A lovely Vietnamese secret!

    Wide noodle kept breaking

We ordered Uber Eats... Doesn't taste like Vietnamese pho ga at all. This was chicken broth..... I asked for wide noodles and it kept breaking on me. The chicken tasted like someone just put Maggi soy sauce, msg, and a baking soda in it to marinade. Like one piece of basil too.

Bone marrow I devoured . Sorry lol

I ordered the Pho Ga with thin noodles and added Bone Marrow as well. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was my first time having bone marrow so I was a bit nervous. I scooped it out and into the broth and it added such incredible depth to it. I can't wait to try other items on the menu. Side note : when you order delivery, they add helpful instructions as to reheat! It made such a difference . Very thoughtful ! I appreciated it

Love their lunch special. Sometimes I eat in and sometimes I take it to go. Either way, so much value and delicious food

I am very glad to have found a good pho spot so close to home! Quaint little spot, inside had a good amount of seating and a very warm atmosphere. My experience here was with takeout. First thing you will notice is the ruby crab box. Certainly confused as to why they use another restaurants take out containers but ok no biggie. Sticky ribs - seem like they were steamed first then maybe hit with the broiler before being glazed in secret chili sauce. They had a decent amount of moisture, the tops had a nice texture and the sauce was yummy Shrimp summer rolls - good flavor. Well executed. Not sure about the mango in there. Peanut sauce was good but a little too thick and certainly not enough of it for all the pieces. The everything pho - Super Bowl they called it? But yea it's got everything. Meatballs are delicious, beef pieces are great. Let's keep in mind the food is not meant to be in your face. The flavors melded well together. Main reason for the 4 stars is, it didn't deliver to what I have grown accustomed to as being top noch pho. Worth noting, their hot sauce is very clean. I'm surprised by this, suggesting they use good ingredients. Overall it gets the job done well while not being the best ever. I will certainly return and try other portions of their yummy menu

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Great lunch specials and delicious food. The service is amazing. Local spot near my job, so it's a great place to sit down for lunch

Food was delicious. The restaurant itself is "hip". Our server was very efficient and pleasant. The pho soup was flavorful and there's a choice of thicker noodle which I prefer. We ordered a couple of pre fix meals and it was plenty of food for a large appetite. The meat eaters loved the pork rib appetizer. Fall off the bone goodness with South Asian sauce. The summer rolls were not shy of basil and were crispy chilled. We would definitely go back when the dmv isn't open. This would be our new go to Vietnamese restaurant.

Update review: I went again today despite my less-than-stellar experience because I saw on socials that they were having these crazy daily deals and for Mondays, they were offering some of their pho for $6.99, the price pho used to be when I was a wee lass. Jackie (?) was both at the bar and serving as it was quite crowded (probably everyone else heard about these deals). She apologized profusely for us waiting a little bit as a result. We kinda knew what we were going to get (cheapest pho on the block) but I perused the menu and saw they also still carry their lunch and dinner specials. I got the pho tai because I am a sucker for that rare beef slice. My brother got the pho ga. The service was almost a little too impressive this time, as our pho broth was poured table-side from a big carafe. Pho broth was not super, super beefy but I did notice significant improvement in flavor that I think was largely due to better saltiness from fish sauce. I also found the veggies a little crunchier than last time, though the sprouts did have that strong sprout-y taste as a result (I liked it, my brother didn't). The pho ga was super interesting as the chicken was served roasted and on the side, like the marinated pork in pho soon. I'm used to seeing it come shredded in soup, but I thought it was a nice presentation. Overall, everyone at this restaurant were working their butts off for a Monday lunch service, and the extra effort from our server Jackie (?) was very much noticed and appreciated. You really can't beat the price point of these random deals, and I left Lau Vietnamese feeling very satisfied with noodles and hearty soup to sustain me on a rainy afternoon.

Yummy! Lau is located next to the Bethpage DMV. Parking is plentiful. They had a dinner special which included an appetizer, entree and dessert for $29! Had the Bun bo hue - delicious! 10/10 - the broth was the right amount of spice and light bone broth! Mango shrimp salad was good. The dressing was very creamy. 8/10 Pistachio cake was fluffy - 8/10 Chocolate trilogy cake was very good. It had some type of chocolate mousse inside the layers 10/10. They also have a full bar! Service was great. Always checking up on us without being overbearing! Overall would def come back to try other things on the menu.

Food is delicious with a great price point. Their daily specials and happy hour are well worth a try and visit. Loved going here with friends for a night out. Would definitely come back!

Finally another yummy Vietnamese spot in Long Island. I ordered take out to satisfy my cravings and I was not disappointed. The spring rolls, the chicken bahn mi and the pork vermicelli were all delicious. What I think is really cool is that they have a lunch special option so the prices were great and it came with a Thai iced tea which was delicious.

We decided to try Lau Pho for my dad's birthday since he loves pho. This restaurant is conveniently located on Hempstead Turnpike with a large parking lot. The service here was great. They were very accommodating to our group and the stroller we had. We ordered a few appetizers - grilled squid, papaya salad and they were delicious. My parents ordered pho and it came in huge bowls and I tried the grilled lamb chops. The food were great portion sizes and yummy! The staff let us know about their lunch specials at well so we're definitely going to have to try it!

Food was great! Drinks 10 out of 10 Plenty of Vegan options (main and appetizers) The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I had to constantly FLAG down our waitress. Super busy on weekends (the service can definitely improve) But no less is a great place w/ very dim ambiance

This is probably the main reason I love it here. I'm always indecisive and usually want to try everything on a menu and this place allows it. The portions may seem small but since there are multiple items you will be stuffed. If there is an item you would like more of you are able to tell the waiter and they would bring it out. The seafood boil was great , I usually get the mixture sauce (mild) . The seafood fried rice was a hit with my mother. The sushi was fresh and I began eating it before I got a proper picture . I usually have a great experience here. I will always recommend this spot for a quick bite or a birthday event. It's a casual establishment, which makes sense because you can potentially get messy with the seafood boils. This restaurant has a menu aside from the all you can eat buffet option as well so it's enjoyable for all.

Don't think I got her name but she wore black glasses and was a pleasure!! I would say the quality of the shrimp could've been better however everything was decent overall. Drinks were good as well as the drink menu had numerous options too.

The fried calamari and jalapeño appetizer was delicious, except that I got more rings than tentacles. I would have preferred half tentacles/half rings, and there was a little too much breading for me. I also ordered the tortellini en brodo with some pancetta thrown in. I sprinkled some grated Parmesan cheese and fresh ground black pepper on top, and the flavors melded beautifully. I enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with my meal: Primitivo Di Manduria, Carlo Sani 'Oro' Riserva, Puglia. It is a full-bodied Italian red wine with a flavor profile of red jam, dark fruits, chocolate and spice--up my alley! I enjoyed it so much that I plan to buy a bottle at the first liquor store near me that has one for sale. Alex was very nice and accommodating, and the restaurant was clean. I will be back.

Hawaiian Kitchen, based in Bethpage, absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the start, they were incredibly easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli. If you're looking for reliable catering that people will actually get excited about, I can't recommend Hawaiian Kitchen enough. THANK YOU for making me look like a superstar! We will definitely be ordering again! PS - they are a small, family-owned business, and I love supporting businesses like that that really care. Give them a try!
