I'm not really well-versed in coffee, but I am well-versed in deciding if things taste great, and this mint latte was one of the best tasting lattes I've had anywhere (I'm from Queens and go to a LOT of cafes). He also mentioned they had Caribbean food; today was jerk chicken and curry chicken, and there was also rice and beans as well as plantains. I asked for the jerk chicken and plantains, and he gave me a huge box of all of the above because I mentioned I was super hungry. The owner was very kind and conversational, and service was quick and professional. Also in the cafe was a group who said they were a chess club. They told me they meet on Thursdays and Saturdays at 6:00P.M. in Capresso. I haven't played much chess before, and they said they also teach! They were all also very kind. The business hours are pretty long. It opens early, before the rest of the student union is open. It opens as early as the food halls at 7:30am on weekdays and does not close until 10PM. There are different hours on Saturday and Sunday. Starbucks is a great place to stop by after picking up a package, before watching a movie downstairs, a quick recharge while playing in the Dragon's Lair, or just as a pick me up before doing homework in the lounge. Bring your own cup/tumbler/mug! You're not only sustainable (yay!), but you also save money in the long run. The workers at Starbucks are pretty good with spelling names on this campus and do recognize you after a few months! It's a nice homey space. There are a lot of prepared foods and the staff always ask if you want food while you're ordering a drink. There are quite a few seats to do homework or chit chat with friends after picking up your drink. Cons: They DO NOT accept the birthday coupon here. And service can be slow in the beginning of the semester because they are training new baristas. Be patient! A great perk is that it is located on a Pokéstop!

I placed my order in Store, as a Walk In. I ordered a Pumpkin Latte and. A Pumpkin Muffin. There was about 12 people in the store waiting for their orders to be fulfilled. Mobile Orders kept being done and Doordash orders... I figured since Morning Coffee was supposed to be fast as a walk in, and that I would be in and out in less than 5 minutes... I waited about 25 minutes before saying something, and I didn't want to say anything because I knew they were busy. I ended up asking them if they had an order for a Pumpkin Latte back there. They told me they are doing mobile orders, and that they are "sorry because they only have 1 person working on Walk In Orders..." I waited another 8 minutes before saying something again. They said that they would Refund my Muffin. They also told me they were really sorry. They accidentally made me a Iced Latte instead of the Hot one I originally ordered. so they let me keep the old one. And they also REMADE THE LATTE the right way! The Shift Supervisor, (I think her name was Court.) made things right and she made my coffee within30 seconds. She also told me to come back tomorrow for a Free Coffee. I came back Thursday and got My Iced half calf pumpkin Coffee within 1 minute of my arrival. The reason WHY I ranked it 4 stars, even though the Long wait time, was because they felt bad.
