Delicious food. Great atmosphere. The place was packed while the fancy grille next door was mostly empty. Music playing. Great food.

Everyone was so friendly, though when we got in it said "please wait to be seated" and they were still expecting us to seat ourselves. We are from Seattle, so kind of coffee fanatics. We were really excited to try the raspberry chocolate iced coffee, but it was very bitter and didn't really taste like either one. Since it was so cheap this did not affect our view of the restaurant, plus the french vanilla iced coffee was pretty yummy. Our waitress even specially brought out vanilla creamers for it in addition to the bucket of half and half on the table. Everything on the menu was very cheap by our standards so we got three things-- the egg's Benedict, breakfast burrito, and special apple cider waffles with caramel. All were fantastic. The egg's Benedict had beautifully runny poached eggs, a good amount of hollandaise, and thin and crispy hash browns on the side. The breakfast burrito held together very nicely and had so many different flavors inside of it. I liked that it was customizable in terms of protein and toasted on the outside. The waffle was big, crispy, and had a nice apple flavor with sweet caramel drizzled all over. It also came with choice of protein on the side so we appreciated that it wasn't just the waffle. If you're looking for a great brunch spot, choose Rusty's!

The first thing that increased my appetite was the aroma. Our waitress, Rachel, was very friendly and advised us that the cook made outstanding pasta dishes. I ordered a veal dish that was outstanding-fresh vegetables, quality veal and my son's pasta with sausage was great. We had the daily soups with our meals-chicken noodle and stuffed pepper both were outstanding-fresh vegetables, chicken, and the stuffed pepper soup tasted like a stuffed pepper. Outstanding service by Rachel, outstanding homemade food with fresh vegetables and quality meats. We ordered two entrees for home the broasted chicken and veal franchise (excellent)\. Finally, the prices of all meals are reasonable. We will be going again!!!!!!!! I highly recommend--give this place a visit.

What I saw made me loss my appetite- *cook would text, and then handle precooked and cooked food without washing hands or even wiping off hands. *also would rub face and then go back to handing food that was being platted up *not once did I see him wash his hands. Closest to cleaning hands was wiping hands on sides of dirty apron. Which only would happen from time to time. Really disappointing to see a lack of hygiene with the items coming off of the griddle top.

FIFTIES DINER We have been going to the Fifties Diner for…read moremany years and have always enjoyed it, but today's breakfast was the best we've ever had. I ordered the Fifties Diner Special, which came with 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, rye toast, and two pancakes. Everything was excellent. The home fries arrived hot, the eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, the bacon was crisp, and the sausages were large and flavorful. The rye toast was already buttered, which was a nice touch. The pancakes were especially impressive--fluffy, moist, and served with four soft butter pats and plenty of syrup. The coffee was served in the classic old-fashioned white restaurant mugs, which added to the diner's nostalgic charm. My wife ordered the meat omelet, and it did not disappoint. It was huge, packed with meat, hot, cheesy, and cooked perfectly. The food, service, and overall experience were outstanding. After many years of visiting, this was easily our favorite meal at the Fifties Diner.

I ordered chicken tenders and fries... paper thin tenders over cooked. The fries were good. My fiancé ordered a Ruben. The meat was grilled before going on the sandwich and was extremely rubbery and lacked all flavor. What worse was the service.. waited 15 plus minutes to order our drinks and our food. It all came out at the same time.. drinks, appetizer and dinner. Our waitress never checked back for refills or even to see how food was. She was talking on her phone instead of helping her customers. Overall I'd say McDonald's across the street will give you better for and service.
