Me and my friends had the best service here. I've never left a Yelp review before and I redownloaded Yelp just to say that the person who was servicing let us try many samples and was very informative with what we are eating. The food was also really good and nicely priced. read more

I went here for lunch with a few friends. I loved that it has its own space away from the food court. I felt like I could enjoy the food and my company more. The butter chicken and paneer were both delicious! The workers are friendly. I also enjoyed the chai! I love that there is an Indian place closer to the westside because otherwise, I'd have to go into town for really good Indian cuisine, but we have it right here in Pearlridge! read more

The Indian/Nepalese food was yummy and very filling. Tried a variety of dishes including lamb, chicken butter, chicken and eggplant curry with palak paneer, samosa, and garlic naan. Finished the meal with their homemade mango drink. Be aware that when they say spicy, they mean it--but it's delicious. The staff were very friendly and well-informed about the food. Cute tables to dine in and enjoy the food. read more

Soooo good, love their butter chicken and garlic naan. Would definitely visit again for the same menu.

I ordered their 2 choice meats and sides plate choosing butter chicken and curry chicken with palak paneer, Chana masala and 2 samosas and 2 garlic naan breads! Can't forget the mango yogurt lassi drink! Food was pretty legit. I'll be back! read more

I've been meaning to try this new place! Today was the day. As a first time customer, I was confused by the menu. However, I ordered a "combo" plate which comes with 2 meats, 2 veggies and rice. I opted for butter chicken, chicken curry, cabbage and chickpeas. Everything was delicious and big enough for 2 people to share. I also ordered a butter naan. Next time I'll try the garlic. I would love to try other dishes. Will be back. Also, be careful opening the lid, the curry will splash and stain. read more

Super kind people and impeccable food I would definitely come back. the butter chicken and lamb curry are to die for definitely recommend!!!

Polite, friendly service... loved everything that i got!: palaak paneer, bhaji and butter chicken!

One of my go to spots! I started going to Lasoon when they were only at UH Manoa and loved it, I was so excited when I heard they opened up a location closer to my house First of all, the food is delicious. I always get butter chicken with palak paneer or chana masala. Other things I'd recommend are their samosas, mango lassi, and iced chai, I get these everytime I need a snack. Next, customer service is amazing! They are always so sweet to me. They always greet their customers with a big smile. Everytime I have questions about an item, they're quick to answer and they give me recommendations. Their food is great, but the customer service is the reason why I always come back. read more

Meh...the food at the UH Mānoa location is incredible. This location, not so much. Quite a let down, actually. The butter vegetables were the best item on the plate, but even that was a little off- overly sweet. The rice was hard, as were the lentils in the daal. The texture of the palak paneer was on point, but the flavor was, well, bland at best. I might be willing to give it one more try. Maybe they were having an off day? I'm being generously optimistic because I'm not quite ready to accept the disappointment that this location was yet. read more

It's good. Had a mini plate of lamb curry, basmati rice and butter vegetables. It was a lot of food for me cost was about $16. The curry had a lot of soft lamb meat very tasty. The butter veggies....ono! I like butter chicken so it's the same but veggies instead. That was very good. I was hungry so I didn't get a pic, just dug in. Lol They're located across from Hot Topic where guava smoked was. I'd go back for sure! read more

Soft opening 5/18. Busy! Former Guava Smoked location. Wai Makai 2nd floor. Service is good, staff are super nice and friendly. They even asked for our feedback while we were eating. Today service was super slow since everyone wants to try the food on opening (soft) day. Food is good, but has a fast food feel, (which I'm not used to for Indian food) so temperature and availability really varied. Hubby ordered the tandoori oven lamb boti kebab. Turns out it takes 15 minutes because it's cooked to order. It was tender as advertised, and very tasty. Was not on a skewer, but that didn't matter (easier that way). Came with slightly sautéed bell peppers and red onion. All were tasty. Also came with rice (basmati or brown) but that wasn't on the board. (I did mention it should say 15 minutes for tandoori items on the menu, and that rice is included. Lady asking how everything was agreed that the board should be changed. Naan was also slow in coming out. We had ordered plain, but hubby saw some people getting theirs so he went to check. The garlic naan was coming out so they offered that to us with no extra charge. It was delicious! Not as garlicky as some places, not as light, but still good, warm, fresh. I had a mini butter chicken (on the milder side) with basmati, palak paneer (spinach and Indian cheese), which is one of my favorite dishes, and cabbage bahji. Cabbage was not spicy and was tasty. I had never had it before. Palak paneer was not spicy but paneer was a little too firm to my liking. (Could be that's the only kind available in Honolulu. When I've bought it in the Indian store it was firmer than what I've had in other countries.) basmati was cooked perfectly. First time I had plain basmati, usually it's seasoned but it was fine. Butter Chicken was tasty, not very spicy. and had a slight sweetness. It was good. Hubby tried it and agreed (He liked Tikka Masala, but they didn't have any and the butter chicken was similar but not spicy.) Samoa wasn't as crisp on the outside as hoped for, but it was the last one in the batch so I guess that's to be expected. It was very spicy (spiciest item had), and tasty. It came with a dipping sauce that was good, but would have been good even without the sauce. Summary - only tandoori items are cooked to order. Everything else is served from the chafing dishes and not as hot as it could have been. They do have mango lassi but we didn't try it. I have only eaten Nepalese food once and I didn't recognize any of the dishes as Nepalese, but it is probably just me and my lack of experience. Will definitely be back once the crowds die down. I suspect my rating could go up if the kinks get worked out. But after all, today was a soft opening so I expect that they will! read more

I bought the lamb curry with chickpeas and spinach as sides, basmatic rice. I also got garlic Naan and samosas. The samosas was my favorite, even though it was meatless. Some pieces of lamb were tough, but most were cooked well and didn't have a gamey taste. The spinach with pieces of cheese in it was great. The chickpeas was also flavorful and compliemented the lamb curry. I am so glad I tried the mango lassie. It was sooooo good! The garlic Naan was not as garlicky as I expected. I ate with the rest of the tamarind sauce from my samosa. I was hungry, but everything took two meals to finish. I would go again. read more

My wife left behind an envelope with cash accidentally during a purchase last week. It was a payment she was holding from our granddaughters payday. She searched high and low and thought it was lost. Apparently the staff found it, held it and was searching the crowds for her. She called them today after almost giving up and they where happy to hear from her! They had it and my wife picked it up today. They absolutely refused a reward. They deserve recognition for this honest and professional conduct. We are very grateful to this business and their amazing staff! Thank you!! read more

This place... AMAZING. Super friendly staff. Walked in and they greeted us like we were family. Explained the different types of food they had to offer. They even warned me that the eggplant was SPICY. Ended up getting the lamb curry, butter chicken combo with rice, eggplant, and cabbage. Lamb curry, A1. Butter chicken, A1 S-Tier, top of the podium type of dish. Cabbage, solid. Rice, solid. Spicy Eggplant, SPICY. That thing was no joke spicy(which they warned me about). I loved it even if I know my tummy is gonna start a battle with it. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will be back again! read more

Such delicious food ! The spice level is very low & mild, but the flavors are amazing. I will definitely be returning for another fix. The customer service is also amazing. Lasoon - Lamb curry, cabbage bahji, & some jack fruit - Himalayan/Nepalese Near Me - Aiea, Hawaii

Food is awesome. My fiancée got the Tandoori chicken & I got the combo plate to try a little of everything. I chose the Daal, Butter Vegetables, Butter chicken and lamb curry with basmati rice. literally everything was delicious. The butter vegetables was a similar sauce to the butter chicken but the chicken had more of a rich flavor to it. The lamb curry was my favorite dish on the plate. The lamb curry tasted like the it had been simmering on the stove for hours getting tender and flavorful. The perfect bite was a little daal with lamb curry and rice in the cheese naan. CHEF's KISS. My fiancee said he really liked the tandoori chicken with their green sauce. Customer service was fantastic. The nicest people working the counter and if you're looking to dine in, they had a few tables available inside. We will be back again for sure! read more

So excited to have an Indian Curry place in Aiea! Lasoon is in Downtown Pearlridge across from Koromo. I had the mini plate with butter chicken and palak paneer. The paneer was so delish. We will definitely be back! This place is such a great addition to Pearlridge and I hope they do well. I got the basmati rice, butter chicken, chickpeas, and the spinach with cottage cheese cubes (I wasn't sure about this one but it's my new favorite Indian side dish). I also got the garlic naan, samosa, and a sample of their spicy eggplant (the spice level is comparable to buldak ramen) Everything was delicious and I'm craving it as I write this post. The gentlemen who helped me was also so kind and informative. read more

Really like their food. We tried the butter chicken , chicken curry along with the spinach / cheese dish with garbanzo beans dish and the spicy eggplant. It is ! Basmati rice goes perfect with the butter chicken. Samosa's are good the dipping sauce is good with it. We had the garlic naan bread. Yummy so soft flavorful and warm. The service was amazing the two gentlemen working behind the counter were pleasant and helpful. Portions were filling. We never had Indian Food and will be back here again read more

Located at Pearlridge center with lots of parking. I was excited to try something new! Glad my husband found this place. Butter chicken is amazingly delicious with their garlic naan bread! Best combo ever! Their service was awesome and the place is small. There are a few tables you can eat on, but gets filled pretty quickly. There was a line when we entered, but it moved fairly quickly. Their spicy eggplant was toooooo spicy for me. Their mango lassi was delicious, but a bit pricey. I'd get it again, lol. Amazing food and service. Will definitely come here again. read more

The falvors of the palek paneer were on point. But the serving of actual paneer cheese was tiny. I appreciated the pita and the rice though.

First time eating here and everything was so good! I originally ordered the spicy eggplant, and the guy at the counter gave me a heads-up that it was really spicy. I switched to something else, but he still gave me a little bit to try, which was super nice. The samosas were amazing, and honestly everything we tried was delicious. Great food and super friendly service -- I'll definitely be back! read more

Great food reasonable price. I was craving Indian and stumbled upon this place. New and very clean. I ordered 2 choice butter chicken and lamb curry. Made my meal perfect with the garlic Naan and the Samosa. Ended up eating only half the plate, which I later consumed that evening. When you want great, hopefully healthy food, check them out. I'm not sure if the owner was helping, but the front of house staff was very kind. I have been once every other week and will probably be back many times. read more

This review is based off of service and food. The service was great, we walked by right before they closed and asked if they were open and without hesitation they welcomed my wife and I. We asked about the dishes and the person working the front who I suspect is the owner (not sure though) was very helpful and informative. Food We got garlic naan, samosa, butter chicken, lamb, a chickpea vegetable and spinach with something that resemble mozzarella cheese, not sure though. All the food was very flavorful and enjoyable. If you're looking for something different that will satisfy your taste buds, this is the place. Butter chicken was delicious, but I really enjoyed the spinach dish and the chickpea dish. I would highly recommend if you're in the Aiea area or if you want delicious flavorful food that you won't feel guilty about eating. 9.6/10 read more

Service was awesome, They are very friendly and willing to talk story. We got take out because it was super busy but I guess that's a good sign of the food being good. I didn't care too much for the Lamb Stew because the lamb itself was over cooked and chewy but my other half enjoyed his Butter chicken and I loved my Samosas. It doesn't taste as authentic as some restaurants in town but it is a Fusion so you can expect that. Still tastes good and I love that they are the first to make Indian food closer to the West side. read more

Good food, decent prices, great service! We tried a little of everything today. Spicy eggplant, chana masala, yellow daal, samosas, momo, mango lassi, and ALL 3 naan flavors. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Especially the naan, daal, and chana masala, but the samosas were AMAZING! A must have. Next time we'll pass on the momo, I think it had lamb, and I'm not a fan of lamb, but everything else was so so good. We can't wait to return! Please try for yourself! read more

I used to have Indian cuisine all the time when I had an office in town, It has been awhile, so I was excited when I heard Lasoon was opening up closer to home. I tried the Lamb Curry for my main and Butter Chicken and Spicy Eggplant for my sides. I also had the Garlic Naan and a Coke. The Lamb Curry had a great flavor, but the lamb was very dry. I also liked the flavor of the Butter Vegetables and Spicy Eggplant, but the vegetables in the Butter Vegetables were a bit too sweet. They seemed to be pickled in a sweet brine. The Soicy Eggplant was a bit too spicy for my taste and a little bitter, but eggplant skin can sometimes be that way. The Garlic Naan had great flavor, but it was very tough. Almost like how. Read gets when over microwaved. Overall the flavors were good, so I may go back to try the Tandoori as well as the sides that I would normally get like the Chickpea or Spinach dishes. It is a bit expensive as my meal with drink was $25, but Indian food is hard to find and normally on the higher cost side. read more

Came back again for more Indian food after watching Captain America. Husband ordered the tandoori chicken. He ate every bit of it. Chicken was flavorful and moist. Not dry at all. I had the butter chicken plate. Very good although the spicy eggplant was alittle hot for me this time. I'm not sure why because I love spicy foods. Owner wasn't there today. Girl at the front needs to be alittle more friendlier. People do remember the food but also the service that they receive. read more

FINALLY! Indian cuisine on the Leeward side that has meat on the menu. Don't get me wrong, the veggies are great but I'm a carnivore at heart! Was greeted by a few smiling faces while I checked out the hot line and had all my questions answered by a knowledgeable employee. There was 6 meat & 6 veggie options to choose from, all of which looked mouth wateringly delicious. I decided on the combo plate, 2 meat & 2 veggies w/ basmati rice. Lamb curry, butter chicken, daal & curry cabbage. They also have side orders of samosas. This is how I always rate a great indian place, their samosa. Definitely my top 3 EVER!! The flavor was so on point I didn't even need any of the sauce it comes with. The lamb was unbelievably tender and the spice level was perfect for me. Which means not spicy at all. The butter chicken was a little on the sweet side for my taste but still cooked to perfection. Any cook/ chef that can elevate something as bland as cabbage deserves praise in my book! It was my first time having daal (lentils) and I loved it! Slightly garlicky and perfect saltiness. All in all, I'll be telling all my friends (and the YELP community) about this great little gem in downtown Pearlridge. I can't wait to try all the other items especially their momo dumplings read more
