Taylor was the nurse who did my C&B in this Laseraway. I had it a few times in other laseraway in CA but it was the first time I had it here at University district. I wasn't late but the front desk was busy so I waited a while before they had time to apply numbing cream, which was supposed to take 15mins to be effective. After being applied the cream, I was left in Room 2 for 10 min before Taylor came in. She began trying to scrub the cream off my face. I had to let her know that the cream was only there for 10mins. She was questioning if I was late and said she could only give me a few mins. I thanked her. After 8mins she came back in and we removed the cream and cleaned. Taylor gave me a portable fan and started the laser. The fan stopped working in a few seconds. Taylor didn't care at all and saying "oh how unfortunate. It will be really fast!" It was the forehead part which wasn't too bad. Then she started the right face part and around the edge jawline, which was quite painful. I was trying to hold it but it was too bad that I almost screamed. I knew I should have applied the numbing cream myself, knowing my sensitive spots better. Taylor heard it and said no it wasn't the case as they were all professionally trained. I said I wasn't saying it wasn't a good job, each person naught just know their skin better. So other laseraway always let me apply numbing cream myself. She kept saying no. Anyway, I tried to stop her but she just kept going, saying "it would be fast!" "I'm almost done!" "Only 5min!" "If I do this fast, then you will get to your car sooner to get the AC." It felt like she was only rushing without a care about your personal feelings. Finally at a spot that I couldn't bare the pain anymore, I had to say sorry and jumped off the bed and got my little pouch that had icing pack in the fridge. She got very angry and said quite aggressively "you are not allowed to put personal items in our fridge!" I got scared and apologized. I said I didn't know as the laseraways and other beauty clinics I went before didn't have the problem with me. She used a tone that sounded unbelievable saying "they allow you to put your personal items in the fridge?!" I said yes I wasn't lying about it. I was glad that I was at least prepared for that. Otherwise Taylor wouldn't even give me an ice pack or anything that soothes my pain. She said if I gave her just 5mins everything would be done. She didn't understand why I would jump off the bed to interrupt her treatment! I apologized for feeling too painful. She got very upset, saying it would be just a few mins anyway! The whole procedure took about 10mins with 6-8mins C&B treatment, It was the fast C&B treatment I've ever had. I asked Taylor at the beginning and she said "what do you mean? I went through 8 times already!" I thought it was a different and shorter procedure now with the updated version. Taylor found the fan working again and accused me of turning it off. I apologized and said that I didn't remember clicking the button to turn it off. She was kind enough to let me use the fan this time. But as soon as I held it in my hand, she said my finger wasn't in the right position, which caused the fan to turn off, saying "see? The fan is working! It was you!" As I was holding the fan, I could smell strong odor from her armpits, which wasn't there when the fan wasn't working. So be prepared when you had Taylor as your practitioner. If you decided to use the fan during her treatment, just hold your breath for as long as you can. I understood that she had been working for a whole day(my appointment was at 4:45pm). But the smell was quite strong that there was no solution to ignore that. At the end of the treatment, I asked Taylor if she would like to go through the top of my nose. She said she went through it already, which was a lie as it was blocked by the eye cover. I humbly asked her again because all other clinics all went through between my eyes for the large pores I had there. If she was just impatient earlier, now she became really rude and intimidating. She cringed and said no matter what I said, she went through that part already! So I begged her and said please. She finally took the device and did for literally 2sec and said it was done! Then she started rushing with the instructions of post treatment care. I apologized again for placing my personal soothing masks and ice pack in the fridge. I appreciated her time as I knew she couldn't wait to get me out of here. With her intimidating attitude, she seemed like she could have done anything to hurt your skin or feelings. I was shaking with how rude her manner was. My face was in a lot of pain. She wouldn't treat her clients (at least me) with any respect. You could see her more as a butcher than a beauty clinic practitioner. She treats your skin emotionlessly like it was lifeless to her. I have received 3 laser hair removal treatments sessions here. Overall, I am pleased with the staff and services. I will say, I booked a few different areas to receive the laser hair removal and I wish more time was spent on the Brazilian during my treatment sessions. Treatment in this area has not been as thorough when compared to some other areas, such as my legs. This is disappointing being the Brazilian was the main reason I booked the laser hair removal service in the first place and I have noticed the treatments to be less effective up to this point. I think this is due to less time being dedicated to this area resulting in less thorough treatments. Overall, everyone is very nice and the facility is clean and well kept. I just hope they spend more time the Brazilian moving forward so the area gets properly treated and I didn't waste my money. read more

I've had a few Clear and Brilliant facials done here and really like it. I'm not great at self care or pampering myself and often feel a bit out of place at places like this but instead I always feel welcomed and like the women at the front desk are excited to see me. The nurses are all so sweet and make me feel at ease and I have really noticed an improvement in my skin even after 3. I genuinely loved this place at first but I had a bad experience with one of the lady's, so last week I went in for my appointment and waited about 20 minutes before the front desk people told me that the lady who does my lips actually put her two weeks in and half way through her two weeks she decided not to come the day of my appointment which is fine things happen but I traveled to LaserAway for my appointment they open at 8 am my appointment was at 11, they had 3 hours to inform me she wasn't there to reschedule which I understand things happen but it brings me to my point so today I had an appointment and the lady I spoke with was very rude, she told me that there's no spots available till after my syringe expires so I asked her can I go to the other location because when I went to my appointment that got canceled because the lady didn't show up they asked me if I could go to another location, she rudely says " no we don't offer that " so I said " we'll that's weird because last time they didn't offer me that in person to my face, two ladies actually " then she proceeded to tell me no that's wrong and they don't do that. This was my birthday present to myself and I wish I never got them done in the first place because I feel ripped off now I'm not even satisfied with them, genuinely a waste of my time and money. read more

I have a has a great experience with LaserAway. They have many different options to fit your needs and budget. I highly recommend the premium membership because you get a lot of awesome perks and get tons of points to use for other services. My only issue is that they book up very quickly! If you have to reschedule an appointment less than 2-3 weeks before, you'll have to reschedule for weeks after your original appointment. So know what appointment time will work for you for sure, or reschedule at least a month in advance. Otherwise, the staff is so friendly and helpful at every appointment. My overall experience at LaserAway has been wonderful. I had my Coolscrupting treatment done back in may and just recently got my lip filler with nurse Maddie! I was so nervous walking into both of the appointments being a first timer for pampering treatments like these. Nurse Maddie was very professional and friendly, made me feel very comfortable in both of the experiences. I received few areas on my abdominal area for coolscrupting, definitely seeing my body getting more tone with proper diet and exercise. That little muffin top no long distinguishable as a muffin. For my lip filler experience, it did still hurt a little bit after the numbing cream. The final result of my lips looked amazing and the effect was instant. I looked at the mirror with a happy surprise of seeing the enhancement. I have never felt this confidence with such even and plumped lips, really enhanced my overall proportion of face feature.
