I had my lido cream on for a bit over an hour and when it was time for my micro needling it felt sooo painful my face was pulsating and tears ran down my cheeks. If I was exaggerating God would strike me now. I would ideally like the treatment within 30 mins of lido. The nurse was also flipping through something and checked her phone while doing my treatment which added to the pain and anxiety. Lemme find out she was reading the manual on how to do it while doing it. knowing it was my first potenza it would be nice to talk me through it at each step. Not a fun experience. I've been coming here for tattoo removal because I bought a package and I still have lots of uses left. Since then, they have cancelled my tattoo removal the night before 5 times. Tonight was the 5th time. Their tattoo removal machine is not a Pico laser, it's off brand. So it breaks down all the time and takes twice as long to remove your tattoos as the Pico laser does. I didn't know this before I bought the package. The saleswoman never told me they use an off brand machine. When the very aggressive sales lady sold me the package she never told me what laser they used. They always cancel around 7pm for a next day appointment at 10 am. No exceptions. I've never experienced this at any other location where I got many other tattoos removed before. I normally go to reputable plastic surgeons offices. They have never offered me any refunds, compensation, or complementary services for doing this to me. Sometimes I've canceled work for these appointments, so I ended up losing a full days of pay. Their tattoo machine breaks down regularly, in both the Kirkland and Seattle location. And they have very very very high staff turnover. It's never the same tech or nurse. They don't know anything about your treatment and it's a new person meeting you and your case each time. There is zero consistency. Same with Botox. They offer 8$ a unit Botox, and financing. But it's never ever the same nurse. Each time I get completely different results and units per area. There is zero consistency. Same with filler. They are also not allowed to inject more than HALF the areas other plastic surgeons offices are allowed to. And the aggressive saleswoman never told that. They don't do Botox on many areas, and they don't do filler on many areas a normal place would. read more

I've been a loyal LaserAway customer since they opened in Seattle, but today's experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Not a 100% sure about the estheticians name I think Rosie* - During my laser facial, I politely asked the esthetician to wear a mask--as I've work travel coming up and, since I can't wear one during treatment, I expected the provider to take basic precautions. Instead of respecting the request, she questioned me in a rude and dismissive way, saying things like, "Is there a reason why?" and "What will you do if I don't have one?" I was told by LaserAway previously that providers are required to wear masks during facials, but she brushed that off with, "That was during COVID, not anymore." She did eventually wear the mask, but returned visibly annoyed. She didn't ask about laser intensity, didn't offer a fan, and when I requested one, she literally tossed it at me while I was already wearing protective goggles. The treatment felt rushed, impersonal, and took less than five minutes--when it typically takes closer to 15. Her cold demeanor made the entire experience uncomfortable and stressful. This kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and goes against the quality and client care LaserAway claims to stand for. I left feeling disrespected and honestly quite shaken. I hope this is addressed seriously, because no one should be treated this way--especially at a facility like this. read more

I went to Laser Away for full lower half laser hair removal. I had 8 or 9 sessions I can't recall, and paid over $3k. half my technicians were great and half were rushing, didn't "mark" my legs fully with the chalk and did the full laser removal in 25 mins (the thorough ones took 50 mins and were zapping much more) My biggest issue is that only about 60% of my hair is gone... so that's nice I guess but doesnt reduce how often I have to shave at all. I finished up two months ago and it really seems to be coming back in rapidly. My first two sessions were way too light, which I gave feedback on so finally they dialed it up but I do feel like I wasted a quarter of my sessions with a very light laser. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the % of hair gone I was told no problem, I can book more sessions for 55% off. read more

This place is the biggest SCAM of a company EVER. Hate is not a strong enough word. DO NOT GO HERE Not only will you get zero to extremely minimal results after paying thousands and thousands of dollars, but you also will need to hand over money to them FOREVER because their scam (which was told to me by MULTIPLE disgruntled employees/nurses there) is that the laser nurses are ORDERED to use an insanely LOW laser frequency treatment level because they don't WANT you to get great results because they need you to keep coming back every other month way after your package is used up. When you're signing your contract, they promise you the sun, moon, and stars in incredible results, and tell you how much of a "perfect, ideal candidate" you are. Then after you sign away THOUSANDS AND THOUSAND OF DOLLARS TO THESE FRAUDS, and you get little to no results after over a dozen treatments, they tell you, "oh well everyone is different and most people need follow up treatment..." They outright LIE. Their nurses told me they are forced by Corporate to use very weak and low strength with the laser on people because they don't WANT you to have great results, because it's less money for them in not just one or two follow up visits, but pretty much forever. Their own STAFF constantly vents about how Corporate treats their employees like garbage, and does not want clients getting results within their package time. The EXTREMELY HIGH turnover rate there (literally multiple new employees at EVERY visit, and the old ones are gone to greener pastures). I've never been to a business in which the employees openly discuss with clients just how big of a SCAM their place of work (Laser Away) is. They have told me when my package runs out, to go to a dermatologist who does CORRECT AND APPROPRIATE laser hair removal where you actually get results, and not scammed on some super old, ancient, purposely weak AF laser technology so almighty corporate greed can suck patients dry of time and money on weak laser treatments. I've also asked for Corporate to call me at LEAST a half dozen times because of endless issues I've had there, from barely any results, to them completely screwing up my appointments. Do they call? NOPE!! But they sure stole my money, and continue to do so. To top it off, they scammed me into paying WILD INTEREST on the loan by checking the box that was the MINIMUM PAYMENT EACH MONTH, so now I owe over a thousand dollars to them, primarily in interest, when EVERYTHING I have ever done through them was promised to be the maximum payment each month so I won't have to pay any interest, and it would be paid off at 0% interest in a year. THAT is what I agreed to; however, someone screwed up on their little iPad where the contract is, and put the MINIMUM payment with MAXIMUM INTEREST. The majority of their positive online reviews are FAKE AND PAID FOR by a China/India bot farm company. Nobody who actually goes here EVER says how great it is. I mean, just start reading the 5 star reviews. It's SO OBVIOUS they are fake, computer generated/paid for reviews that Laser Away's giant greed machine paid for. The ONLY positive experience in any of this is Elizabeth, who at least does her best, and is kind and professional, despite having to work for a company that gives zero f's about their clients who pay thousands, OR their employees. I'm letting you in on a little secret, Taylor at the U District LaserAway IS the right person. She is a no nonsense type who knows what she's doing. (I hope she teaches the other technicians her methods) Additionally, I have been going to Laser Away since 2014, but I recently moved to Seattle from San Diego and had to continue my treatments without interruption, and this location is the ONLY location that has treated me with a kindness I have not received at their San Diego locations in La Jolla, and in Hillcrest. For example, I never knew they had an app which includes giveaways! I've been missing out for years! Also, the San Diego LaserAway locations never shared the before care and aftercare instructions like this location does. I have received an extensive education regarding sun block usage, and best practices to avoid sun exposure to protect my skin (Thank you Taylor). Bait and switch. I purchased 50 units of Xeomin with the intention of spreading out the treatments between two sessions. I made that clear to the receptionist and told the lady treating me that I usually get 20-30 units at a time. They have great package deals and even have payment plans available through a third party that allows you to make monthly payments with no interest. The prices are much more manageable this way.
