Spent $8,800 on laser hair removal, all of my hair grew back in just 2 months after completing 8-10 sessions for face and body, total 26 sessions. I'm so disappointed that a years worth of treatments didn't do anything. I will say all of the nurses/technicians were very sweet and kind. So just a warning, you're not guaranteed that any of the laser treatments will work, even when I was told it was a guaranteed result. When I asked why the price changed so dramatically, they give lame excuses like you probably called a really long time ago and our machines have been upgraded to the newest technology but when I ask when they upgraded, it was a really long time ago that they upgraded like more than several months ago! I called a few times within days of each phone call and they don't ask when I last called they just give lame excuse after excuse say the price is different because the machines have upgraded & they assumed I called like a year or longer ago. I love laser away! Just finished my 1st appt at their first Hawai'i location in ala Moana. They're very quick to get you into a room, the clinic is super clean, waiting room is pretty. I got laser for my underarms, Brazilian, & happy trail. The cooling air device they use along with the laser gun makes a big difference. I Call the business at 4:38 to let them know I'll be late because of traffic. The lady on the phone says it's okay and they'll see me when i get there. If you live in Honolulu, you know that this is the height of rush hour traffic and all the streets are redirected. I PARK and then receive a phone call that my appointment could not be kept because they need to move on to the other patient. INTERESTING BECAUSE YOU MOVED MY APPOINTMENT. The kicker? On the Better Business Bureau website, this business is not new to receiving complaints. Just like the previous reviewers, this establishment is RELENTLESSLY attempting to contact me after I have repeatedly requested them to stop. This establishment is so unprofessional and has extremely predatory behavior in an attempt to make sales. Initially, I was looking into a specific treatment on their website. For me to look at the services, I needed to input my contact information and I was directed to a window to book a consultation with them, which was not something I wanted initially. I closed that window and thought nothing of it. For the next two days, I have been contacting me trying to get an appointment with them and it is EXHAUSTING. I have blocked the Honolulu location AND the San Diego location due to their attempts at calling me. I started Laser Away Hawaii in April, my treatments are for chin hairs and tattoo removal. I have completed 4 treatments for chin hair removal, I had about 10 or less hairs on my chin which I hated, but now I have none. The nurses and staff are very professional and treat you with respect and dignity. The facility is very nice and clean. I have five or six treatments left and was informed not to use the treatments just to satisfy treatment payments. I can use for other services or save just in case. I thought wow, they did not have to say that but I appreciate the honesty and integrity of the business. My tattoo, I am still in the process of removing and cannot wait till it is successfully removed. I have only done two treatments because it requires time to heel for best results. I also appreciate that if I move to another state, there will be other Laser Away facilities in the area that I plan to move, biggest bonus. If you have anything you want to better yourself this facility is the place to get your treatments completed with great results. I plan on adding more treatments to my package. Giving a 2 star for now and will give an update after I am done with my treatment. I currently have 10 sessions of a tattoo removal that I have with this company and I have already done 3 so far. But I am very skeptical about this business after the fact I had done my 3rd session. I have before and after pictures of my tattoo removal and I see no difference. It has not changed. I have seen a lot of TikTok reviews about this company "scamming" or people have not been getting results that they want after spending thousands of dollars. Not at this specific location but this company around the world. I get new nurses or laser tech's working on me each time and my last session I had told her i want to go up in setting cause I see no difference. They always tell me "oh it looks like it has faded a lot" even though they take pictures etc I believe it's apart of their job to say that even tho it's not true. This is my body/my tattoo I look at everyday and have before and after pictures so I know when it's fading or not. I just don't want to go through so many sessions and go through all that pain for it to only fade lightly. Or for them to convince me to buy another tattoo removal package. The purpose is to have it gone or almost gone. I've seen a TikTok video where someone said they use the lowest setting just so clients come back & spend more money on treatments. I hope my next appointment I have results or see more change. I've seen too many bad reviews on TikTok about this company and I just hope my experience is otherwise. 1 star for front desk customer service & another star for all the laser tech's empathy with the pain I deal with. I've seen many other places on clients 3rd or 4th sessions with tattoo laser removal with a big difference and mine still looks the same after 3 sessions. I had my first laser hair removal treatment a couple days ago. My treatments are Brazilian and armpits. It was the easiest & fastest appointment I've ever had. Once I found a spot ( they're by the Starbucks at Ala Moana Center ) I checked in and went straight back. Sarah was my nurse and she was very nice and easy to chat with. Even though I've had two children and a few tattoos I was so nervous it was going to hurt but it was literally 1/10 pain. Super quick and the cool air they blow on you kind of distracts you as well.
