I was very hesitant about the thought of getting laser tattoo removal on my eyelids because I've seen gross blister pictures on Google--but on other parts of the body. Rest assured, cosmetic tattoos rarely blister. My first experience with laser tattoo removal was at another business because I saw it on Groupon, although my eyeliner didn't apply to the special. I had only the ends removed so I received a discount anyway. The part-time employees there were super friendly & the pain was as described (like a flick of a rubber band), but I found the InkOff MD business card I got from Beauty Bliss by Mary (who gave my madre the best eyebrows!) which led me to cancel my follow-up appointment with the other business to see Dr. Chung. At Dr. Chung's medical practice, you can guarantee that you get your tattoo removed by a highly trained, licensed physician with the best in laser removal technology. Plus, you don't get a frozen glove of ice to "numb" the procedural area. I've a high pain tolerance, but I prefer the numbing injection that Dr. Chung provided. Due to the nature of my procedure being so close to my eyes, I appreciated the precautions Dr. Chung took to make safety a priority including giving me numbing eyedrops & putting contact-like shields in my eyes for extra protection. Overall, I felt more comfortable here than at the other place. Two sessions later, my eyeliner is gone (combination of cosmetic & tattoo ink)! There's still some pigment left, but I'm satisfied with the results. I paid per treatment so the cost of removal was affordable. Keep in mind that results vary per patient. Apparently, mine was a special case where it only took two sessions. It may be more cost beneficial to opt for the 4-session package which includes 6 months free if more sessions are needed in that time period. So who said tattoos are forever? At my appointment, the technician Emily mentioned I could purchase directly from her in the future, and she'd still honor the Groupon price, which was super kind of her. If you're interested, check if the deal is still available online. The Groupon covers small, medium, and large tattoo removal areas. For my next session, I'll be booking directly through her. This was my first experience with any type of tattoo removal, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous. I'd heard it can be more painful than getting a tattoo. Emily doesn't use numbing cream, but she has a cold air machine that blows over the area while the laser works. It helped a lot, less of a shock than I expected. Since the area was small, I was in and out in about 15 minutes. In terms of pain, I'd say it felt pretty similar to getting the original tattoo. If you've had your brows tattoo and touched up, you know what I mean. (The pain isn't the best) Even after just one session, I noticed a big difference. The pigment lifted way more than I thought it would. I'll probably need one more session since I've had multiple tattoo applications over the years, but I'm already really happy with the results. CONSULTATION: I had a consultation with Dr. Phan and as like anyone else i was pretty nervous, i had watched all the youtube, TikTok videos i could find for breast aug and it didn't seem like enough. Dr. Phan is amazing at going through every detail and knowing what will suit YOUR body and what i liked most about him was he cares more of what looks BEST for YOUR body. If you haven't don't much research he is more than willing to answer your questions and he will work with you to find a good solution, one that you will also be happy with. He will also do the best and the most he can for you in the safest way possible. That was the moment i knew i was at the right place. SURGERY DAY: Prior to surgery day they will give you a packet basically telling you what need to do to prep yourself for surgery. When you arrive you need to the basics, take a pregnancy test, undress into the gown they give you. The nurse i totally forgot her name i was so anxious that morning lol, but she sets you up with an IV then you wait for doc to mark you up and after that you're into the OP room! I have one small spot that may need a small revision (a really small dog ear, maybe) IF it doesn't just go flat and heal in the next 6 months, but I'm confident Dr. Phan will fix something if it needs it and I also know it's a very common occurrence after surgery and a quick fix. After evaluating me, they told me they had a laser that could specifically target my matting veins and quoted $500 to treat select areas on both legs. Although this was a big jump from what I initially planned to spend, I agreed based on what sounded like a more specialized and promising approach. However, during the treatment, I immediately had concerns. The laser felt significantly less intense than the IPL and Cynosure treatments I'd previously had, and there was none of the snapping sensation I was used to, something that had typically indicated an effective treatment. What was most surprising and disappointing was the limited treatment area. They only marked off 3-4 small boxes on my legs, whereas prior treatments at a similar price point covered both legs more comprehensively. It felt like the focus was on minimizing effort rather than maximizing results. Unsurprisingly, I saw no improvement. I returned for a follow-up, and they offered to retreat the same areas, again with no results. On my second visit, the provider acknowledged the lack of response and encouraged me to come back a third time to try again. By the third visit, it was clear there was still no progress. After a very brief treatment, I was told (again) to wait a few weeks, and if there were still no results, I could purchase another package. This was after already spending $500 with zero improvement. What was most concerning is that during this process, I was told the laser they had been using is actually more effective for purple veins, not the small red matting veins I have. This was extremely frustrating, given that I had clearly explained my condition from the beginning. Afterward, I consulted with a vein specialist who explained that matting is often very difficult to treat with lasers unless the underlying cause is addressed, something that was never mentioned to me at this med spa. Overall, this experience felt like a costly and avoidable mistake. Had I been given accurate information upfront, I would not have agreed to proceed. Very disappointing.

I was very pleased that not only did Dr. Herbich's office provide me information and pricing over the phone they also provide a free consultation with Dr. Herbich! The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! I was surprised to find out that the procedures that I wanted were very affordable and that Dr Herbich would be administering the injections! Affordable pricing and administered by a Plastic Surgeon!!! So of course my next question was "When is your next available appointment?" Lucky for me they were able to fit me in that same week! My appointment was yesterday and it went great! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful! When I got called back I met with Dr Herbich and we discussed my options for smoothing out my fine lines and wrinkles. He listened to what I wanted and he didn't try to oversell me, I really liked that about him!! He was easy to talk to and I felt like I was in good hands. Dr Herbich then applied a numbing cream to the areas that were going to be injected and I think that I waited for about 15 to 20 minutes for it to take effect. We then went into the procedure room. Dr Herbich injected some numbing medication in the area that I would be getting fillers injected. He then proceeded with the injections, a few manageable bee sting like injections and some barely noticeable injections and Tadah all done!! I have to go back in 2 weeks after the injections have settled in and Dr Herbich will check to see if we have obtained my desired results. I can already see a difference and I love it!! There's some bruising and swelling but that's normal and it will go away in a few days. Once I've obtained my desired results I will post before and after pictures! BONUS: I asked Dr Herbich if he offered a discount for checking in on Yelp, he said that he currently did not but that he would now offer 10% off services just for checking in on Yelp!!! Wow!
